Greens Villa #108 - 2 bedrooms Near Ocean

The Greens 108 is 2 Bedroom/2.5 Bathroom spacious updated townhouse. I King in the bedroom, two twins in guest bedroom, a sleeper sofa in the living room. It is located in the front section of The Greens (closest to the beach) with a wonderful Golf View and easy beach access. The tennis center and golf clubhouse are nearby and bike paths go right up to the entrance. The large back-deck is great for outdoor dining and provides a great view of the golf course, but close enough to the beach for breezes. The Greens condominiums are within Shipyard Plantation, a private residential and resort community. This unit is a 5 minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean, across the street from the Sonesta Resort and the Van Der Meer Tennis Academy. Guests staying at The Greens 108 enjoy dining and entertainment venues offered by the Sonesta. The Shipyard Golf Course has a unique combination 9, 18, or 27 holes available for play. Conveniently located on the South end of Hilton Head (the Island's most popular area) right outside the south gate finds you near Pope Avenue and Coligny Plaza, with colorful shops, restaurants and entertainment.

I loved the area and access to the beach was great. Though the whole island was very crowded it was not noisy and felt private.

Nicely Renovated Unit

Very nice unit that has had some recent renovations especially to the washrooms. Good location on the golf course and close to the beach.

Vacations; but they said other than pest control spraying monthly, they were taking no further action.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice condo. Well stocked and nice upgraded bathrooms. Disappointed that the grill did not work which is the one necessary item I asked about before booking the unit. Notified the rental agency and they came to inspect a couple days later and confirmed it did not work. Said they would put an order in for a new one but did not receive while we were there. Very disappointing because extremely crowded in restaurants during peak time so we like to grill most days. Will not stay in a complex without a community grill again because individual units are not reliable.

Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was in a perfect location, about a 5 minute walk to the beach. With two toddlers, it took a little longer to walk, but it was still manageable. A wagon or beach cart definitely helps! The house itself was great and very welcoming. My one main complaint is the size of the bathroom for the twin bedroom. It was a challenge trying to give the kids a bath because the door barely has enough room to open. We had to open the door, squeeze in beside the toilet, and then shut the door in order to reach the tub. Also, only one washcloth was provided for each guest, which was inconvenient. The property is accessed with a door code, which could have easily been emailed prior to our arrival, rather than having to physically go check in at the management office. Thankfully the office is not that far in distance, but traffic does make it take longer, which wastes unnecessary time. Overall, we had a wonderful week and cannot wait to return next year!

Excellent Location, perfect for family

Stayed here for a week with a family of 5. Walking distance to the beach, very clean, convenient to every where we wanted to go. Would stay again!

Diappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had high hopes from reading previous reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the unit and especially the cooking utensils. The property location was perfect- a short walk to the beach and across from tennis courts, as we play tennis. Other than, these two things, I must say I was disappointed with the rental. The place was absolutely dark, dirty furniture and a kitchen made up of clutter. It absolutely disgusted me that people could rent out a unit where you had very few utensils. I put everything in the dishwasher to clean, reorganized the cabinets, and still couldn’t find decent utensils to use for cooking. This was probably one of the most disgusting units I stayed in. I’d be ashamed to actually collect rent for this place. The outlets in the bathroom were so outdated that the hair dryer cord wouldn’t stay in the socket. Absolutely disappointed!

Greens 108 was Great

As described. Perfect location and just like other 2 bd 2 bath condos we have rented at Shipyard. Back deck and family/dining furniture could use some updating, but suited us just fine. Front porch light wasn’t working which is rough at night when heading out.

Good location

Easy walk to beach, very clean. Furniture needs updating as well as the bathrooms. Needs better lighting, rooms are dark. Kitchen nice and well supplied. Heat/air conditioning in master bedroom is extremely loud.
