This very open and airy vacation rental is your home away from home for that once in a lifetime Florida keys vacation! This beautiful house offers high vaulted ceilings with paddle fans, an over-sized covered terrace overlooking the water and a wrap around balcony through out the entire house. Three bedrooms with queen size beds sleep six comfortably. The dining room accommodates 6 to 8 comfortably. There is a second game table that accommodates another 4 if you wish to entertain. The open floor plan provides an ideal setting for family members gathering and sharing meals and good times. Newly built heated swimming pool.
The home is located a short 5 minute walk from beautiful Sombrero Beach with it's breathtaking sunsets and all year round tropical warm waters, and white sands. The home offers an ideal spot for fishing, snorkeling/diving, boating or just relaxing, barbecuing and fishing right from your dock. Pristine and colorfull Sombrero Reef is only four miles off shore and easily accessable by boat. Bring yours or rent from many rental facilities right in town. Cinemas, shopping, museums and nature walks are all within reach right here...in Marathon.
A five minute drive to the famous 7-Mile Bridge and Bahia Honda State Park and it's beautifull beaches. And for a break from paradise, exciting Key West is only a short 45 minute drive.

Villa Casa Cayo

We stayed for a week and were very happy with the house. The location was great, the neighborhood was quite and it was a short walk to the beach. The pool was nice and was heated which was nice as our weather for the week was not good. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Week Christmas trip

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Easy walk to the beach. Shaded and heated pool if you want an evening swim or to escape the sun but still be in the water. Easy boat access if you have a boat. Place was very clean and Grace was very responsive to our questions. Would stay again. Nieborhood was quiet as well.

Post Christmas New Years Vacation

We had a wonderful visit in this rental. The home was perfect and peaceful. Great location for visiting the beach. Itā€™s just a short walk to Sombrero. Marathon is our favorite Key. Hope to stay here, again, in the future. The host was so kind and helpful. Very easy to reach at a momentā€™s notice.

Exactly what we wanted!

This perfectly located home was spacious and relaxing for the whole family. The boat parking spot in front was ideal as we rented a boat. The turquoise canal was beautiful and the home was exactly as we hoped. Warm breezes on the large covered terrace were so lovely. We hope to enjoy this home again for the same holiday next year! Thank you to our gracious hosts!

Tree House in Paradise

The house is comfortable and inviting and functional for 4 to 6 adults. Both the house and pool are surrounded by tropical foliage giving a peaceful, relaxing setting for chilling out. It is just a couple of blocks from Sombrero beach and a walking/biking trail to the supermarket and within easy biking or driving distance of all of Marathon, Fl attractions and restaurants. We loved our extended stay there and will be back next year.

Sombrero Beach Getaway

The property is nice and clean. It's a 7 minute walk to Sombrero beach. The pool is really nice and the temperature is warm, a lot of property owners charge extra to use the pool heater but the saltwater pool temp was perfect. It's a quiet property and pretty private. It's

Marathon, December 24

This is the second time we have stayed at villa Casa Cayo and had a great time. The pool was great ( heater was turned in December) and swam in it every day. The dock had been replaced since our last visit and is very nice. Itā€™s a short walk to Sombrero beach that is a very well kept public beach. The house is in about the middle of Marathon, close to grocery stores and resteraunts. We had a great time and would consider coming back.

Pictures donā€™t do it justice!

This place is beautiful! The whole living room and kitchen are surrounded by windows. If youā€™re a visitor from the North, this is a great place to escape the cold. Even when youā€™re indoors, you still get to experience the beauty and sunshine of the Keys at this house. The owner was very responsive in a timely manner when I had questions about the house/property.

Winter Reprieve

The home was completely comfortable for 4 adults (2 couples): it was very clean and furnished with everything needed to make complete meals and relax. The pool is surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation and feels very secluded. It is a short walk to beautiful Sombrero Beach. There is a 2 mile bike/walking path to Publix nearby, all very convenient and relaxing. I

Awesome Vacation

We had such a great time at this property. Itā€™s beautiful and the pool was a real treat for the kids. We rented a boat for the week and kept it tied to the dock. Fresh water hose and shower with fish cleaning station was very convenient. We fished, snorkeled, and enjoyed the sandbars all week and came home to this lovely property. Kitchen was well stocked and with a Publix right down the street it was perfection. We also walked to sombrero beach one day for a change of pace and that too was a delight. Graciela was a great hostess and we will be back!

Amazing house - will stay again for sure!

Our family of 5 was very happy with Casa Cayo last week. It was so spacious and had EVERYTHING we could possibly need. There was plenty of living space and the outdoor covered patio area was my favorite place to have coffee and watch the canal activity. The pool was perfect for our kiddos and was mostly shaded. There were a few spots of sun for me when I wanted to lay out a bit but I liked that my kids swimming were mostly protected from the sun. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels for the beach, etc. We just loved it!

The complete package!

This house is the complete package! It has excellent views, when you walk in the whole entire side, and back has windows overlooking the water, and all the beautiful foliage. The wraparound porch was perfect for enjoying the outdoors, as well as some morning exercise walking. It is centrally located, just five minutes from sombrero beach. We enjoyed evenings in the pool, barbecuing, and playing games in the many hang out areas. We were sad when our time ended, but will definitely be back next year ( maybe before).

Marathon trip with friends

All was nice except bed in master bedroom needs updating it stretched terrible and my friends husband needed to go to another bedroom. Pillows were flat and need updating. The rest of the property was beatiful and well maintained. Our then issues mentioned above we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Delightfully pleasant Marathon stay

This property, comfortable and welcoming, is located in a residential area. The home is nicely situated along a broad canal, with a very peaceful and serene setting and feel. The covered second floor porch overlooking the boardwalk along the water is the perfect relaxed setting for morning coffee and reading, as well as afternoon, pre-dinner wine and drinks. It is quiet and the breeze is gentle. The home was comfortable for a group of six adults. The new pool is small but nice, and although there is plenty of sun, much of the pool area is shaded in full or part. The beach, with a lovely setting, however,, is only a few blocks away. Biking, running, walking are easy and the area invites such activities. The owners were great. We would not hesitate booking again

Comfortable House & Oceanside Boating Access

Casa Cayo is in a very nice neighborhood--short walk to Sombrero Beach. We chose this location due to its access to the ocean from the dock, with a canal large enough to turn our trimaran around. Loved the layout of the house--open layout and outdoor living spaces on both floors. The dock needs replaced and the kitchen needs updated (in work per the owners). The master bedroom mattress was too hard for me so added extra pillows. The house was clean, the A/C worked, and the kitchen was well stocked. There's extra refrigerator/freezers downstairs for ice, fish, birthday cakes, etc. The pool was fun to use, especially with the light strings on at night. There are some friendly iguanas living in the backyard. The owner replied promptly to my questions/comments.

Awesome home!

We loved staying in this awesome spot. It was a perfect location by water or land. Easy access to the Atlantic or Gulf side by water and close to everything you need by land. The house and pool accommodated all our needs. This is our new favorite place to stay in Marathon!

Glorious casa

The property was great. Quick access to the canal out back, beautiful pool, and the house was awesome. The kitchen was equipped with everything one needs to make amazing meals. The bait freezer out side was also a wonderful touch.

This property is Great! Heated pool, canal , very private and landscaped beautifully . The owner was fantastic communicating and sympathetic to a situation we had before coming. I would not hesitate to rent this property again!

We had a great week at Graceā€™s house. Even though it was slightly chiller we were still able to enjoy the heated pool. Great communication experience with Grace before, during and at the end of our stay.

Great Family Spot!

We enjoyed everything about this property. It has great indoor and outdoor space to accommodate a family and soak up the beauty the outdoor life the keys provide. Excellent neighborhood to be able to ride bikes safely and a quick walk to sombrero beach. Highly recommend!
