Great Location
The best thing about this duplex is its location. The house is a 5 minute drive from the heavily tourist Port de Alcudia, a 5 minute drive from the walled city of Alcudia and a 10 minute walk to beaches located in Alcanada. Port de Polencia is also just a 20 minute drive north.
As you walk out the front door and go about 20 feet, you find a set of stairs leading to a path that follows the coastline. Everyday, we'd walk down for a quick jump in the water as there are many accessible spots along the rocky waterline. Although there were only 2 of us, this house can easily host 6 people with its three bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning. On very hot days, the stand-up fans are not enough.
Having used VRBO homes throughout the world, I was a little disappointed in the lack of some of the basic amenities such as body soap, coffee supplies (filters or pods, etc), salt/pepper/olive oil, aluminum foil, etc. These are things that people should not have to bring or buy when staying in a house. Overall, the kitchen equipment was slightly sparse; if you want to do a lot of cooking, this will not be the kitchen for you. Newer appliances and countertops are great, but lack of equipment makes the kitchen low functionality.
Parking is on street or in driveway and we found the entire neighborhood incredibly safe along with the house itself.
There is construction next door but wasn't an issue.
