Tingler Retreat is a tastefully decorated 3 bedroom, 3 bath home with a pull-out couch, has a peek-a-boo view of the ocean and is seconds to open water in your boat! It has an open floor plan and is ground level with plenty of natural light and a fully fenced yard! Available for guest use are 2 bikes, 3 kayaks, and a paddleboard! It has a large pool with plenty of room for everyone to swim and play.

The Master has a king bed and an en suite bathroom. The other two rooms have one queen bed each and have hall bathrooms. There is also a pull-out couch, so the house sleeps 8 guests.

Centrally located in Marathon, all the restaurants and anything you want to do is less no more than 10 minutes away! Sombrero Beach is just down the street, half a mile (2-minute drive, 2-minute bike ride, 9-minute walk). There is a long wide bike path all the way to the beach!

Publix and Winn Dixie Grocery stores are two minutes away! About 17 minutes from Bahia Honda State Park, only an hour from Key West, and 40 minutes from Islamorada, there are plenty of fun day trips should you want to explore other areas!

$45 Management Fee is Damage Insurance covering up to 3k in damages.

The property manager is available 7 days a week, day and evening.

Marathon is one of the larger islands of the Keys with everything you would want and need for a fabulous vacation! There are tons of amazing restaurants and activities! Centrally located, Tingler Retreat is close to everything!

We recommend you bring or rent a car. There are two bikes at the property for your use at no extra charge.

The house was just like listed! We paid to heat the pool & it was well worth it & so warm with the cooler weather we experienced while there. Host communicated well, answering all of our questions & giving us all the information we needed for our stay. Perfect location, less than 1/2 a mile walk to sombrero beach. House was easy to find & had plenty of room for 3 couples!

Had an incredible week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Tingler Retreat. It is well supplied with dishes and cookware, clean linens, pool toys, beach chairs, bikes and kayaks. The back yard is itā€™s own retreat and very relaxing. Enjoyed sunsets on the beach a short walk away and visiting Key West for a day. Our family all agreed we could stay here again - we had a great time!! Communication leading up to our stay and during was quick and appreciated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was Beautiful and very clean. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen had anything you needed and a very relaxed environment. I loved being able to see the pool from the kitchen, kitchen table, and master bedroom. Pool was so much fun to have, although it was a little warm, but we did stay during literally the hottest week of the year. Meredith was very easy to communicate with and ensured we had everything we needed. Location is perfect with this house for what we needed, short canal ride to the Atlantic, short car ride to all kinds of restaurants, grocery, and marinas. The outside hut with the TV was such a fun place to relax. Just an overall perfect trip with a lot or memories made.

A nice retreat

The house is situated on a canal in a great location for boating both in the ocean and the gulf. The house was very clean and had everything we needed plus bikes, kayaks and pool games. The new tiki hut by the pool was a life savor in the hot August heat. Also the home is very close to grocery stores and restaurants. The property manager answered all my questions promptly.

Very clean and and well equipped kitchen!

Our family of seven enjoyed this home for a week. Home was very clean and we didnā€™t have a single issue arise during the week. Home was very spacious and open throughout. Having stayed in several homes in Marathon, we appreciated the extra products in the kitchen (dish soap, trash bags, plenty of paper towels for the week!) Also appreciated the number of large frying pans in the kitchen - something that I rarely see in vacation homes. Bonus- they were stainless steel! Boys werenā€™t able to fish the canal due to collection of sargassum but they did enjoy the pool. Very conveniently located to the beach, stores and restaurants. We will definitely book our next rental with Pineapple properties as we definitely noticed the difference in the home and it was appreciated!

Marathon Paradise

Pictures donā€™t do Tingler justice. The home, pool and patio were wonderful. We had three generations and everyone had a great time. The pool and tiki hut are amazing. Meredith was quick to respond to any questions we had. Our family canā€™t wait to go back!

Fantastische Ferien in Marathon

Tingler Retreat ist ein wunderschƶnes Haus an bester Lage. Das Haus hat alles und mehr was du brauchst. Der Pool ist perfekt. Es hat Beachutensilien, Kajaks und 4 Velos. In 5 Minuten bist du mit dem Velo am Strand. Wir haben verschiedene AusflĆ¼ge unternommen wie: Sportfischen, schwimmen mit Delfinen, Aquarium, Bahia Honda Statepark und einen Tag nach Key West. Buche und erfahre selber wie toll es ist.

Just as promised!

Went as a group of 3 couples and the house layout was really ideal, with each couple having their own bathroom. House had all amenities as promised. Super clean with amazing outdoor space! The TV under the tiki hut was perfect for the men, while us women soaked up the sun around the pool. Perfect amount of sun or shade, whichever preferred. We ate outdoors all the time. Double kayak was tons of fun. Loved the bikes too!!! Meredith was promptly responsive for any of our questions. Idea location as well! Walked or rode bikes to the beach daily. Great Stay

We have stayed at many Marathon VRBO's in the past and this place is at the top of the heap. Great location, great pool area. Kitchen well stocked with quality utensils. No steps to climb was a plus. Even caught a tarpon off the dock one day. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay!

Great Stay in Marathon

Marathon was a fantastic destination for our family of 4 with so much activity within reach. The Tingler retreat was a fantastic place to stay, and we had more privacy than expected on the canal! The accomodations were very comfortable, and the house was great. We really enjoyed the outdoor living spaces. Everything was as expected from the photos in the add, with the exception the bikes older and rusty, as well as all the fishing poles broken. We bought fishing poles anyway, so these wouldn't stop me from renting again. We kayaked and walked to the public beach - Sombrero, which was fantastic for sunset viewing and swimming. There is access to miles of sidewalks for running and biking. We caught a few fish in the canal as well.

Amazing Vacation Stay!!!

Lovely home. The pool area is amazing. We even had a mama and baby manatee visit us. Plenty of sun and shade (huge tiki hut with shaded seating) The house was loaded with plenty of amenities. Kitchen, baths, and laundry room were all stocked. Beds were super comfortable as was the living room and kitchen seating. We were a group of three couples. We each had a private full bath.

Everything about this property was absolutely amazing!! The setting and location were perfect. We rode the bikes to breakfast almost every morning. We kayaked from the house. We enjoyed the pool daily. Sombrero Beach I just around the corner. Meredith went above and beyond to answer questions and fix minor issues that came up. She responded immediately and was very easy to talk to. We are already booking with her again!! Highly recommended!!!

The House with Everything!

First off this is the second year booking with pineapple property. Couldnā€™t ask for a better rental agency. House was very clean , just as described and the perfect location just steps from sombrero beach . The house is well equipped with anything you need from cooking , cleaning even fishing . GORGEOUS property!!!

We stayed April 1-8 and LOVED this property! We have rented over a dozen homes all over the country and I can say without hesitation, this was the best appointed property we have had the pleasure of renting. The kitchen is organized and has everything you need. Including cleaning and paper products. The paper products are the good kind, paper towels and toilet paper are not cheap and useless. Cleaning products are all provided, and again, all of it was what I would buy, not just the bottom of the line options. The beds are comfortable, especially the king in the master :) The pool is amazing, worth it to pay to heat it. We spent several days just lounging in and around the pool and it was awesome. There are a couple of curly tailed lizards (we named them Kevin and Carol) that have clearly learned what meal time means. The minute we had a meal at the lovely dining area outside, they were right there and ready to snap up the tiny bits of fruit or shrimp we would toss their way. We LOVED them!! Finally - Meredith is THE BEST property manager we have ever worked with - hands down. She is super responsive, and answers any questions promptly and was so friendly. She also gave us a head's up when she was not going to be available and who would be if we needed anything. That was a first for us. She really goes above and beyond to ensure you are completely satisfied. Highly recommend all the way around.

Annual Spring Vacation

This was our second year in a row at Tingler Retreat. House is immaculate. We love the location because we also rent a boat and can tie up right behind the house in a very protected canal. Pool is great. We spend almost no time indoors. Kitchen has everything you need. Great place!

Something for Everyone!

The Marathon property was great! The home was spacious- wonderful kitchen for the cooks and bartenders in our family! Daily bike rides, kayak trips, paddle-boarding, and fishing. Great luck catching fish off the canal deck in the mornings and evenings. Comfy outdoor loungers for the readers and sun seekers. Manatees, a wide variety of birds and fish, and green iguanas for the nature lovers. Huge plus was the easy navigation for our 90-year-old mother. One step into the home, one step to the pool deck and easy steps and railing into the pool. We paid extra for the heated pool- temperature was perfect! Handy location- easy trip to Publix, Sombrero Beach, and Marathon Deli and Liquor for a fabulous Italian Sub! Thank you to Meredith, Pineapple Properties- terrific communication and attention to detail. Lovely property- enjoyed our two weeks!

Meredith is a Property Manager and owns Pineapple Properties of the Florida Keys. She is thrilled to represent the owners. Meredith is a fifth-generation native Floridian, Meredith's first visit to the Florida Keys was 35 years ago when she was 18 years old. She went sport fishing with the legendary Captain Skip Bradeen in Islamorada, explored the islands from Key Largo to Key West, and was hooked! Meredith, her husband Barry, a realtor, and their children enjoyed vacationing in the keys for many years and after raising their family in Winter Park, Florida, Barry and Meredith moved here full time!
