We spent the winter months totally refurbishing our apartment. Everything is new - kitchen, bathrooms, new tiles inside & out!!! We have put our heart and soul into this project. We know you will appreciate the effort once you come visit 😎😎😎!!

We are located in a fantastic spot, plus have a safe, underground carpark space.
A 2/3 minute walk takes you to the city walls and there starts the vast array of shops, bars & restaurants within Old Town Lagos. Wander through these beautiful cobbled streets, down to the main square within 5/10 minutes max.
A further 10 minute walk takes you to the stunning Marina de Lagos which offers further bars, restaurants plus boat trips. Taxis and Uber are easily and cheaply available as is Public transport.

The Vrbo was in a great location. We were just a few minutes walk to the old town. Our hosts were quick to respond and gave great suggestions of places to see and places to visit. We will definitely return.

We stayed in this apartment for 26 days, and absolutely loved it! Everything was exceptional! The property was fantastic and had absolutely everything we could need. The location was perfect for the old town and the marina. Beautiful modern spotless condo with amazing views from 2 decks. Kitchen to die for. 2 bright large bedrooms with sliding doors to deck from each. So much space! Just 5 minute walk to the heart of old town but without the noise. Very safe area with parking and outdoor shared pool. Owners were friendly and helpful with contactless checkin. Best Vrbo we have ever stayed at! Old town Lagos is heaven. Friendly people and lots to do! Thanks Paula!

I have asked Paula to post our review. We spent a wonderful week in this amazing apartment in Lagos. This apartment has a magnificent view of the beach and old town and we had a full moon over the sea during our visit. We appreciated having a private parking space below and the independence of self catering. Everything is provided in this apartment, even a shopping trolley, umbrella, beach towels etc. The apartment is spotlessly clean and comfortable with tv and audio equipment. Paula and Simon are easily contactable and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, etc. Everything you need is within walking distance with Old Town around the corner. For us it was a great base to discover the Algrave coast and mountains by car. This is a home from home in the sunshine. We felt welcomed and safe and cared for. We intend to be back. Thank you Paula and Simon.

Perfect loved apartment!

Paula was very helpful prior to arriving with transportation and lot's of information on arrival! The apartment is just like the photos lovely! Really appreciated small touches...caddy to do shopping, umbrella for the beach. We also used the spa next door. The view each morning was a treat. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous apartment

We had such a relaxing time in Paula & Simon’s apartment. It is so well equipped with all mod cons, they have thought of everything and Paula is so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We have stayed in various apartments throughout the Algarve and this is by far the nicest one and the views are amazing. We would definitely return.

A Magical Experience

What you match a great property with a great location and an amazing host, you get a magical experience. My wife and I spent 5 nights in Lagos and staying at this property was a key to us having a special experience. Our host Paula was kind and attentive and highly responsive. The location of the property was great. Located just outside the walls of the old town, it was a breeze to stroll the streets and explore Lagos. While we rented a car, we did not need it in Lagos only to explore the Algarve region outside of Lagos. With great restaurant guidance from Paula we were able to walk to great restaurants with little effort. I look forward to returning to Lagos and hope to stay in this immaculate and well appointed property.

Beautiful!

What a beautiful area! The apartment was well appointed, amazing views from the balcony, very close walking distance to shopping and LOTS of restaurants/cafes/bars. We enjoyed sunning by the pool in the afternoons after a morning of sightseeing. Paula was very easy to work with and quick to reply. The only reason I marked a 4 for “accuracy on listing” is because there is not a dryer. Everything else is as beautiful as the pictures show!

A piece of heave

Without a doubt an exquisite experience. Would recommend to everyone. Location, views, cleanliness, all amenities, comfort +++. More than anything else was the communication with the owners. Every WhatsApp was replied to almost instantly with so much care and information. Most helpful people we have ever rented from. We hope to get back some day. Whatever the absolutely highest rating is - ours would be higher.

Fantastic Apartment

We had the best holiday staying in Paula’s apartment. It is in the perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the Old Town and the marina and beaches are also in walking distance. The apartment itself is just stunning, it was sparkly clean on arrival, lots of space, the kitchen has everything you could need. The views from the front balcony are amazing, a lovely place to sit, nice views from the rear balcony too. Lots of wardrobe/drawer space in the bedrooms, powerful showers in both bathrooms. The swimming pool is lovely, plenty of sun loungers, we had it to ourselves whenever we used it. We had great communication with Paula, her instructions to find and access the apartment were perfect and her recommendations for places to eat were really helpful. We highly recommend this apartment. Thank you Paula and Simon!

Modern upscale apartment. The hosts have gone out of their way to supply what is needed . The coffee pods were greatly appreciated. Appliances are new and in great shape . The BBQ was fantastic to have! The larger balcony has awesome views of old town and the beach. The smaller balcony is sunny and warm .We were within walking distance to old town the Marina and much more. Our breath was taken away when we walked in! It is the nicest apartment I have been in on our Portugal travels. The owner provided us with many tips on restaurants which came in really handy. The place is just superb! I can’t say enough about it . We are hoping to be able to return!

Fantastic Condo

I 100% recommend staying at this condo! My husband and I were very pleased with this home. The photos perfectly match the condo. It is a very bright and cozy place where we felt very comfortable and relaxed. The cleanliness is a huge factor for me and this home did not disappoint. I am a bug-a-phobe so thankfully there were none. The very modern kitchen comes equipped with everything you need. The balcony had lovely seating with a BBQ/outdoor kitchen area but we unfortunately, did not get to use thanks to the rainy days. We made use of the multiple food suggestions Paula had forwarded to us instead! The home is in a great location. It is in a great area to walk around/sightsee along with great food options. We did rent a car and there is a parking spot inside the building which was very user friendly. Communication with Paula was excellent. She had left very clear instructions/guide on everything in the home and promptly responded to any queries we had. We enjoyed our stay in Lagos.

Absolutely Perfect!

Beautiful home with a stunning view in a. Fantastic location! This condo has absolutely everything you need! It's right around the corner from old town (less than 5 minute walk) I would prefer this location to being right in Old town because it is on a main road with a parking garage which makes it far easier to drive and park than if you were located right on old town where the roads are so small and narrow. We were able to enjoy walks to the marina ( about 15 minutes) to enjoy boat and kayak tours. There a few beautiful beaches within walking distance. We were able to explore so much no problem on foot. So many restaurants and cool little bars including Karokee. Tons of shops and local vendors are all basically steps away. The building is secure and clean. It is very quiet and has a elevator which makes for easy luggage transfer. The first thing we noticed upon entering the apartment was how bright and clean everything was. The next was the stunning view!! The balcony off the bedrooms was an added bonus as was the outdoor kitchen on the main balcony!! Paula was an excellent host with fantastic communication and even provided a list of great places to eat!! If you are looking for a fantastic place in a perfect location look no further!!

Cuidado ao alugar estar casa. O meu check out era às 10h da manhã e por um atraso de meia hora a sair, a senhoria está-me a tentar cobrar mais um dia completo. Para além de que não temos qualquer contacto presencial com ela.

The review to which I am forced to respond is a misrepresentation of the facts. This has resulted in an unfair rating, which unfortunately I appear unable to have removed. Group arrived (four males, mid 20’s) - told me by message that the apartment was great. I subsequently received a complaint from the residents association in relation to the guests behaviour - disruption all through the night. The guest apologised and assured me that there would be no repitition of their behaviour. I reiterated the check out time with the guest. The following day our cleaners arrived at the apartment to find the guests still in bed after check out time. Our cleaners waited close by and returned again to commence their cleaning and the guests still had not left. The cleaners had to assist with guests departure and then set about the task of cleaning the apartment. Additional cleaning time was then required within the apartment due to guests leaving items messy. This, plus the earlier delay in gaining access caused a knock on effect with my cleaners onward schedule. As a result of all this, our next guests could not get in at their agreed access time and were inconvenienced greatly. I did not request an extra day’s payment. I requested payment for the costs incurred relating to the above. Due to a technical hitch I had not received a security deposit from this guest and hence all financial costs have been covered by me. I have received no additional funds from this guest. I have since increased my House Rules in the hope that I will not ever have to go through this type of experience again. We no longer will accept bookings from younger same gender groups unless with specific permission. Overall a very disappointing and costly experience for me. Superschöne und ruhige Ferienwohnung

Diese Ferienwohnung ist ein Glücksgriff. Die ganze Wohnung ist schön und durchdacht. Die Ausstattung ist mehr als großzügig und von hoher Qualität, es fehlt nichts. Alles ist supersauber und schön. Es war ruhig und sicher. Paula und Simon sind perfekte Gastgeber mit vielen Tipps und immer schnell erreichbar. Es war ein sehr herzlicher Kontakt - vielen, vielen Dank Paula. Für das Auto gab es in der Tiefgarage einen Platz. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in fußläufiger Entfernung und gibt sogar eine Sackkarre für Einkäufe. Die Wohnung ist direkt hinter der Stadtmauer und man ist nur ein paar Schritte von der Altstadt entfernt. Das WLAN ist zuverlässig und schnell (war wichtig für die kids). Bei dieser Wohnung muss man nicht überlegen - klare und uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

One of the very few places I have stayed where the pictures don't come close to the actual beauty ..

Very comfortable and beautiful property, woth great kitchen, beds, shower, and that balcony with view of the bay...very attentive host, Paula, who made sure we had what we needed...little restaurant at bottom of the street not to be missed...also try Italuan ...Pomo...make their own pasta.....

My husband and I have been visiting Lagos since 2008. We absolutely love Lagos and the people - so much so we purchased here end of March 2019. We enjoy walking / cycling and are still discovering surprises in Lagos. We enjoy sailing - the Algarve is a superb coastline that offers so many contrasting locations.
We enjoy dining out and if this is your ‘thing’, then Lagos is your ‘place’!!! We have an amazing selection of excellent restaurants within minutes from the apartment.
We enjoy drives along the coast and up into Monchique mountains.
We have owned Holiday Let properties in Ireland over the last 20 years and appreciate the need to provide a quality property, backed up with excellent customer service. I enjoy engaging with my guests - building up a rapport and hopefully good repeat custom.

Because of the views!!
Absolutely stunning.
We have the old town with the church spires and the chiming bells.
We have the Monchique mountains.
We have the half moon shaped beach of Meia Praia.
We have the whole of Lagos Bay - even beyond Alvor and Portimao.
I cannot get my photos to capture the view in a way that does it justice, so hopefully when my guests arrive, they will get a nice surprise!!

Because of the location - the accessibility to both the Old Town & the Marina.

Because of the build quality and the fact that half of the owners in our condominium are Portuguese - the real feel!!

Because of the two balcony option. Sun bathe or Shade bathe - your choice from morning through to evening. Everyone can have their choice.
