The condo was very well cleaned and prepared for our stay. There were plenty of beach chairs and towels for everyone to use. The master bedroom was quite large and very private, yet there was room for other guests in the additional two bedrooms. A total of four air conditioners kept the unit very comfortable. We would definitely come back.

The condo was beautiful and we could hear the birds singing the property was so clean and friendly. Itā€™s a two minute walk to the beach and there are two small but lovely pools on the property.

Good property but needs improvement

Great location, clean, nice kitchen and comfortable beds. it was an OK property. We did not know how to run the A/C right away because it had a timer. Instructions would have helped. the sliding doors were heavy and very hard to slide. The refridgerator was leaking water out of the bottom. the light in the master bath was burnt out or did not work very well.

Family time

Great place, super quite and well maintained. Local pool a nice touch for the windy day at the beach. Many accessories available to use for a beach day. If anything, the only down side was that we were on the third floor with no elevator available. besides that, nothing to complain about.

Title of property reflects experience

This location is pretty fantastic! Very close to a beach with great sand and walkable to many restaurants. Itā€™s also a very busy area. Traffic at rush hour can frustrating. I would say if you have mobility issues to avoid this specific unit. There are lots of stairs with not elevator and parking is a decent walk from the unit. You will absolutely get your steps in. When we checked in, the wifi and cable wasnā€™t working so we did need to email someone from the property management company about how to get it working. Luckily one of the adults in the group got curious with the boxes and reset everything. There were quite a few damages upon check in that were not reflected in photos. I took photos of most of the damages and sent these to the property manager immediately to avoid any responsibility for said damages. We had nine in our group and it was not great. The unit isnā€™t very sound proof so there was very little privacy. The kids all bunked together (4 boys in a room with two queens and itā€™s own bathroom), our daughter slept with us in a king bed within one bedroom and the other couple shared a queen in the den space off the living room.

Great Family Vacation

This property was large and spacious for our 6 family members (4 adults and 2 kids under 10). Lots of space for everyone to hang out or take a few minutes apart when needed. Haha. We had a great time walking to the beach, shops and restaurants. Great location! Newer appliances in condo were excellent. The doors/windows and screens need to be cleaned and fixed or replaced. All in all we had a great time, thank you for the use of your condo for our much needed family vacation!

Disappointed

The property, pool, and layout were as promised. However, we had several issues with unit itself (Banyan T305). When we landed in Maui we were informed that our unit had maintenance issues that were not fixed during our stay although a maintenance individual arrived as we were walking out the door the morning of our departure. Upon arrival at the prescribed check in time, our room(s) was not clean. We immediately called, were asked to leave, and were able to regain access after 2.5 hrs. Not because anyone called, but because we sat patiently and waited after a meal. This is a tough pill with a tired and grumpy 4 year old who needs a nap. We later found cans of chewing tobacco in a drawer as said 4 year old was playing. Unacceptable. Additionally, I received a call after 48 hours that we would need to leave as the balance of our reservation had not been paid. An email 2 months prior reported the final payment was scheduled. Perhaps I should not have assumed this was the truth. This rental and rental group/ownership does VRBO a disservice and does not belong in its lineup.

Clean but run down

Our family members each had units in the same complex. Theirs were 8/10 & 9/10 ratings. Then there was ours. It was clean. No bugs. New washer/dryer & DW. Beds were okay but middle bedroom was very loud even with one person sleeping in it. The unit was run down, holes in walls where things had fallen off, like the curtain rods.it had not been painted in years. Arrived with a curtain rod out of the wall. It was never fixed. antiquated ac-you have to wake up every 6 hours to turn it back on. No bathroom or bedroom locks work on any doors. So donā€™t expect any privacy. Two of the of the pocket doors didnā€™t work. I would not recommend.

Wonderful stay in beautiful Maui!

We loved the condo. It was perfect for our group of 7 (2 couples and 3 others). Was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and 3 bathrooms was very nice to have. Awesome location close to the beautiful Kamaole beaches and restaurants. Was also very handy the condo came with beach chairs, cooler, and other gear. Kitchen was very nice and updated and came with everything we needed. We loved it!

Several issues for an unpleasant stay

First, letā€™s start with the good. The condo is pretty spacious and supplied with beach gear (snorkels, umbrellas, chairs, tennis rackets). There is AC in every room (although there is a timer, so remmeber to turn on the timer. Thereā€™s ample parking. Now, the bad. The beds in the double room are extremely uncomfortable. We had 2 people share a bed. The beds concave in, so much that on the first night, while they were sleeping, the bed sank and my 2 friends bumped butts. Itā€™s a funny story, but imagine sleeping on that for an entire week. Extremely uncomfortable. Some of them decided to sleep on the couch and chaise instead. The bathroom door in the hallway was broken. You couldnā€™t use the toilet without people seeing inside. I sent a message asking this to be fixed and they said that they reported it and someone was going to come fix it. No one ever did and I wasnā€™t going to spend my vacation chasing the property management to fix something that they shouldā€™ve already fixed. One of the main reasons we booked this rental was because they had 3 bathrooms. But little did we know, it was actually 2. Who wants to do their business when everyone can see? One of the bedrooms open up to the living room but the doors have frosted glasses with a beige colored curtain. This is an issue at night if this bedroom wants to sleep early but the lights are on in the living room or kitchen. The light shines through so itā€™s impossible to sleep. I would not recommend this rental to anyone nor would I book this again.

Great location, but Condo is very worn out

The location is great - easy walk to awesome beaches, shops and restaurants. Lots of easy parking. The condo itself is tired and worn out. Here are a few main points: - Washing machine was covered in mildew and required us to bleach it before we could use it - Bathrooms - pocked doors were off their tracks and locks were broken; shower heads were covered in black mildew; due to the look of the bath tub, we did not feel comfortable with our kids taking a sit-down bath; bath towels were incredibly small and thin - Bedrooms - there are 3 bedrooms and 1 couch in the living room (not 4 separate bedrooms); the linens are almost threadbare, itchy and very old; the king beds were comfortable, but the double beds were incredibly old, saggy in the middle and you could feel every spring; the pillows were thin and flat - Patio: locks on the patio doors were broken; patios were incredibly small and hard to use if more than one person was out there; air conditioning unit took up most of the patio space - Other concerns: only 5 beach towels for a house that sleeps 10; only1 kitchen hand towel and no wash cloths Overall, this unit felt worn out and was not comfortable for our family of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids).

Overall really nice property

The property could use a few fixes / updates: the blinds in the bedroom closest to the living room are broken and would not close; the pantry door scrapes on the floor; the insides of the drip area of the coffee pot looked like gross jelly so we used the one from the 3rd bedroom. However the rest of the property was clean. We had five adults in the 3 bedrooms and we're quite comfortable. The beach chairs and umbrella in the closet were a nice surprise.

Maui is Great

This is a tough review to write. If there was a way to give 4.5 stars, I would have given it that rating. The unit has fantastic views (in the winter months we had sunset over the ocean, and sunrises over Mt. Haleakala). That said, the unit is older and needs a little TLC (the sliding doors are sticky, the pocket doors don't slide right - one slides too well and won't stay closed and the other sticks), it advertises room for 10 but does not have bedding for all the beds, is on the third floor with no elevator. During the stay the dishwasher did not work and it took over two weeks to get it resolved. So... be prepared for a number of little things that you'd expect to be covered, but aren't... but also get ready for some great views, a very comfortable unit, and walking to great restaurants and beaches. My rating... 4.5.
