rude host extra charges for internet cameras in the back around the hot tub. kind of creepy

We do not recommend this guest to other hosts. Our house rules were broken from the start of their stay, and when we tried to be accommodating (even though we did not need to be), we were met with hostility. We regret not having Vrbo interfere and cancel their stay. In regard to our security cameras, they are only located outside of the door for safety purposes. No cameras near the hot tub as that is against Vrbo policy. This property offers a wonderful, private getaway for guests!

This place is amazing! Super comfy for my husband and I. The only thing was a clogged shower drain. We wound up using tub covers to keep from showering in old standing water. We still very much enjoyed our stay, we will return and recommend Holtheim for couples or small families. Be sure to check out Laurel Hills while in the area.

We had to clean the place because of dirt cobwebs and stuff. The shower curtain needs to be replaced. The TV buff. I was thankful you had a DVD player and DVD to watchThe hot tub was nice. We enjoyed the fire pit. Plus it was close to my sister cabin. Which was really nice. Thank you

Thank you for the feedback from your stay at our property! The housekeeper was there a few days before your arrival, so I am not sure how much dirt/cobwebs could accumulate in that time. We would have been happy to re-clean if it was not up to your standard, but we did not hear from you during your stay to remedy the issue. Same with the TV - if you were having issues we would have been happy to assist if we knew about it! The local contact that we provide to you is for these very reasons, we can't fix what we don't know about. For future stays, please reach out during your stay for assistance!

Very cozy housing for me and some grinds for a ski trip weekend! The hot tub was a perfect amenity and the kitchen helped cook a few good meals at night.

Awesome place to stay close to hiking and the slopes. We loved everything about it and would definitely stay again in the future. Was great to unplug, relax, and enjoy the hot tub and gave the feeling of being away.

The location is very nice. It is definitely off the beaten path. The house was nice and with only a few exceptions, it was very clean. We were a bit disappointed that both the fireplace and hot tub were not working properly. Those were two things that we were looking forward to using. The kitchen is equipped for making simple meals. The property is beautiful and the house is recently updated.

Thanks for staying with us! The property is certainly off the beaten path - providing ample privacy for guests! We apologize that these amenities were not working properly for your stay. The local operations manager was able to fix the fireplace after your stay, but the hot tub was in working order when he went to address it, so not sure what the issue you experienced was.

Nice cabin with relaxing stream close to the outdoor amenities (Hot tub and fire pit). Accessible location with easy access to attractions in the laurel highlands.

Wonderful couple weekend location.

Adorable property in a quiet and relaxing setting. We loved every minute of our stay. Only issue is zone 2 of the hot tub seems to not be working.

Thank you for the review and your feedback. We only set out sheets if there are 5 or 6 guests as part of a reservation; so, based on your reservation it made sense that these were not set out. We can certainly look into adding more towels though. Thank you!

Great cabin tucked away between two spring fed creeks.The last mile to the house is a very well graded and maintained dirt road that is easy to navigate as long as there is no snow.Really enjoyed the delicious spring fed water supplying the house.The property manager was extremely responsive and came to shovel and plow the foot of snow we got during our stay.There is a great selection of DVDs to watch at the house and the hot tub worked well.My only complaint is the house smelled a bit musty which may have been due to ice damming.

Thanks for the wonderful review! We are happy to hear you enjoyed your time at the property and that our team was able to assist when needed. The owner does a great job of keeping the home well-stocked for guests to enjoy all of the comforts of home, and the hot tub is always a great bonus! The property can have a bit of a musty smell from time to time, given the location under the canopy of trees - we love the privacy that the trees offer so are working on a solution for this!

Great ski trip

The inside is very cozy and open with a well equipped kitchen. Everything you need for a weekend getaway is there. The cabin is secluded and very quiet, making for a relaxing time in the hot tub outside. Very happy with our stay
