This sweet beach house is loaded with charm!

The pillar and post structure is amazing in its open design and functionality. There is a welcoming, covered front porch with a great fan and rocking chairs. The perfect place to sip a cool drink and relax.

The double door entrance opens to the foyer that accesses the two large bedrooms and a staircase leading to the loft. The master bedroom includes a new king size bed, Smart TV and en-suite bath. The second bedroom features a queen bed and new 32” flat screen TV.


The upstairs loft is an awesome area for the kids with a full-size bed and two twin beds. The updated kitchen is fully-equipped with new appliances and granite counter tops.This space open to the living area with vaulted a ceiling, lots of windows for natural light, comfy furniture and a new 42" flat screen Smart TV.

Adjoining the living room is a sun room which is the perfect place for reading and reflecting. The rear deck features a new gas grill, umbrella, table and chairs. This area is the perfect place to enjoy the private back yard with an abundance of lush palms and live oaks.

Our happy place is located on the most beautiful private, gated-island in the low country. Just 18 miles from Beaufort SC, which was named by Southern Living Magazine as the no.1 best small town year after year.

If you are interested in relaxing, quiet vacation, in an amazing beach house with 3 miles of pristine beach, breathtaking nature trails, bike paths, fishing, crabbing and so much more, this place is waiting for you.

There is an added plus, we welcome your pooch to enjoy all this with you!! ***We do not include club amenity cards ( nor can you purchase them ), as we are not club members, but our 4 -seater golf cart is available for your use.**** Provisions not requiring club amenities cards are located near the entrance gate and at the Marina.

The Spring Tide Village has a food market and deli offering groceries, beer, wine, spirits, souvenirs, beach toys, etc.

If you like to eat by the water, there is a great deli serving lunch daily, at the marina. Just off the island there is the iconic Shrimp Shack and Johnsons Creek restaurant, two of our favorites! There is also an abundance of excellent public golf courses in Beaufort County.

If you have never been to this area before, you must spend at least one day exploring Beaufort with all its history, charm, great shops and eateries!

Please note, summer rentals are weekly, Saturday to Saturday only.

Beautiful house with everything you need. The kitchen has all the items needed to cook. The master bed was very comfortable. Having the extras like golf cart and beach chairs really helps out. This was a great place for our family and would be great for families with children.

Good location and great weather

We had great weather and it was a nice stay. Very responsive. Golf cart light bulb went out so we couldn’t explore in the evenings.

Family Vacation

We have stayed at this quant house on Fiddlers Cove twice and have enjoyed both stays. Our 3 granddaughters also stay with us and love the upstairs room where they can all sleep together. The house is always clean and has all the amenities needed for a perfect beach stay. The owner has always been punctual with answers if we have any questions. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to get away and have a quiet, peaceful beach vacatioin.

Fripptastic week

Another great week at fripp. House was perfect for our needs. Do wish the AC could go a bit lower than 72 but it wasn’t that bad, just used to sleeping in cooler. House was clean and had what we needed, golf cart was great to get to the beach and cruise around in the evenings. Very quiet neighborhood and deer were so fun to watch in the mornings off the back porch.

Memorial Day 2024

Great little cottage. Loved that I did not have to bring linens and that the golf cart was there and ready to go when we arrived. One thing I wish I would have researched was how to get to the beach. We were new to Fripp Island and had no clue which beach access was closest to our cottage. We spent a good bit of time trying to figure out how to get to the beach but we will know next time! Thanks to the host for a great first trip to Fripp. It's a beautiful place!

House

Personal pictures everywhere especially over the bed was creepy. House was hot. Hot water didn’t last long. Toys and debris all around the outside of the house. Lights in the house were blown out. Wicker outdoor furniture used for the living room was horrible and extremely uncomfortable to sit in on.

Great little getaway

This is a great little getaway and comes with everything you may need. The loft would be perfect if you are traveling with children. The house was clean upon checkin, stayed cool on really hot days, and was perfect for a quick trip. The golf cart was useful and this area of the island is quiet.

Great Cottage at Fripp

We really enjoyed our stay here this year. Fripp is one of our favorite places and this house was perfect for our family. It had plenty of room and was nice and clean. We loved the high ceilings and the personalized touches to the house. It was in a nice quiet area of the island.

Relaxing Getaway

We spent a peaceful month in this quaint, airy house surrounded by lush trees. The house is well equipped and the master bed is very comfortable. We loved having the cart to drive to the gorgeous beach. Some of our best times were spent just relaxing on the beach, walking around the Fripp Island marshes, or hiking the trails and beaches of the Hunting Island State park nearby. It was nice to be on the private, gated island and it was OK to not be a member of their exclusive club as there are good restaurants within easy reach on St. Helena Island and a wide choice of groceries, restsurants & shopping a half-hour away in Beaufort. Thank you to Cheryl for sharing her lovely home and for being responsive to some minor issues. We definitely want to return to Fripp Island in the future.

Cozy perfect cottage on the beach!

We all had a wonderful time. The kids enjoyed sleeping in a loft area. The layout of the home provided both a cozy gathering feel with space to be alone if needed. The location on the island was perfect! The deer loved the property and we got to see them throughout the day. You are a short walking distance to the park and shops. The plant life was spectacular and gave such a tropical feel. Truly enjoyed the stay.

Clean comfortable and spacious

This house was clean comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed including the golf cart We actually reserved the property the night before we needed reservations and it was smooth no issues! This property is exactly what you see advertised. Adorable house. Great location out of the hustle and bustle of the "main" area. Super quiet. Loved the fan on the front porch and the rocking chairs! A MUST in August!! Check-in and Check-out were completely painless! Super easy and stream lined!

Fripp Island is a favorite!

Overall our stay at Fripp Island was a good trip. We enjoyed the location of the rental but it was truly lacking in cleanliness, however we didn’t allow it to be an issue and enjoyed a much needed beach trip. Thank you!
