Enjoy a coupleā€™s getaway at our Sweetheart Cabin! This studio style cabin is located in Somerset, PA just minutes away from Hidden Valley Resort and Kooser State Park. Cozy up indoors by the fireplace, or explore our outdoor amenities including a spacious deck, hot tub, fire pit, and grill! The Sweetheart Cabin is tucked away off Route 31 so year-round access is possible even in the snowy months.

Please note this cabin sits at approximately 2700 feet elevation. Guests MUST have AWD/4WD to stay here from Nov 1-March 31st. Guests that fail to abide by this advice will get stuck and be disappointed.

This is the most adorable cozy little cabin that Iā€™ve ever seen! We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect to relax and unwind. I would love to return in October when the leaves change!

Quick stay

We stayed at the sweetheart cabin for two nights to ski at Seven Springs. Overall the experience was great, the cabin has everything needed to relax and enjoy yourself.

Romantic Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. My fiance and I stayed here when in town for a snowboarding trip to nearby Seven Springs and Hidden Valley. The property was exactly as described. Cozy and rustic. The hot tub was a huge bonus. Hosts communicated instructions very well prior to arrival and made our check in and stay easy and stress free. We plan to be back at some point in the future.

Great little place, nice location and the owner and lease manager were both great to work with. Definitely recommend a 4WD car if you are planning on bad weather!

Getaway for our Anniversary

The property was great, itā€™s cozy with a great deck on back, we ate breakfast outside every morning. Centrally located in Laurel Highlands, it was a resonable distance from Fallingwater and Flight 93 memorial, waterfalls and covered bridges. Owners responded promptly to questions and were friendly and helpful.

Cute and Rustic

The cabin was so very cute and we loved the rustic setting and decor. It was very private and perfect for a relaxing weekend. We did not realize that the check in details were included as a link in the message sent from the host through VRBO. So that was a little confusing but once that was figured out check in was easy. Once we got in the cabin it was freezing but there was a space heater and electric fireplace. We also found the thermostat was set at 60 degrees so we turned it up to 70. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends.

Great Couples Getaway

The cabin was super inviting. It had a true charming country feel inside and out! The hot tub was the cherry on the top! We were able to have our pup with us and there were dog dishes there! There are other cabins in the area . There is more then enough space. There was a trail right into the state park.The property owerss stopped by to make sure everything met our needs and were super nice! Just a great little get away Thanks it was much needed!

Perfect for a quiet getaway

This property is adorable and upgraded for your comfort. We came in the beginning of March and enjoyed a clean and beautiful hottub with a nice forest view, and were nice and warm cuddled up on the couch or bed watching a movie before bed. Lots of walling trails, waterfalls and parks to see. We love it! We look forward to coming back during another season to enjoy again! Thank you!

The place took my heart ā¤ļø Slightly disappointed that it didnā€™t seem swept inside and found quite a few outside lights were broken and a left behind air of someoneā€™s pants. šŸ‘– otherwise it was a serene stay and very relaxing. It has a hot tub but we didnā€™t use it as it was too chilly. All around loved this lil nook very very much and hope to come back šŸ„°

We booked a stay for our anniversary and was excited at the prospect of a romantic getaway cozing up next to the fireplace. Pulling up to the cabin we were greeted with trash heaped by it. Thank god we didn't stop for firewood because the fireplace was an electric unit... The bed was very uncomfortable, it saged in the middle and felt like it sloped. The flannel sheets were all pilled up and super itchy. The hottub had bits of biofilm floating. We ran it through a couple cycles but did not improve. The bathroom has a sewage smell coming up from the bathroom sink. Half of the towels provided had a mildewy smell. The decor was very cute inside, so whoever did that did a great job and did have a smart tv, so we could sign into netflix. The kitchen was fully stocked so could cook whatever you plan to. In short, not romantic at all but a good place to stay if its for one or just was access to the resort or parks near by.
