Ideally located, just steps from the beach, this self-catering, completely renovated and fully equipped, one bedroom apartment will accommodate up to 4 people for a few nights or longer stays. The apartment, built inside the ancient Cascais castle wall in the picturesque and historic village center, is also walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, supermarkets, transportation, and other town services.
In case checkin time is after 8h00pm / 20h00, there is a late checkin fee of 15euros (to be paid in cash during checkin).

In case there is transfer, this late checkin fee is included in the price of transfer.

schöne Wohnung in zentraler Und lebhafter Atmosphäre

Wir haben die Wohnung oberflächlich sauber vorgefunden, aus der Küche kam übler Geruch, da ein Wasserschäden eine Tür zerstört hat. Auf unseren Hinweis wurde erneut oberflächlich geputzt, obwohl wir das wesentliche schon selber gereinigt hatten. Der Hinweis zum muffigen Geruch wurde mit dem Regen der letzten Tage entschuldigt. Abends wurde dann ein Handwerker geschickt, der die verrottete Tür reparieren sollt. Der schüttelte nur den Kopf und nahm dann die Masse für eine neue Tür. Die Bilder entsprechen durchaus der Realität, der Eingang zu einer Warm Up Lounge ca 10m gegenüber jedoch nicht, was dein ohropax Einsatz notwendig machte. Das Zentrum und der Strand sind 50 m entfernt. Alles ist recht abgewöhnt und eher ein reines Renditeobjekt. Wir haben den Strand und Cascais trotzdem genossen und möglichst wenig Zeit in der Wohnung verbracht.

Excellent Location in the Heart of Cascais

Loved our stay in Cascais and our place was so easy to everything! Loved our little balcony overlooking the street for morning coffee! It does get warm at night, so a fan in the bedroom would be a great addition!

Excellent location only 50 metres from beach and main town square. Fantastic cafe - A Leitaria - 50 metres up the road near church Comfortable twin beds, couch and chair Good facilities in general although kitchen cupboard had water damage, undersink bin was broken and we had to throw out toilet brush and replace as it was filthy! Balcony very small but great for 2 people just to sit and for drying washing Damage deposit returned in 8 working days On the whole a great place to stay. Thanks Claudia, Teresa & Jose! Van alle gemakken voorzien op een toplocatie

Prachtig appartement op een toplocatie, dichtbij de zee en het centrum. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien, heeft een wasmachine, dolce gusto koffieautomaat, vaatwasser, veel handdoeken en zelf strandspullen zoals een parasol en stoeltje. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en reageren snel. Geen enkele vraag was ze teveel. Het appartement was schoon en de bedden zijn opgemaakt. Er zijn al wat keukenspullen zoals kruiden en koffie en thee aanwezig. Ook in de badkamer staat handzeep en douchegel. Door de centrale ligging is er wel wat geluidsoverlast s nachts. Tip: zet de airco aan op je slaapkamer, hierdoor hoor je het straatgeluid veel minder.

Sehr schön für kurzurlaub

Perfekt gelegenes klein Appartement mitten in cascais. Für 2 Personen sehr geeignet, mit 2 Kindern bis 10 gehts, darüber etwas eng (ausziehsofa bietet nicht allzuviel Platz) MiniKüche und Bad okay, aber nicht mehr ganz aktuell. Nachts leider gelegentlich lärmig von gegenüber liegender Disco. Praktisch auch ohne Auto, da transfer service zum Flughafen und 35 min mit dem Zug nach Lisboa.

Inmejorable situación en elMismo centro de cascais

Buen apartamento, en el Verti neurálgico de Cascais. Descontento con la limpieza y el fuerte olor a humedad. ( supongo que por llevar cerrada desde el verano). El problema de la limpieza viene dado por una capa de polvo en toda la casa debido creo yo a llevar cerrada todo el invierno

Wondeful location

This cozy apartment is one block from the beach and a 5 min. walk to Cascais city center. It has a small terrace ideal for an evening drink. The bedroom is large and all in white and the apartment has an overall vacation feeling. One drawback is the crowd which gathers outside the neighboring nightclub to drink in the street and speak loudly.

Beautiful Apartment is a Fabulous Place

My husband and I just spent 3 nights at this apartment and it was lovely. It was so clean, an amazing location and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Dealing with Claudia and Jose was a pleasure and so easy. As a few others have stated, being in the middle of everything lends itself to having to deal with some noise. There is a nearby establishment that stays open late and can get boisterous, but we had such a wonderful visit and are so glad we stayed there. I would recommend it and Cascais is such a beautiful place.

Great stay in beautiful Cascais

Clean and efficient accommodation. Close to everything. Steps to the beach and in 15 minutes you could have walked past 5 pristine beaches. Everything pretty much in the suite. 35 minutes by car from Lisbon airport. Jose picked us up, much easier than going by train. Easy to communicate and Jose was an awesome host. Jumbo grocery store 10 min walk and suite provides a shopping cart. Kitchen a bit tight but necessities were there. Lots of towels and washing facilities. There is a bar right across the way so bring earplugs. Overall, loved it and would use the suite again. If coming in the summer check dates for festivals as we spent our week with a concert that shook the walls till midnight. Thank you Jose and Claudia

Excellent location but very noisey

The apartment is in a very central location close to everything. While it's fully equipped, safe and secure - the noise levels at night was extremely disagreeable. There is a club across from the apartment and it stays open until 4am and the crowds stand around chatting afterwards in the outside seated area. Needless to say that i had very poor sleep for the duration of my stay. It is my opinion that clients should be told of this before they book and spend their hard earned money on holidays. Enjoyed Cascais but disappointed to go home exhausted!!

We loved our stay in Cascais

The apartment in the old castle is exactly as photographed. It is very close to the beach and on a well trafficked street full of restaurants and cafes. The apartment was immaculate and the kitchen and the bathroom were very well stocked with supplies which we really appreciated.. Claudia arranged to have us picked up at the airport in Lisbon and she and Jose' went out of their way to help us when we had questions. We loved exploring Cascais and being able to bike and walk along the beautiful Atlantic coastline. The train and bus station are in walking distance from the apartment which made exploring Lisbon and Sintra very easy. Claudia helped us find a tour guide to take us to various locations which meant having a car was not a necessity. We had a lovely vacation and appreciated the help that Claudia and Jose' provided. The only issue that was a surprise to us was that the outdoor terrace is not at all private and not really usable for that reason. Other than that, the historic apartment was a great retreat and Cascais a great holiday..

Tolle Lage, schicke kleine FeWo mit Flair

Wir waren insgesamt 9 Nächte in Cascais. Die Lage der Wohnung ist traumhaft, die Einrichtung ist schön & zweckmäßig. Für zwei Personen ideal. Bei 4 Personen geht wahrscheinlich der Flair des außergewöhnlichen Wohnzimmers etwas verloren. Bzgl. der in Kommentaren erwähnten Bar: es war nur einmal etwas laut, weil wohl eine Privat-Party vor der Bar stattgefunden hat, die sich in der Bar mit Getränken versorgt hat. Ansonsten hat man nicht viel mitbekommen. Insgesamt ist die FeWo sehr zu empfehlen.

Delightful beach apartment in historic building

This is a very comfotable apartment in an excellent location. We walked to restaurants, museums,shops, parks and the train station. The apartment itself was very clean and had everything we needed: paper products, coffee and tea, soaps and condiments. The lovely patio and living room feature architectural details of the old castle but the bed, linens, plumbing, and kitchen are all up-to-date.

In Ordnung, leider laute Nachtbar nebenan

Ausstattung, Lage und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis waren in Ordnung. Wünschenswert wären ein Toaster und eine Thermoskanne. Großer Nachteil: Nebenan ist eine Nachtbar, die von 0 bis 4 Uhr nachts geöffnet und ausgesprochen laut ist.

Gemütlich und tolle Lage

Die Wohnung entspricht den Bildern. Sie ist sehr gemütlich und gleichzeitig funktional ausgestattet. Das italienische Lokal ist tatsächlich direkt gegenüber, aber uns hat das nicht gestört - man kann dennoch entspannt auf der Terrasse sitzen. Leider gab's ein Problem mit dem Geschirrspüler -deshalb einen Punkt Abzug ---- An-und Abreise vom/zum Flughafen wurde reibungslos organisiert.

Wir hatten 2 tolle Wochen

Die Lage der Wohnung ist optimal, kurze Wege zum Stadtstrand und der Altstadt. Die Wohnung war nicht so sauber wie wir es erwartet haben, dass haben wir mit der Vermieterin besprochen. Die Parksituation für den Pkw ist etwas problematisch. Im Umkreis von 1km gibt es nur gebührenpflichtige Parkplätze. Trotzdem war das Gesamtpaket so gut, dass wir auch ein zweites Mal unseren Urlaub hier verbringen würden.

Sehr nett und zentral

Uns hat es nicht nur in Cascais sondern auch in dem kleinen Appartmenet sehr gut gefallen. Für 2 Personen ideal - für 4 unserer Meinung nach zu klein. Besonders, weil das Schlafen im Wohnraum einfach zu laut ist durch die Geräusche der kleinen Straße und des gegenüberliegenden Restaurants sowie einer Bar mit Nachtschwärmern. Die Terasse ist zwar sehr klein aber nett - liegt allerdings im direkten Blickfeld aller Menschen, die an der Straße entlang gehen (und das sind reichlich) und eben der Restaurantterasse gegenüber. Im Schlafzimmer ist es aber recht ruhig wegen des kleine Fensters mit Doppelglas und eines zusätzlichen Fensterladens von innen. Die Lage des Appartments ist phantastisch - alles ist sofort erreichbar: Meer, Promenade, Restaurants, Cafés, Geschäfte. Zum Bahnhof sind es ca. 10 Minuten. Dort fähtr sehr regelmßig eine S-Bahn nach Lissabon. Besonders zu empfehlen in einer der kleinen Seitenstraßen: ein (fast) reines Muschelresturant. Und für VegetarierInnen im Ortskern: the house of wonders - ein Muss!!!! Cascais und auch das Appartement sind absolut geeignet für Menschen, die eben nicht immer nur Großstadt sondern auch mal Meer und Strand haben wollen. Die Beschreibung des Appartements war zutreffend und es war sauber, der Kontakt mit Claudia im Vorfeld war sehr gut. Besonders das Angebot eines Shuttles vom und zum Flughafen hat uns gut gefallen - schnell und zuverlässig = gewonnene Urlaubszeit. Der Spaziergang an der Promenade entlang nach Estoril ist auch lohnenswert. Oder eine kleine Wanderung zum Fort und anschließend am Meer entlang. Man kann sogar auch Fahrräder mieten und dort entlang radeln. Vom Bahnhof aus kann man in einer sehr schönen Fahrt mit einem Linienbus nach Sintra fahren - absolut lohnenswert. Wenn man den 1stündigen Bus nimmt passiert dieser auch den westlichsten Punkt des europäischen Festlandes. Es gibt auch eine kürzere Verbindung über die Autobahn (30 Minuten). Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, wenn man die o.g. "Einschränkungen" in Kauf nimmt.

Pied-à-terre dans rue typique de Cascais

Petit bi-local avec l'indispensable pour un très court séjour.Arrangé avec goût. Les photos embellissent la situation. Ne cherchez pas la vue... elle est sur la terrasse du restaurant "Caffé Italia", et donc sans "privacy". Grace au passage continu de piétons, le stationnement dans la rue étroite plus les 2 restaurants plus un pub, très fréquentés et en vis-à-vis, l'étroitesse et les pavés de cette petite voie faisant caisse de résonance (même pour les voix), si vous voulez dormir la fenêtre ouverte il faut être totalement sourd ou se contenter de 2 heures de sommeil. Dommage car il est très bien situé pour se déplacer partout avec tous les moyens de transport à proximité. Petits commerces et restaurants à tous les prix à deux pas. Claudia très aimable et prête à résoudre n'importe quel problème même les insolubles!

Estive hospedado com a minha familia na Casa do CasteloII e só posso dizer que adorámos! A Marlene que fez as honras da casa, foi muito simpática e prestável tal como a Cláudia. A casa tem uma localização extraordinária, não podia ser melhor. Mesmo na data em causa (semana da pascoa) consegui sempre estacionamento à porta.O espaço é bonito, bem arranjado e limpo. Recomendo vivamente. Parabéns!

Charming rental

The location, in the center of the historical neighbourhood, was perfect, providing easy access to all kinds of amenities, activities and attractions: restaurants, grocery store, beach, museums, shopping, fado concert, etc. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and, though small, quite comfortable. The owner, Claudia, welcomed us when we arrived, and inquired on departure about our rental experience. It was easy to explore the larger area (Lisbon, Sintra, etc.) by bus and train, and we were entirely satisfied with our choice of stay. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and relatives.

A Beautiful Stay

The city was beautiful with enough to explore. The apartment was great. Only the noise from the street at night time was disturbing! And the plates too big for the dish washing mashine and the tiny table. But all in all we had a wonderful stay.

Traumhafte Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage!

Meine Freundin und ich wurden von Claudia sehr herzlich begrüßt und sogar in Cascais vom Bahnhof abgeholt und zur Unterkunft gefahren. Diese liegt perfekt fast in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Meer, nur ein paar Schritte und man ist am Wasser. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und sieht auch 100 % genauso aus wie auf den Fotos. Ein besonderes Flair entsteht durch die Burgmauer im Wohnbereich. Auch ist alles vorhanden, was man zum täglichen Leben benötigt. Cascais selbst ist ein wundervoller Urlaubsort und auch das Wetter im Oktober ist noch perfekt. Es gibt wunderbare Restaurants und Bars, hier ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die Anbindung nach Lissabon ist perfekt: ca. alle 20 Minuten fährt ein Pendelzug zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. Auch andere Regionen lassen sich sehr gut erkunden. Die Abreise fiel uns sehr schwer, aber Claudia hat uns sogar für einen sehr günstigen Preis nach Lissabon zum Flughafen gefahren. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Eine tolle Unterkunft, tolle Menschen, ein toller Ort und Claudia ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin!

Wonderful stay in Cascais

The apartment was located near everything (grocery stores, beach, restaurants), in a charming and quiet part of Cascais. The interior decoration was very tasteful and the apartment quite comfortable. The owner, Claudia, was a perfect host, both welcoming and discreet. Lisbon and Sintra were easy to reach from Cascais, and we had a wonderful evening in a local restaurant featuring excellent fado singers. A perfect vacation on all counts!
