We just returned from our first visit to the North Carolina high country. We stayed at Annie’s cabin in Banner Elk and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My wife was officiating the wedding of a very dear nephew and we were hoping for a place that matched the spirit of being with loved ones. Annie’s Cabin was perfect.The property is charming, beautiful and serene. Everything was very high quality and seemed to be thoughtfully placed to provide a warm family experience in the mountains. It is immaculately clean. There are wonderful views from the deck of the mountain and a lovely pond. I recommend you visit Annie’s Cabin, and I am pretty sure you’ll want to return often.

Wonderful stay

Annie’s cabin had everything needed for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the wildlife and just relaxing. We so enjoyed our time.

This is simply one of the best spots we've encountered.IT felt like our own private pond and getaway up in the mountains. It's well located to get to several places but still feels isolated. We enjoyed the critters that would visit each day and night and loaded our cameras wil amazing scenary and wildlife images.The check in process was super easy and the owners we incredibly kind and accomodating. I highly recommend this location. It's clean, very well taken care of, and well worth the money.We hope to return!

Annie and her husband were there for us every step! Responded were quick which made for a stress free stay. This place was perfect!! It was spacious for 8 of us! Clean as could be! Cozy beds, beautiful views and our own deer to feed. It was absolutely magical. A quick drive to the skiing. Highly recommend.
We had fun family game night in the spacious living room

This was my best Vrbo experience to date! The cleanest and most well organized home you could choose. Great location in quiet neighborhood. Annie is a great host and makes you feel comfortable staying in their home. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Vacation Home

We had the best time visiting Sugar mountain and staying at Annie's Cabin. It is exactly as described on VRBO and felt like home. We especially enjoyed the pond, back yard, and deer visitors during our stay.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We were hoping for snow but the scenery with snow was beautiful. The cabin was perfect and the wildlife was fun to watch. Would definitely come again.

Everything. Host was very helpful and friendly. Cabin was in an excellent spot with wonderful views. Loved that we had to put out food for the deer which we saw very day. There was snow so kids had a lot of fun playing in the back yard.Cabin was clean and had everything you needed. Loved the beat theme and layout.

Amazing home and so clean

This was the perfect home for a 2 family get away. The house was spot less, it was well stocked with anything we needed, and the views were gorgeous! I highly recommend staying here as the host were amazing to communicate with and it was so cozy.

Awesome experience

It was a wonderful spot to stay, not far from Grand Father Mountain, Hawks Nest, and grocery stores. The cabin was beautiful, clean, cozy with a fabulous view! The host was extremely pleasant and responsive throughout our stay! Thanks!

Very clean and enjoyed the wild animals.

Annie's cabin is always very clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. The location is very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed seeing the wild animals: turkeys, groundhogs, chipmucks, birds, squirrels, and a black bear.

Sugar mountain getaway

Annie’s Cabin was exactly as it was advertised. Owners were very helpful and informative. Cabin was very clean and the animals were intertaining, especially the little bear.

Cozy, comfortable and peaceful

Everything was great from our first communication with the owner through checkout. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had a certain peace about it. Loved the wildlife viewing and scenery.

Thanksgiving with family

Really enjoyed our stay during Thanksgiving at the cabin. The cabin was immaculate and cozy. We enjoyed board games at the kitchen table, watching wildlife from the deck ( a well fed black bear, deer, coyotes), fishing, and the fire pit. I can't think of a better cabin we have stayed at in the NC Mountains.

Home Away from Home!

This is not our first time staying in Annie's Cabin and it certainly wont be the last. With breathtaking views and all the comforts of home, this cabin makes us want to buy property on Sugar Mountain! We have recommended this rental to all of our friends! Thank you Perrin Family for a lovely family vacation!!
