Beautiful 4 Bedroom, Ideally Located Home! Beach: Only 1 Mile Away!

*Due to severe allergies, we cannot accept any vacationers with cats living in their home.

Our four bedroom, three bathroom home is comfortable and beautifully landscaped; it will feel like the perfect home away from home. Its ideal, central location makes it easy to enjoy all that our area has to offer. Within five minutes you can be in downtown Petoskey, and, within just a few more, you can be in downtown Harbor Springs. Our home is located approximately a mile from the Petoskey State Park. The gorgeous yard is the perfect place to for children to play, and the patio with a large, eight-person patio set and grill is a great place to eat and unwind.

The primary bedroom sleeps 2 (king). The remaining two upstairs bedrooms sleep 3 combined (queen and single), and the downstairs bedroom sleeps 2 (full).

This home is our primary residence, with the exception of the summer months.

One-week minimum, Saturday to Saturday, during the summer months (mid June-Aug). Check in after 4pm, check out 11 a.m.

Wonderful Home

This is a fantastic VRBO. Our kids loved playing in the yard and the house has everything you need for a great vacation. Christi is a great host and was very responsive when we had questions.

Summer vacation with Grandpa & Grandma

We gathered in this lovely and comfortable home from across the country for a great vacation with grandpa and grandma. The lake, town and trails were nearby, and we took advantage of all while sinking into the coziness of the house and all we needed.

Magical place!

We had a perfect time in Petoskey - thanks to this gorgeous home! The space is cozy, with comfy beds and a lovely kitchen, and the outdoor space is a real gem: tree swings and a jungle gym for kids, a fire pit (we made s'mores), and a general feeling of peace. We could not recommend this place more highly! And the owners were a joy to communicate with. Five stars and then some.

Great location, beautiful house, two car garage, has everything

Stayed with my wife and our two kids (8/10) and had a great time. Host responded to emails and texts quickly and gave advice for cool beach and rock hunting spots. Home has a two-car garage for use by the renter which was awesome for loading/unloading. Home is nicely decorated and has very comfy beds and couches. Huge screened/windowed porch area to leave all your beach stuff. It also has a well landscaped yard with fire pit, grill, patio, table, and some playthings for kids. In all a great home and a great host- we’ll definitely look to book this again if we come back to Petoskey! Also, <5min drive to Petoskey State Park

Lovely House

We really enjoyed our stay here. The yard was beautiful-we enjoyed meals on the patio, reading outside and the firepit. We also liked the convenient location. In a short drive we could go to the beach, hike, canoe and shop. Overall a great vrbo.

Clean and Quaint!!!

This home was one of the best we've stayed in. Immaculate cozy and a great location!! Beds were extremely comfortable with lots of amenities. House has been very well maintained and the communication with the host was excellent! They were responsive and always available and checking to see what we might need. We felt very secure while staying here. Will definitely be back!!!!

Wonderful

First I want to say how wonderful Christi and Kent are. So caring and gracious to my husband and me. They both responded quickly to our calls when the weather turned cool and needed help with turning on the heat. Christi gave me some ideas for dining out, shopping and even what we could do if it rained. Their home is very charming and welcoming, extremely clean and inviting, we loved it. We hope to go again. Christi and Kent are people we would love to know as good friends, that’s how genuinely wonderful they are.

Great family getaway

We recently stayed here for over a week. The home was wonderful, clean, and spacious. The owner was very responsive and answered all our questions and gave us some good suggestions for the area. There was a wonderful welcoming gift and card. The hosts provided fire wood as she knew our children loved having s’mores. We will be back sometime in the future!

Great family getaway

I had a nice girls getaway weekend with my two daughters at this charming house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners even provided wood for a campfire Saturday night. I enjoyed using the garage especially since it rained Friday night. The owners were very responsive and quick to answer my questions. I would recommend this to anyone. We would stay there again if this becomes an annual event.

Couples getaway

We recently stayed here for a night with 2 other couples to enjoy a quick getaway. The house was clean and the yard was private and peaceful. The hosts were great to respond quickly to all inquiries before the trip. My only complaint was the cleaning fee was high for a one night stay. Fairly expensive when we had to strip sheets, start a load of towels, clean and put away dishes, and take out all garbage as part of the check out checklist. Considering we were there such a short time there really was very little left for the cleaners to do. There were still vacuum lines on most of the carpets. Aside from that we really enjoyed our time and would stay there again.

Excellent location and property

There were absolutely no surprises when we arrived or at any point during the stay. Everything is just as advertised and the Communication with Christi, the property manager and home owner, was very detailed and friendly. We were a party of four adults and one toddler and the backyard was the perfect hang out. The fence gave us comfort so she could run around. The kitchen is well appointed and everything is so clean and nicely arranged. This is a great value and we will be back!

Loved this place

We loved this property. The best part was the outdoor space for our 4 year old. Owners were quick to respond. House was very clean and exactly as described. Only steaming available for TV, but we didn’t have the TV on once...it is vacation after all, and we don’t have cable at home so that was not an issue. Lots of cookware in kitchen to use which was very helpful since we ate the majority of our meals at the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved it! Would return in a heartbeat!

This house was everything we needed and wanted. It was perfect for our two families with little kids. So much to do at the house for them between the swing set, sandbox, and tree swings! The backyard is incredible. Location is close to everything and easily accessible. Owner was super responsive for all of our questions. Even gave us restaurant suggestions and tips for parking/viewing the 4th parade and fireworks. It was a awesome trip. We had a fantastic time!

Home Away From Home

My wife and our two children recently stayed in this home for our family vacation. Its a very cozy and clean home with all the amenities needed. The yard was perfect for the kids to burn off some energy and the back patio with grill was an extra perk. The home location was great for us, being it was extremely close to Petoskey State Park Beach and a short drive into downtown Petoskey. The owners were extremely pleasant and the rental went very smoothly from an administration standpoint. I would definitely recommend this property to friends/family and will stay there again.

Wonderful home in a great location!

Large 4 Bedroom house close to Petosky & Harbor Springs

Location is excellent. It is very close to the Petoskey State Park which has a large sandy beach. It is also about half a mile from the Petoskey Brewery. It is great for a family, has a nice grill and table and the house was very clean. They also provided a kitchen that is fully stocked with plates, pans , bowls and silverware. -- no need to bring anything but food. Does have a strict policy on not having an association with cats and that includes any guests that may visit.

Lovely clean home in a great location!

We were very pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and beauty of the home. It was very fun staying there and felt like home. The grounds were lovely and well kept. There was plenty of space inside. We really liked that we were able to use the garage to store our bikes and beach canopy. The house is very convenient to Petosky state park which has a very nice beach. It is also only a 10 minute drive to downtown Petosky, a very cool town with a vibrant shopping and food district. Its only about an hour drive to Mackinac island! Overall a great place and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again sometime in the future! One thing to keep in mind is that the house does not have a television. We didn't care because we dont watch much television but if you do , bring your own.

Fabulous house in very convenient location

I visited the property with my husband, 5 year old and 3 year old in August for a week. The house was super clean, spacious, really well equipped and had everything we needed. The children enjoyed having a lovely, safe garden to play in. The location was perfect for us - only a short drive to Petoskey, the state park and also very close to the Little Traverse Wheelway cycle path. We also visited Mackinac Island which was great! Christi, the owner, was really helpful and dealt with the booking and any questions really promptly. Overall, a super 'home away from home,' which I would highly recommend!

Great home in a convenient location.

This is a lovely, spacious home that was perfect for our extended family gathering. The large landscaped yard gave us an additional area to relax and space for our grandson to play.

A great location.

We enjoyed the location of this home. It had a nice amount of space and a beautiful yard. The homeowner left a nice gift bag for us. It currently doesn't have a patio set or a grill which were a drawback for us. Be aware there is no TV. The wifi is great for watching online though. The three car wide driveway was great for being able to turn around in and there is access to park two cars in the garage. We could fit our minivan inside with bikes on the back.

Please see pictures in the listing of our new, large patio set and Weber propane grill. These items make enjoying our beautiful yard even better. The high speed cable internet is great for streaming all of your favorite shows or content via whatever device(s) you choose to bring.

Last August, in need of more space, we sold our former home and purchased this one. It has plenty of space for our kids and their friends to play inside, and it has a beautiful, safe yard that we enjoy playing in almost everyday. My husband built a sandbox this spring, and we just hung swings from the apple tree in the back yard.
