First floor of a duplex, owners live upstairs, just 2 houses from the beach in quiet, family friendly Holgate on Long Beach Island, NJ.. Fully fenced back yard.


4 beach badges included.

2 br / 1 ba , sleeps 5, Master bedroom - full bed /, 2nd bedroom - twin bunk bed with additional twin. Comfortable living room with 2 over-sized couches, chairs, TV and DVD/VCR player and Wifi. Air-conditioned

Fully-equipped eat-in kitchen with seating for 6 with dishes, silverware, pots and pans etc., microwave, toaster oven/air fryer and coffee pot.

Enclosed outdoor shower with private changing area.

New clothes washer and dryer!

Covered Back porch deck with table and chairs. Picnic table and Weber natural gas grill, clothes line, books and games. Ample parking for 2 cars. Just a short ride, walk, or bike ride into Beach Haven for shopping, dining, and amusement park. Close to Nelson Ave Park playground, pickleball courts and large field.

Bring your own sheets, blankets, towels, beach chairs and towels etc.

Many of our returning tenants choose to thoroughly clean the apartment for the next tenant and so avoid incurring a cleaning fee. Let me know at the time of inquiry if you would prefer to pay a cleaning fee.

We require a minimum age of 25 for rental. The house is located in a very family oriented neighborhood, and while we certainly encourage spending time with friends and family, we would ask that you respect our neighbors and keep celebrations to a reasonable volume and time.

If you need to cancel I will absolutely make every effort to re-book and refund your money. However, if I am unable to re-book the property no refund will be returned.

AH’s Tired - Perfect

The only word to describe our stay is perfect. An ideal getaway spot on LBI just steps from the beach. Clean and comfortable this is a great place to stay while on the island. Susan and Dave are amazing hosts and so accommodating. Look forward to our next stay!

Ah’s Tires

We had such a nice two-week stay. The house is was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach: deck, great outdoor shower, and washer and dryer were a big plus! We loved the proximity to the beach, ice cream and Beach Haven shops. Sue and Dave were great and we hope to be back soon!

Fantastic

A delightful spot for a relaxing family vacation. The house was perfect! Could not ask for a better location- the beach is a few houses away. Near the playground and ice cream shop. The house suited all of our needs, is well kept, and clean. Susan and David are great! Thank you!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My experience at Ah's Tired was great! My mom and I stayed at this beach house for a few days to enjoy a beach weekend. Susan was extremely accommodating and helpful. The house was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. It was spacious and the outdoor space was perfect for grilling and relaxing on the deck. Being only two houses from the beach, my mom and I had easy access to and from the beach each day, and we really enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. It's location is perfect- close to the shops, Bay Village, etc., but distanced enough to avoid traffic and congestion. My mom and I really couldn't have asked for a better weekend, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Relaxing, quiet, getway at Ah's Tired!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ah's Tired! The cottage was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials and has a nice size dining table. The open concept layout gave us enough room to spread out, but still be able to converse between the living room and kitchen. This place definitely had some perks, such as the fully stocked bookshelf, with plenty of games and books. Our favorite was the crossword puzzles! The outdoor shower was very nice, and was equipped with a shower seat and separate changing area. My father enjoyed the grill and it was nice to know there was a washer and dryer if we needed it. The location was perfect since it was so close to the beach (2 houses) and bay. The owners, Sue & David, were accommodating, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the personal conversations we had with them, and were thankful when they went out of their way to answer any questions we had. This really was the relaxing, quiet getaway my family needed. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

Excellent location! Friendly Owners! Quaint, Clean and Ample Room.

Just spent a week here in Holgate at the southern end of beautiful Long Beach Island. Reasonably priced compared to many rentals, the house was two homes away from beach entrance. The beach never felt crowded and has lifeguards. Walk out the front door and look left and down the street is the bay. Great space. We had up to 5 people staying for a short time and we had enough space. Great deck with table and chairs, a gas grille, an enclosed outdoor shower and dressing area. Each room has an air conditioner. Off street parking for up to three cars was great. Full kitchen amenities. Big refrigerator. Gas stove and microwave and a table for 6. Let's talk about the location. You can walk to the bike rental shop and get your coffee in the morning and ice cream after dinner at The Boardwalk. (Try Skipper Dipper"s a short drive north!) Just minutes to all that Beach Haven has to offer; a water park and a kid's amusement park, Bay Village, and many many shops and restaurants. Put The Chicken or the Egg on your list! All in all we had a great time and I am already looking forward to returning next year!

Great beach cottage

We had a great time at Ah’s tired. It’s in a great, quiet part of LBI, just steps from the beach. The place is a quaint little cottage that is very comfortable and perfect for a beach getaway with family. The hosts were also fantastic and available for anything.

Excellent location and convenient

It's our second time staying and we've had a great time at LBI. Perfect location from beach (5 minute walk) and the house is clean and comfortable. Outdoor shower and hose were very useful for small kids and the house had plenty of room for our family of five. Sue and Dave were great hosts. Thanks again for a great vacation!

Most mornings I had my first sips of coffee once my feet touched the sand (the house is super close to the beach, viewing the sunrise is effortless). It's also a very short walk to the bay (perfect for sunsets)! The house was clean and Sue and Dave were there to welcome us and make sure we had what we needed. There's an ice cream/bike rental shop one street up, and if you like riding bikes, you're a short ride from the tail-end of the island. Our family took a few midnight rides as well. Loved the outdoor shower and the sofas in the living room. We didn't play any board games...too busy exploring and beaching, but there's a whole bookshelf with every game you can think of for possible rainy days. We had perfect weather and really enjoyed our time there. It was exactly how a vacation should be. I miss the bike and lazy afternoons by the water.

The getaway we needed!

Ash’s Tired is the place to go where you’re just that: looking for a place to reset, kick back, and enjoy life! My husband and I absolutely loved our week’s stay. The accommodations are as described, and the house was clean and equipped with what we needed to cook and enjoy the home as our own. The outdoor shower and outdoor picnic table were perks that made the stay that much more enjoyable. The location is also perfect. It’s just across the street from the beach entrance and also only a few blocks away from the bay, which we walked towards to enjoy several sunsets. Sue and David were gracious hosts, easy to reach and extremely pleasant people. All our worries and cares seemed to dissipate on this trip. We’ve both been to LBI most summers, and feel that this stay was our best. Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend staying at Ah’s Tired!

The Best Beach House

Home Away from Home

We were genuinely pleased with our experience. Quiet neighborhood was pleasant. Property was exceedingly clean. The owners were exceptionally hospitable and seemed eager to have us have a good time.

Wonderful relaxing stay just a block from the uncrowded beach

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful long weekend stay here. Location to beach is great, it's on the less crowded southern part of the island. Awesome playground nearby which was perfect for our small daughter. House has everything you need. We will definitely be going back!

Steps from the beach, ice cream and park

Great stay at Ah's Tired! Proximity to the beach and 2 blocks from Boardwalk Ice Cream and a park with play place was especially fantastic with an 18 month old. The home itself was extremely clean and just the right size for 4 adults, child, and dog. Thanks to Susan and David for being such wonderful hosts. Would highly recommend!

For many years we have enjoyed 3 generations of family vacations at Ah's Tired. This is our favorite place to relax, reconnect, eat, drink, swim , read good books, entertain friends and family, sleep....And Repeat! We stay upstairs and are here off and on most of the summer.

My parents purchased this home about 40 years ago, and it is one of our favorite places on earth! My Dad hoped that we would always return with our spouses, kids, grand-kids and boy have we ever! We purposely keep the rates low and the accommodations clean and simple so that families like ours can have an affordable place to vacation and make memories. Most of our tenants have been staying with us for decades, returning year after year and telling their family and friends about us. When you stay with us, be sure to ask us why the house is named "Ah's Tired"!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our's isn't the biggest house on the block, but you can't beat the location! We are just 2 houses from the beach and 2 short blocks to the bay which makes it really convenient for quick trips back and forth if you forget something or want a snack. We have one of the nicest and longest beaches in Holgate with clean white sand and friendly life guards. If you need to get out of the sun, head back to the house and sit on the covered back porch deck, sit in the shade and enjoy the breeze. There is plenty of room for your beach chairs and toys. Enjoy cooking meals out on the gas grill. At the end of the day, our favorite place to get cleaned up is in the outside shower! Oh, how I wish I had one at home!
