If you're looking for fun at the lake, look no further than our spacious, 2 story home located less than 1/2 a mile from Choctaw Recreation area where you and your family can enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, and a play area.
Whether it's the lake, local canoe trips, or a family reunion that draws you, if you want a memorable time with family and friends, there's something fun here for groups of all ages. You don't have to leave anyone out; our house is able to accommodate everyone comfortably with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
One important element to my enjoyment of a place is cleanness, so we strive to go above and beyond to make sure things don't just look clean, they ARE clean. You can relax knowing your family's welfare is important to us.
From the 3 car garage to the spacious, private back yard, with the beautiful house in between, everything is here to make sure you enjoy your stay.
There are 2 living rooms upstairs, a smart TV and a DVD player with lots of movies in one and a table with games in the other, so you won't lack for something fun to do indoors.
Is everybody getting hungry? No problem! We have room to feed a crowd with seating for 14+. You'll enjoy the new stainless steel appliances ; a French door refrigerator with ice and water in the door, a drop in stove, and a dishwasher are here along with a microwave and coffee maker. The granite countertops and island make this spacious kitchen a dream. There's so much room, you'll be able to take everyone up on their offer to help. Downstairs you'll find a 2 burner gas grill for the barbeque enthusiast. You can get to it by means of the covered walkway that runs the full length of the house in the back and the stairs off that leading to the patio.
Also downstairs, you'll find the back yard is ready for a game of croquet or frisbee golf which we have on hand. There's a brick paved patio and a table with 4 chairs for those who would rather watch than play. Our guests love sitting back there enjoying the peaceful view of the lake.
We've even got you covered if it rains one day with 3 large, smart TVs. The guys can watch the big game, the ladies can watch the latest chick flick and the kids can fight over what they want to watch. No, wait! We have WiFi, so the kids can all watch whatever they want on their devices. Or they can pick a movie and watch something on the 2 DVD players.
If you have older folks in your group, you'll appreciate the upstairs bedroom that's only a couple of steps from the front porch with easy access to a bathroom across the foyer. Downstairs, you'll find 4 bedrooms with 5 beds and 2 bathrooms.
The luxurious, spacious master bedroom has it's own en suite bathroom and smart TV. The bathroom has a huge double walk-in shower and double sink. It also has a view of the lake and back yard from the spacious windows to the left of the king size bed. Imagine enjoying your morning coffee as you take in the tranquil scene.
There's 2 bedrooms with queen size beds on each side of the master, along with a bedroom at the end of the hall with 2 single trundle beds. Everyone who stays in this room loves the TV and DVD player and the great view of the lake.
There is a roomy bathroom with a shower/ tub combo that the 3 downstairs bedrooms share. All the bedrooms have large closets to hold your things during your stay.
While no one likes to think of doing laundry on vacation, it usually happens. Upstairs, off the kitchen we have just what you need: a large capacity front loading washer, a large capacity dryer, and detergent.
