This condo sleeps 4 and overlooks the Courtyard, Pool, and Beautiful Emerald Green Waters dancing in the background.

This condo has a large bedroom with a queen bed. The living room and bedroom both offer views of the Gulf. The living room offers a flat screen tv and a queen sleeper sofa. Enjoy a home cooked meal in your fully stocked kitchen. This unit also offers a washer/dryer.

The room was not equipped with enough utinsels. We got 2 dish rags and 3 wash rags for a week stay. It wasn’t the cleanest. The vents on roof look moldy and nasty.

Beautiful condo

The condo we rented was #25 in the tradewinds. It was beautifully remodeled and supplied everything you need. Directly across the street from Pompano Joe's and public beach access. Great location. Several shops and restaurants in the area.

Location was lovey!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this unit was fantastic! Super close to the beach, convenient to Pompano Joes. We stayed here for 4 nights for a quick get away before school resumes. Condo was clean and comfortable.

Great location

Nice small property and we really enjoyed Miramar Beach/Destin. Although this is an older property, they have done a nice job of updating appliances, fixtures, etc. Things that would have made the stay better (items that should have been supplied): potholders, knife set (only had steak knives-none for chopping), cutting board, ice cube trays in the freezer as there was no ice maker, bottle opener, blackout shades/curtains - I was glad I packed a sleep mask. There seemed to be an issue with the dryer; it took 4-5 cycles to dry a load of laundry. After I ran my last load, I noticed a couple of dryer sheets (from a previous renter) that were stuck in the dryer and removed them - didn't dry anything after that so I'm sure if removing the sheets help this issue. A couple of other renters were very loud outside around 2 a.m. on a couple of nights; this is not the property manager's fault though. Note: this is a 2nd floor unit and there is no elevator - we were glad we brought several smaller suitcases instead of a couple of large ones as carrying large suitcases up the stairs could have been difficult.

Overall review

To start the PM reached out and text all the information needed for my husband. Mentioned early checkin but flight was later. She mentioned giving us late check out the day we were leaving instead but never responded to any communication the day before. As far as the place- the location was great. Things to keep in mind if you stay here… Bed is not comfortable They don’t use softener on the sheets so everything is crispy not soft. The bathroom and kitchen table still had hair from the previous people. The bathroom floor and shower had the majority of it. So seemed gross to walk in and have to see that. They only give you one towel each so brining extras would be helpful. Make sure you bring a sleep mask- the curtains are sheer and do not block light. It comes up at 5:45 so be ready to wake up! The curtains also do not cover the entire door. So if you are changing in the bedroom make sure the lights are off at night because everyone outside can see in the unit. There was an oven but no oven mitt. There was an iron but nothing to iron on.

Summer vaca

I found this property at the last minute. It was perfect. I do recommend it to everyone. Right across the street from beach and close to everything we needed. Only issue I had was the AC. I’m used to putting mine on 64 at night but that one you can’t and I didn’t even try. It was good the second night but the third night it was hot. But all in all a great place.

The Perfect Beach Condo

I LOVE Tradewinds#25! Enjoyed a three-month stay here over the winter and this condo is perfectly located and furnished for enjoying a beach vacation that actually feels like a vacation. It’s only steps away from the most beautiful section of beach in Fort Walton County and the Gulf can be seen from the balcony, from the bedroom and even from the couch. The bed is so comfortable that I’m missing it now and even the couch offered comfortable sleeping for when my family visited. The bed linens were a high thread count and super comfortable and the towels were thick, fluffy and thirsty. The kitchen is set up with high quality appliances and plenty of cookware, dishes, utensils and small appliances to make meal preparation easy. If you’re into yoga, the bedroom offers plenty of space to roll out your mat and stretch in all directions. Even the pictures hanging on the wall add to the experience; capturing and reflecting the views and wildlife found in the area (the painting of the sanderlings in the bedroom is my personal favorite). This condo is, quite simply, perfect. The Tradewinds condos are spacious and the complex itself is smaller than the others around it (an advantage). The grounds are well maintained and the assigned parking spaces are generous in their width. The Beach Bums rental management reps are responsive and exceptionally good at customer care, so you can trust them to take care of you and help make your stay a good one. Located directly on the scenic gulf front road and in between shopping and restaurants to the east and the west, this condo is perfectly situated for easy access to everything you’ll need for a fun and relaxing stay on one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Can’t wait to go back.

Found this property last minute and loved it!! Exactly as pictured. Great location right across from the beach! Perfect for my friends and I. Updated and very beachy! Clean with most of the basic features and amenities. Will definitely stay here again!!

Great stay! Unit 25 Tradewinds.

Tradewinds is literally across the street from Pompano Joe's and beach access. It was a very short walk and there is beach chair rental available. The condo was clean and well kept. My only concerns are the bed size and bathroom shower curtain. The bed really is not big enough for 2 adults to sleep comfortably. The shower curtain is not long enough to keep water from splashing out. Its hung very high. New curtains in the windows wouldn't hurt as the ones there looked a bit worn and dingy. These are minor things compared to our overall stay. The property is well kept. I noticed the pool was cleaned each day. Our condo was clean and cozy. Location was perfect for beach access, shopping, and food. We would definitely stay again.

We loved it

We had a fantastic time in Destin. The condo at Tradewinds 2 was very nice and was so comfortable. It had everything we might have needed during our stay, had everything in the kitchen if we wanted to cook during our stay. I loved where it was located. It was right across the street from the beautiful beach and a seafood restaurant. I would stay there again for sure.
