3 BR in a beautiful resort, super clean, great beach, Sleeps 8

This unit is in the Worldmark timeshare resort and is managed by Wyndham, ranked #3 hotel group in the USA (after Hilton and Marriott). Wyndham goes above and beyond industry standards to please us, Worldmark owners, so we would extend their managing contract every year. The resort in Kihei has 200 units and the cleaning and maintenance team keeps them in a perfect shape. I've been fortunate to accumulate a lot of Worldmark vacation points but don't have time to use them all. As my guests you will have all rights and privileges of regular owners. If something breaks or you run out of kitchen and bathroom necessities, simply call the front desk and they will take care of everything right away. The resort is located just across the street from a great beach, Kamaole 1, very calm and kids friendly. Resort also offers a nice outdoor pool, hot tub, a children's pool, barbecue grilling areas as well as fitness and recreational centers. No smoking inside the unit, no pets allowed, must be 21 or older to book. At check-in the resort will ask for a credit or debit card damage hold, fully refundable.
Units are assigned the morning of check-in and you will be assigned the best available unit on the day you arrive. Pictures you see here are provided by the resort and represent a typical unit. All units are air conditioned, have similar size and layout, and same appliances, furniture, and supplies.
For your convenience, you will find a starter supply of spices, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, paper towels, tissues, toilet paper and laundry soap.

Liked the close location to the many restaurants, shops and beaches. Upon check in, the room was much more basic than advertised. Relatively clean, but very basic. No frills, decorations, etc. Our freezer was not closed properly before we arrived and had completely frosted over the entire thing- would not close and had to call maintenance to defrost and chip away all the built up ice. Air conditioner was dripping large amounts of water the first few hours behind the tv we had to keep wiping upA bit surprised that there was no room service even once during the week stay. Liked the washer and dryer and kitchen.

Convenient location

Great place to stay with family. Accommodated 8 of us with no problem. Great location.. within walking distance of the beach and just a tiny drive to many others and a bunch of great restaurants. Would recommend for an extended stay!!

Maui family vacation

Great place for a group

Great place for our group. Fully equipped kitchen was super helpful to have and there was still plenty of seating space even with 8 people. Outdoor enclosed lanai was good to let our equipment dry out. Would stay here again.

Great Room and location

We really enjoyed walking to the beach, using the pool and hot tub, being able to wash clothes, and having free parking. There are places to eat within walking distance and the sunsets were beautiful. As a family of 8, the 3 bedrooms and murphy bed in the living room were all utilized, but it was great to have different spaces.

The property was conveniently located and close to the Wailea golf courses. The unit we stayed in was accurately listed and very clean. We will visit again on our next golf trip to Wailea.

Very clean room and property. Rooms are big and spacious. Excellent neighborhood and location. Beautiful beaches within walking distance right across the street! Grocery store just down the road.

Great Hawaiian Getaway

What a great location! The pool was amazing and being so close to the beach was great with the kiddo. We spent so much time outside! There’s also so many great things walkable, we rarely had to drive anywhere. This is a fantastic option for a family, and we’ll definitely be back!

Vacation

The property is convenient to food trucks, restaurants and beach. The pool area is well maintained daily and never over crowded. The property is aging and showing some wear. I would stay here again.

Had a wonderful time

The location was big enough for our group of six adults. It had an area to barbecue and eat at that we liked. The beach was in walking distance. It had a nice sized pool. The location can provide the dish soap, detergent, towels for the unit and for the beach. It was an enjoyable time would go back there again.

Location worked great for us.

This condo location worked out great because we had seven family members with different daily plans. With the beach, to shopping to restaurants and the pool, everyone was happy. The room was comfortable and well stocked. It's a busy area and there can be some street noises. The food trucks that park nearby are a great plus!

The location is amazing. Few minutes from the beach. Close to shops and restaurants. The grounds were very well maintained. Plenty of space in the unit. Maintenance was very quick to fix a couple of problems. The unit itself is just showing its age. Livingroom furniture not very comfortable. Would stay here again.

Great location.

We were barely in our room at all. Always on the go, wanted to cram it all in before moving on to the next island. Beds were comfy, everything you need in the kitchen if you want to eat some meals in. Everyone was nice and staff at the front desk were very accommodating. The ONLY thing we wished for, was beach stuff. A couple chairs, boogie boards. Seems so wasteful for guests to have to purchase that stuff again and again. Altho I get some people are jerks and would probably steal it.

We called the front desk to change room they told us to call back and when e did the lady was out We walked to the front desk and the room we wanted was no longer available and the lady did not get the message we left The second room was better but it was on the ground floor We would probably stay there again but only if we got a room on a higher floor

Spacious with full kitchen!

This space was perfect for our family of 5. We had a 3 bedroom unit on the end and we were on the 4th (top) floor which I liked. It was so spacious and the full kitchen (full sized appliances and dishwasher) had everything we needed to make simple meals with plenty of utensils and dishes. The beds and pillows were comfy and plentiful and the rooms had their own fans and AC units which did run on the loud side. The living room unit was much quieter. We didn't need the Murphy bed so I can't speak on that. Every closet had 10 Hangers and the rooms had dressers and nightstands with drawers! This room felt like a nice 3 bedroom apartment except for it did have the traditional hotel carpet. The pool and hot tub were large but could use more frequent cleaning since there was a lot of cand at the bottom with people coming from the beach. This accommodation listing was accurate but I wasn't expecting the kitchen to be so spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Good (not great) family stay

First the good: Location, location, location. For a few of us, this was our 3rd or 4th stay on Maui. We love Kihei for its general unassuming sort of air and having great sand beaches right across the street for the kids and a good onsite pool made the week for us. The bad: Our apartment wasn’t ready at check-in (4pm). We were showed another apartment that was in the back of the property, surrounded by the parking lot. We decided to wait for the regular apartment to be ready. Location was closer to the pool… though all ground floor apartments are arranged pretty dumb with terraces either overlooking the parking lot or the back of buildings with their air conditioning units. There are pretty gardens onsite, though these all give to the hallways. Even the upper floors don’t have the most ideal terrace situations. Cockroaches. We found a couple. Not totally unexpected, but not ideal. Apartments are generally dated, but functional.

Review

Everything was nice, clean, and as advertised. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 since not as plush as the high end resorts. Room was ready at advertised time. We did try to get an early checkin . The front desk was off by a couple hours estimating the time. We could have planned the afternoon better with an accurate estimate. Rooms had everything we needed for our stay and we enjoyed being there
