Super spacious villa, fantastic pool, great location very close to QDL and VDL. Ubers are amazing in the area so unless you're going further afield then no need to hire a car. Much cheaper via Uber and only 20 mins from the airport. Nice and clean - all the facilities you need. BBQ, fully stocked kitchen and satellite TV. Great holiday

Wonderful stay

Had such a lovely holiday here! Great location, clean and tidy, would highly recommend! Will be booking it again for sure.

The villa was fabulously located for all our needs. Fabulous restaurants and golf courses nearby. It was clean, the facilities were exactly as described and the property manager could not have been more helpful.

Wonderful villa and location

Perfect property and location - would definitely return. Not too much more to say - the villa was well furnished, clean, well positioned for either sitting by the pool or wandering down to the beautiful beach. Also well within reach of the excellent restaurants.

The villa was comfortable for four adults and two young children (10 months and 3 years). Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, although a toaster would have been nice. Living and dining room were nicely furnished and comfortable.

Wonderful Villa

A great stay in a great villa. The house is really well equipped, outside area/pool very spacious and well maintained. Its a lovely neighbourhood, great location and perfect for families.

Amazing!!

Such an amazing place, exactly as pictured, if not even better. Great social spaces, lovely pool and bedroom/bathroom sizes are huge! Quite area, nice neighbours and in easy reach of supermarkets and restaurants Highly recommend this villa!!

Great location

The villa was wonderful, we enjoyed the large pool and the proximity to the beach. Thank you to the owner of the property for maintaining it impeccably. We will definitely return and let all our friends know about how great the whole experience was.

Villa Vivenda is exactly as described and more. A lovely spacious villa with everything you could need for a very enjoyable holiday. We will certainly be looking to book again next year if available.

Perfect House, Perfect Location

We stayed at this lovely house for only one week but wish we could have stayed for much longer. The house is perfect and so too the location. There was everything we could have needed at the house and we had a lovely holiday here. The home was very clean and tidy - couldn’t fault anything! The owner is lovely to deal with and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a lovely, peaceful holiday. We hope to return when we can.

Perfect!

We have spent an incredible vacation, the house is wonderful, fully equipped, very quiet and comfortable, absolutely recommended. The communication with the owners has been very good, and they are very nice. Looking forward to returning very soon. Pity that they do not admit animals, we would like very much to be able to go with our little dog. Very grateful, thank you very much.

Thank you for your nice words! We considered our communication as 'very very pleasant' as well. You were nice guests and we invite you to book our villa again! We can imagine that guests, who have a pet at home, would appreciate to take it with them at holidays. However, we often have guests who are alergic to - for instance - dogs. We're sorry.

Lovely Villa

Enjoyed two great weeks in this spacious villa with great outside area including a large deep pool. If UK TV is your thing then not a lot to choose from and possibly the main bedroom air con unit needs serviced as it struggled in the heat. But overall minor grumbles on a well maintained very clean house that I would return to without hesitation and strongly recommend

June 2022

The villa is wonderful and the owner very responsive to queries. Very clean and the pool is quite large. We bbq one evening which was lovely. I would bring additional washing machine tabs for regular washing clothes. The location is urbanised with no shops or restaurants within walking distance. Uber is very quick and shops a few mins drive away. Prices vary depending on am/pm weekday/end. I would recommend Butchers Amancil and Tony's Pizzera for eating out both amazing and Cheeky Pup great pub for night out.

We recommended to rent a car (but in this way you can manage it too ;-) However, from the villa to the Ancao beach, there are 1.400 meters and to the Garrao beach (with 5 restaurants/bars) 500 meters more.

Just returned from Quinta do Lago and this wonderful property which is even better than the photos.Situated about 5 minutes drive from some beautiful beaches and within 10 minutes of dozens of great restaurants, this was the perfect place for our latest stay in the Algarve.The villa is spacious, well equipped and in a peaceful residential location (although there was a little noise from a new house build about 70 metres away - this wasn't an issue for us). The pool is just fantastic and even without heating, in late June it was always the perfect temperature!The beds were super-comfortable and the shutters ensured we could sleep late in mid summer. I would recommend paying for the aircon as the upstairs rooms were warm (as expected in June!) and might have been a struggle without the cool air.Kitchen was well equipped and the hosts were kind enough to ensure all the essentials were there (salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar, coffee, as well as cleaning products). Washing machine and dishwasher made the villa feel like home-from-home!We have holidayed in Vale do Lobo and Quinta for over 25 years and stayed in at least 8 different properties... this is among THE very best and we are already planning on revisiting in 2027!

Große Villa in guter Lage!

Wir haben hier Weihnachten 2022 und den Jahreswechsel verbracht. Gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage. Es war in den benachbarten Villen nichts los. Das sollte man ggf. in der Hauptreisezeit beachten. Es war von hier aus alles gut und schnell zu erreichen. Bis Faro und Albufeira sind es ca. 30 Minuten und bis Quarteira 20 Minuten. Ein Auto oder Fahrrad ist empfohlen, da von hier aus wenig zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Der Strand ist schön und auch zu Fuß (ca. 20 Minuten) zu erreichen. Auch kann man mit dem Rad super nach Quarteira oder nach Faro über die Stege am Strand fahren. Das ist schön angelegt und sehr weitläufig. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist sehr schnell und komfortabel. Leider trübt jetzt im Nachhinein die komplizierte und nicht richtige Abrechnung des Stroms das Rund-um positive Bild: Es werden wegen einer viel zu späten Ablesung durch das Personal noch kWh in Rechnung gestellt, die nicht unser Verbrauch sind. Es geht nicht um viel Geld. Ich hoffe, das klärt sich noch.

Herzlichen Dank für Ihre ausführliche Beschreibung Ihrer Erfahrungen! Es fügt sich weitgehend nahtlos in die Bewertungen ein, die andere Gäste hinterlassen haben. So auch die Bewertung der Gäste, die mehr als eine Woche SPÄTER als Sie bei uns gemietet haben. Es erfüllt uns mit Stolz. Dennoch finde ich Ihre Anmerkung zur Stromrechnung nicht sachlich angegeben. Wir bieten in Varandas do Lago die weitaus billigsten freistehende Villa an. Im Wintersaison zahlen 2 Gäste nur € 525 pro Woche und Ihnen war im Vorfeld klar daß - um die Miete für unsere Gäste niedrig zu halten - der Strom separat berechnet wird. Wirkung war Ihr bekannt: Weitergabe der Zählerstände durch unsere Villamanager. Um zu verhindern daß sie Ihnen ihre Anfahrtskosten bei Ihrer Ankunft (€ 30) und Ihrer Abreise (ebenfalls € 30) in Rechnung stellt, nimmt sie die Zählerstände auf, wenn sie die Villa für Ihren Empfang präpariert. Sie arbeitet jedoch nicht am Sonntag und ihr Ankunft war am Sonntag den 18. Dezember und Ihre Abreise war Sonntag, gerade Neujahr, 09.00 Uhr. Um Weihnachten herum musste sie die Präparierung möglicherweise 2 Tage im Voraus tun. Richtig, das kann z.B. eine € 6 höhere Stromrechnung implizieren. Entschuldigung! …. Dennoch billiger als € 60 mehr zu bezahlen. Weitere hinweis: es gibt 13 andere, über VRBO mietbare, Villas in Varandas do Lago: die zweitbilligste kostet über die 2023-Weihnachtswoche € 3.193 (ohne zusätzliche Kosten für Strom).
