Beautiful 3 Bedroom Vacation Property On The Water

Your entire family will have an amazing vacation at our three bedroom and two bathroom vacation rental property. Located on the water and 2 blocks from the beach with private beach access. Enjoy fishing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding right outside your door. Property includes 3 tennis courts and 3 pools (one located at the beach). Memorial Day through Labor Day enjoyed free concerts at the OIB bridge. Fish on the OIB pier and enjoy events such as the Oyster Festival in October. Allow us to provide you with your dream vacation.

Our stay was fabulous. From the moment we walked in the door we felt like we were at home. Communication was great. Perhaps our favorite feature was the covered porch. We loved having meals and chats outside as the sun came up and as the sun set.

Great place to stay!

We love staying at Starboard by the Sea - first time staying in this particular condo and it was great! Nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. And the sunset view is spectacular! Thank you for letting us stay!

Great time with friends at the beach

The place is as advertised, host communicated great, and check-in was a breeze. Felt very safe in this area - definitely a great vacation for families.

Beautiful sunsets!

Great place to relax. The sunsets were beautiful from the porch. Debbie was very responsive. Check in and check out times were great. Easy access. We love Starboard!

Perfect Quiet OIB Location

We had a great stay. Views from the condo porch are great, especially for gorgeous sunsets. Close to a pool and a couple block walk to the beach. Private beach front pool and beach access are a nice touch. Beds are comfortable and host is very quick to respond to any questions.

2nd stay was just as nice.

This is the second time we have stayed at this condo. We love the view of Jinx Creek from the porch, the short walk to the beach, and the beach-front swimming pool. We hope to come back again some time.

Super nice location and very pleasant experience

You cannot be at the location with quick access to the beach and magnificent sunsets over jinx creek in the evening. We took advantage of the extra amenities like kayaking. The place is a great layout and very clean and well decorated. The owner is very helpful. Highly recommend this property.

My children and I enjoyed our stay at the condo. Everything we needed was provided as the unit was well-stocked. It was clean and neat. The beauty of the surroundings was a plus. Breathtaking sunset views!

Incredible ICW View

We were on a large family vacation, and it was wonderful to get away in the evenings to enjoy the sanctity of this beautiful condo on the intracoastal waterway. The view from the porch with a morning coffee and the sunset with a cocktail were incredible bookends to our week at OIB. I highly recommend this condo - it was very clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. We would 100% rent the same unit in the future.

OIB Summer 2023

Our family very much enjoyed our stay in this condo. The location is absolutely breathtaking. The seating on the deck is perfect for reading and dining. The kitchen is fully stocked and the refrigerator has an ice maker. The layout of the unit worked well for our family. We enjoyed the pool closest to the unit and the ocean front pool.

Family reunion/Oyster Festival

While our stay was very enjoyable and we loved the location, there were some minor issues. Upon arrival, there were roaches in several rooms; floor had a good deal of sand or dirt on it; there was no toilet paper in bathrooms [maybe 1/ 3 of roll]and no soap. Otherwise, our stay was very nice.

Peaceful view of the sound

We loved everything about this property and will definitely look to visit again. We were worried upon arrival because the sound was muddy and smelly, but soon the tide came back in and that became our favorite part of the whole trip! Beautiful, peaceful views and perfect for our kayaks. The mattress in the master was a bit firmer than we expected, but that was the only struggle. The pools are perfect at the end of a day on the beach and we rode our bikes all over the place! Very comfortable home and we loved our first experience on the sound side.

Family wedding weekend

The owners had good information via email prior to our arrival. All the process of check in was well explained. However due to the recent pass the hurricane both locks on door had been placed by the condo administration and only one key was in the lockbox. We panicked for about 20’ tried calling the owner without respond. The owners where out of the country in a different time zone and still returned our call soon after and managed to give us both keys to enter the condo. We appreciate it very much they where very kind and we spent a great weekend celebrating our nephews wedding!! Desiree

Golf/Beach Trip

Brother-in-law and I played in a 2 day tournament and wives went to the beach. On 3rd day, we all played a round at Brunswick Plantation. I initially missed clicking on Bedroom details to find that we needed to bring our own Bedroom linens and towels. Fortunately, I found Deborah's message on VRBO message board. Had initial issue with TV and called owners. Finally reset the power on the Firestick to be able to get to YouTube TV. Suggestion to have Information book in the unit to give directions to pools, TV's, keys hanging inside door, location of kayaks and other items, plus suggestions/locations of local restaurants. We had been to Ocean Isle twice before, so had most of it covered. Only downside for wives was distance back to condo if needed to use restroom. Overall a very nice condo and easy to reach owners if needed.

Great Location, Not Clean

View is great and the condo is tastefully/ beautifully decorated, however, the condo was not clean. Upon arrrival, there was food on the floor, thick black dust on the ceiling fans, hair in the shower drains, sand in the tubs, and spoiled food in the sink. The mattresses are cheap, uncomfortable mattresses with a think layer of pillow top/foam in an effort to add comfort. The mattress covers are soiled and do not fit the thin mattresses/ foam pillow tops. We even found a dirty bandaid stuck to the mattress. The condo needs a deep cleaning. Even after a quick cleaning, additional dirty items were found throughout the stay (i.e. food in the couch cushions, dirty silverware, etc.) Very disappointing and unfortunate because the condo itself has a great view and the decor is very nice.

We're a family of 6. My husband and I have been coming to OIB since our 1st summer together in 1986. All our children grew up here. We purchased our first property here after renting on the sound for many years in 2004 with other family members. By 2015 we had outgrown the condo next door and since this condo was available we decided to sell our share in the other unit and purchase this one. We're excited to share our beach home with you and hope that you will love it as much as we do.

Our 2 single kayaks are available with the paddles and life jackets.
There are 4 beach chairs available for your use as well as an umbrella, boogey board and sand toys.
There is a yoga matt, 8 lb hand weights and a tension cord too.
