The sugar-white sand and gentle Gulf waters are just steps away from the front door of Bet's Kept Secret, a lovely three-bedroom vacation home along the beaches of Coastal Alabama. This Fort Morgan, Alabama vacation home offers ample space for 10 vacationers.

Enjoy covered parking on the first floor of this elevated home. The second floor, or main level of the house, features a large deck serving up partial views of the Gulf of Mexico. This will quickly become your favorite place to unwind and spend time with your friends or family members. The kitchen comes fully-equipped with upscale, stainless steel appliances and all of the cookware needed to create a savory meal at home. Gather around the dining room table and enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Take a short walk across the street to the beach and soak up rays of sunshine while you recline in the sand. When you need to cool off, go for a swim in the mild gulf waters. Before heading out to explore the coast of Alabama, visit our Gulf Coast Blog for a list of popular restaurants, shops, golf courses and more. Great getaway

My family and I spent a few days during Spring Break. The house was newly renovated and very clean. It was spacious and was in a great location. We had a wonderful time.

Amazing for a family vacation

My family stayed down here for a week in June of 2014 and we loved every minute of it! The house was beautiful, the closeness to the beach was great, and the area was absolutely amazing. The drive into town was quite a long one but worth it. I highly recommend this house to anyone and everyone who would want to visit fort morgan

Yes, I agree. Fort Morgan, with its uncrowded, white sandy beaches, lack of commercialism, relaxed ambiance, lazy streets, and family friendly environment make the 20 minute drive into town worth it! The area possesses a charm unlike most other beach destinations! So glad to have you back again!

perfect getaway

your house was top notch we enjoyed everything about it. The views and short walk to the water was great. We got to see the blue angels flying over three days in a row it was a great show, the came right over the shoreline doing all kinds of tricks, we didnt even have to leave the front deck. We look forward to going back next year

Wonderful!

We loved our stay at Mim's Whim. The house was just as pictured and had everything we needed. Miriam was more than attentive before and during our stay. The house is perfectly located close to the beach. We loved having the opportunity to make family memories at Mim's Whim. I would highly recommend staying at Mim's Whim.

We update our online pics twice a year to ensure that our guests have an accurate depiction of what Mim's Whim actually looks like-- although most of our guests tell us that they are pleasantly surprised to find that our home is larger than it appears to be in our pictures. The house itself is a comfortable layout with its open kitchen which lends itself to wonderful, warm family/friends gatherings. We try to make every effort to ensure that our guests' needs are met and it is very rewarding to us to hear back from our guests that they've had a wonderful vacation with lots of fun memories!

Loved Mim's Whim

We loved this house. Very short walk to the beach. Drive to town wasn't bad. We managed to do everything we wanted to do. Dauphin Island was a neat place to visit. Planning on staying at Mim's Whim in the future.

First annual summer getaway

Absolutely Outstanding!!! A cozy beach home with all the amenities and great layout. What a way to recharge, rest, and relax. And the fireworks on the beach were another plus!!! Don't forget to stop by Tacky Jack;s and Acme Oyster House.....

Girls Spring Break Get Away

Absolutely loved Mim's Whim!!! The house was spotless and comfortable. Everything you could possible need for a great get away was available at the house including beach toys, umbrella, and chairs. The view from the front porch each morning was fantastic. We can't wait to come back and stay again! If you are looking for a great place to stay this is it!

Winter Getaway

We spent Jan & Feb at Mim's Whim and found it to be exactly as described. The house was comfortably furnished and the kitchen well stocked. The beach was not crowded and just a short walk across the street. The owners were great to deal with when problems arose. Would definately recommend this property.

Exceptional week!!!!!

I would like to you for allowing us to stay in your house for a great week. It was even better than described on the site. Everything was terrific, from the beach to the fully stocked kitchen, nice bathroom linens and probably one of the best beds we have ever slept in away from our own. Definately a first class vacation spot. We will be back!!!!

Great Vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation at Mim's Whim! The house was beautifully decorated and created an environment of a true "home away from home" feeling. The neighborhood was friendly, safe and yet spacey enough to feel like you have your own piece of "tropical heaven". I plan to use every year! Sandy M.

The quaint neighborhood resembles a picture postcard with its colorful rows of houses. The sights and sounds of children rushing out to greet the ice cream man as he makes his way down the street each day is reminiscent of times gone by and adds to the charm of the area.

Mims Whim

My family and I just returned from our stay at Mins Whim. We had the best time, and this house is perfect! Amazing views, on the beach, lots of room, and the owners are amazing to work with! The house was even better in person; the pictures don't do it justice! So clean and very warm and inviting. We felt right at home! Would not hesitate to stay again and plan to do so!

Good times at Mim's Whim!

Perfect vacation at Mim's Whim. The porch is ideal...esp. if you have children. Good view of the beach and to listen to the waves. Beds are super comfortable! Recommend shopping at Wal-Mart and Publix and cooking in. Kitchen is stocked with pots, pans and dishes. Highly recommend!

incredible bang for the buck!

Mim's Whim is where you want to stay if you want all the amenities of the larger beachfront homes without the price. The home is gorgeously decorated and fully stocked with everything you'll need to make a great vacation complete. It has an excellent floorplan and is all on one level which is very convenient. Only steps from the beach, we never had to pack up a cooler and lug it to the shore. For the fishermen, it is only 2 miles to the boat launch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return again.

Excellent Stay

Mims Whimm was excellent. The house was awesome and clean. Beds were very comfortable. The box of beach toys and chairs were a plus as we didn't have to pack this stuff! We left our canopy up all week on beach and didn't have to worry about anyone bothering it. The owners of the house were very nice and personally emailed us to check on our stay, both upon arrival and after we made it back home. When we go to gulf shores again we will be staying here!
