The unit has a bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, flat screen TV and private bathroom with shower/tub; two bunk beds in a hallway alcove; a 2nd bathroom with shower; and open concept full size kitchen with all new full size stainless steel appliances; dining area and living room with a sleeper sofa.

Located right on the beach, this spacious one bedroom two bath condo has breathtaking Gulf views, updated floors and appliances and sleeps six. Decorated in soothing designer colors with a coastal feel, the unit has a bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, flat screen TV and private bathroom with shower/tub; two bunk beds in a hallway alcove, a 2nd bathroom with shower, and open concept full size kitchen with all new full size stainless steel appliances, dining area and living room with a sleeper sofa. Being on the 2nd floor means you have fabulous unobstructed views of the Gulf for miles! Plus this unit touts the convenience of the 2nd floor if you like avoiding the elevator and the view feels like you are right on the beach!

We've equipped the bathrooms with new fluffy white towels and high end eco-friendly toiletries, including lotion. All mattresses are fully encased in bed bug proof covers. In addition to a coffee maker, blender and toaster, the kitchen has all the basics you need to whip up family favorite recipes or a romantic dinner on the balcony. The living room is a great place to entertain with comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV. The balcony is a perfect spot to watch the sunrise over a cup a coffee or watch it set with a glass of wine while listening to the soothing ocean waves. Plus, you'll have access to all of Pelican Beach Resort's numerous amenities that include an outdoor swimming pool, indoor/outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, tennis courts, workout facilities, tiki bar, coin operated laundry facilities on each floor, and the private white sand beach! Perfect for families, couples, or business travelers - Pelican Beach Resort is ideally located right on the beach and is close to numerous shops, restaurants, spas and water parks so anything you want is just minutes away making this the perfect destination for your dream beach vacation!

Everything was very nice, clean, easy access to the pool and the beach. A cold weather front prevented use of the pool but never the less it appeared clean and well maintained. Front desk attendant was very helpful with local info, restaurant recommendations, directions.Host and management very responsive.

The unobstructed view of the beautiful ocean was wonderful. The condo was great to come back from the beach with young grandkids for meals and naps. Overall, our first family trip to Dustin was great!

Kids first time in Destin

The location and views were spectacular. Everything was exactly like the description online. Make sure you go to Gator Beach! It's a lot of fun for the whole family.Make sure to visit the boardwalk. We did an escape room there and we all had a blast! The kids also zip lined and got some henna tattoos. Bubba Gump for dinner one night is a must if you like Forrest Gump. Great atmosphere and food!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was updated, modern, and had a light coastal feel that made it very comfortable. Being on the second floor was so convenient since we could easily use the stairs each day. The location was excellent, and the resort property itself was beautiful and well maintained. Beach access was extremely close, only about a 5-minute walk (or less) from the condo to the sand.The condo also included thoughtful extras like beach chairs, an umbrella, and a small cooler, though we opted for the paid beach service during our stay through La Dolce Vita. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and we would happily return!

Loved the beachfront location. Second floor location was perfect for using the stairs and not having to wait for the busy elevator. Bunk beds were perfect for our boys (8&12). Enjoyed our stay.

Great stay

Condo was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. Loved the pool and how convenient everything was. Only thing we like to eat in and the options for cookware was slim. I know most people like to eat out, but we managed and had a wonderful time. We would stay there again.

We were really happy with the place and all the amenities within the place. Highly recommend this rental place! Construction was going on but this is to be expected vacationing in the off season.

Relaxing on the beach

Clean with plenty of room to relax. Beautiful views from the balcony. Balcony was under construction, but we had been warned and were still able to enjoy the views in the evenings and early mornings.

Nice place

The condo was great and just as pictured. The only thing that was disappointing was the balcony wasn't accessible until the last 2 days due to construction on the building. That is understandable I just wish I had known that this was taking place and that the main pool was closed the entire time. Also, the staff was actually rude and not helpful when I asked about the parking permit.

Great location and beautiful view.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The Pelican Beach Resort is in a great location, central to everything. The condo itself had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. It was decorated nicely and simply. We liked that there were multiple pools and the tiki bar cafe on site. Areas that could be better: The master suite bed was lumpy, creaky and not the most comfortable. Walls are quite thin. We'd wake early with the sound of construction work in the building and fall asleep late with the sound of the kids next door. The vacuum didn't seem to be working quite right. It would suck up dirt but then spit it back out. The stairwells and halls of the resort were often cluttered with construction debris. The good probably out weighed the bad, but we would consider other locations before staying here again.

Great for kids!

The whole facility is awesome for kiddos. Our 4 year old had a blast at the pool. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach with our 1 year olds. The condo itself was fine. They are doing work on the building and the building next door. The constant grinding was annoying but we understand the necessity. The only complaints I have are on the listing it suggests the unit has a washer and dryer but in reality it is a community washer/dryer set up. Our first day there we had a water main break which the owner was notified of but did not pass that information on to us. It broke somewhere around 12-2 am and it wasnā€™t fixed in our unit until 12 pm. With 3 young kids this is unacceptable. Then the washers were put out of commission the rest of our stay 4 more days until further notice while they fixed the issues, still not notified by owner. The condo was clean but infants had dirty feet from crawling around the floors in the first hour. I re-swept and purchased a swiffer to stay on top of it while we were there. The vacuum needs replaced it is so loud and just throws the dirt around. We will definitely stay again but in a different unit that fits our needs better. Thank you for sharing your property with us.
