Tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood of Chiwawa Pines, the 3,000 sf cabin offers a relaxing setting and picturesque views of the mountains.
Fast fiber optic Internet - perfect for isolation and working from home
With its 4 bedrooms and a large basement the cabin has plenty of room. The master suite on the main floor features a king bed and a large bathroom with a jet tub. The three upstairs bedrooms offer a queen beds and one has additional double bunk bed. The entertainment room in the basement has a twin over full bunk bed, another twin bed and a futon.
In addition to the master bathroom, the house has a full bathroom on the upper and lower floors and 0.5 bathroom on the main floor.
The living room with its huge windows provides a spectacular view of the mountains, luxury seating and easy access to the deck. It is equipped with a gas fireplace creating warm and cozy atmosphere for your group to enjoy. Large TV, fiber optic Internet and free WiFi access allow you to watch anything from Disney movies to sports – whatever you feel like. Basic cable, Roku with Netflix, Amazon Video and other channels and Chromecast are connected.
The kitchen offers modern appliances, plenty of dishware, a full set of pans and cookware and a large refrigerator. There is also a gas BBQ grill on the deck right outside the dining area.
The large entertainment room downstairs offers a pool table, an air hockey table, plenty of board games and a large TV with a karaoke machine for those vocally inclined. It is an ideal place for kids to have fun and make some noise without disturbing the peace and quiet of the parents upstairs.

Mountain Springs Lodge is 5 minutes away with snowmobile rentals, a restaurant and sleigh rides. In summer months you can schedule horseback rides at Mountain Springs or hike some of the many nearby trails. In the tiny town of Plain, you will find Just Plain Grocery and Plain Hardware, a store with a surprising selection of garden, home, and personal accessories

Wonderful Family Retreat!

My family and I had an amazing stay! House was very warm, cozy, clean and well stocked with supplies. Beds were all very comfortable. My kids especially loved the basement with the pool table and air hockey table. Bonus was there were beds downstairs so it felt like they had their own space! We enjoyed karaoke and the hot tub. I think it would be nice if there were specific towels for the hot tub so we didn’t have to use the bathroom towels we use after pit shower. The backyard has a hill so my kids made a sledding area and sledded for hours! Lots to do and I would definitely to stay again in the future!

Leavenworth Holiday

Overall the property is fine. The kitchen is nice sized and well stocked with utensils and all of the appliances worked. The bathrooms were fine, with clean towels. The basement with the air hockey and pool table was a well used area. A few notes:1. The parking area is a little tight for 3 vehicles but we managed.2. The bedding on some of the beds was not clean.3. Some of the pillows were very thin providing little pleasure to the sleeping experience.4. There was mold on the bottom of the master bedroom shower but we used some clorox wipes and cleaned it up. 5. The BBQ on the deck was questionable when I first opened it and fired it up but it worked fine for what we needed.

Comfy Large Cabin

It's a surprisingly large cabin in a very scenic setting. Five couples stayed three days and floated the river and enjoyed Lake Wenatchee. Well equipped kitchen, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Very enjoyable.

Wonderful retreat

We had a great time in a beautiful home with a truly well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for everyone to hangout together but also enough space for everyone to have their privacy.

Great snowy getaway for family.

Close to good xc skiing and snowshoeing. Quiet. Lovely view to backyard. Hot tub a real bonus as was the gas fireplace. Kitchen well equipped for holiday cooking. Good space, bedrooms/ bathrooms for 3 adult couples.

3 nights stay

Globaly good stay, but some negative points : living room deceptive compared to the pictures, not enough blankets, explanations of the owner not understandable. Alarm for sceptic system rang several times, even during the night. Owner has been informed but did not give any answer.

Amazing weekend away!

Great place for a group!

I rented this for my 50th birthday with family and friends. We REALLY appreciated that the place was amenable to dogs and charged a one-time fee -- we had several, so other places that charge per-pet, per-night get SO expensive for us. Huge selling point. It also has lots of sleeping accommodations within a reasonable price, which was awesome for our group. People were able to gather in the common spaces and outside, but also have their own space when needed. Everyone commented on how great of a house it was for our gathering. Though not close to Leavenworth (which was actually a plus for us), it is close to horseback riding and ziplines. We also did a trip with Orion Rafting, which was only 20 minutes away. The weather was too hot to enjoy the hot tub, but we had a blast playing air hockey. The table can be a little sticky, but still fun. The backyard is level so we were able to set up some games we brought with us, like badminton and cornhole. The basement area was a bit smelly/musty, but it didn't bother the people who slept down there (I have a more sensitive nose than most people), and I figure that comes with the territory when a place allows dogs, so no complaints -- just letting people know in case they have sensitivities. A/C worked well, as did all appliances, etc. The only thing we couldn't get to work was the karaoke machine, but it didn't matter -- we just pulled up karaoke tunes on YouTube and used a Bluetooth speaker. Great place overall and would rent again!

Amazing stay

The house was amazing. Had everything we needed to just relax and enjoy friends and games. 30 minutes from Leavenworth which we enjoyed a full day of also. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Snowy fun with family

We had a great visit with our adult kids and partners in mid-February. The property is a very short drive to an extensive system of groomed cross-country trails maintained by a group in Plain Valley. Some of us rented equipment at the friendly store in Plain, and we were able to purchase our trail passes on our phones (the passes can be stored on a Wallet app). The house is comfortable and large, and the kitchen is equipped with a generous supply of pans and utensils. The hot tub was delightful and especially soothing after a day of skiing. The hosts responded quickly to several questions I had as I planned for our trip. I hope to return next year with our family!

Snow lovers paradise on Nee Year’s weekend

The house is larger and more accommodating then we expected. The kitchen was totally stocked with everything needed to prepare and serve meals. Lots of extra spices for cooking! We had a 3mo old and 3yr old and our adult children and we all had a wonderful time on the main level and the downstairs is totally set up for pool and air hockey and a few extra beds/bunks. Great communication from the owners. First time staying in the Plain area and it’s gorgeous. Thanks!!

Great Winter Getaway

Christmas getaway

Property was clean and had a beautiful view! Lives more like a house than a cabin. Fun rec room with air hockey and pool table. Heating throughout the levels was varied. No ice. 30 minute drive to downtown.

Family time

This place was big and perfect for our family of 15. Plenty of space for everyone and lots of things to do between the air hockey table, the pool table and the hot tub. My only complaint was that there were a few cleanliness issues and the beds were pretty uncomfortable.

The property was beautiful! All 13 of us ladies had a marvelous time! Owner was quick to clean the hot tub due to a dead frog! We would book this house again.

Cabin in the woods

The house was very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. A lot of the furniture was worn but clean. We didn’t spend that much time there because we were at wedding festivities.

A quiet retreat

This is a well equipped house and a very relaxing environment. There were 11 of us. The house is well suited for large families, with room to spread out. We were all able sit at the table for dinner. The lake is a short drive away and Leavenworth a only 25 miles away. We all enjoyed our stay.

Post wedding family time

We were coming off a busy week with our son’s wedding and truly enjoyed having the f as pace to relax with the huge kitchen and dining area, 4 bedrooms and hot tub. The location was perfect fir river tubing, hiking, and mountain biking. Thank you so much for the use of your home!

Leavenworth's scenic valleys and mountains offer every kind of recreation – from hiking to mountain biking, river tubing, rafting, snowmobiling, windsurfing/kiting, alpine and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, rock climbing, paddle boarding, horseback riding and many, many more. Or choose to explore the more sophisticated side of this amazing place, with wine tasting, restaurants, shops and breathtakingly beautiful drives. As crazy as it sounds, we’ve done it all and will be happy to share best kept local secrets with our guests.
