Overall rating: 3 starsThe host was wonderful and very responsive, and the location was great. We especially enjoyed the pool and the easy access to the river.That said, the cleanliness of the unit was disappointing and could really benefit from a deep cleaning. When we arrived, the floors, couches, and kitchen table were dirty. There were crumbs and tomato remnants left on the table, and it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned since the previous guests. We also found long black hairs throughout the unit, on the floors, towels, and couches, and the walls across from the kitchen table had food or spill marks that needed to be wiped down. I contacted the host about the floor and how dirty it was asking if it could be cleaned the following morning. They were king and did have the cleaners come by and for the most part sweep and mop the floors in the kitchen and dining area. Additionally, the internet connection was also very spotty. As a college student, I rely on stable Wi-Fi, and while I understand the host isn’t directly responsible for the service, the modem in the unit seemed to power on and off constantly. This also made it frustrating for the family to watch TV or a movie, as it was frequently buffering or unable to play altogether.Fair warning: there is covered parking, the assigned spot for the covered parking has a beam nearly in the middle of it. If you’re traveling in a truck, it’s a TIGHT fit. Thankfully there was an additional uncovered parking area.
