Overall, we enjoyed the apartment. It was spacious and family-friendly, with a nice courtyard, plenty of closet space, lots of windows, and blinds that made the rooms very dark. The AC worked well. The street was quiet, with a good grocery store about a 10-minute walk away and the city center about 15 minutes by taxi. There was a lift, which was important to us, but several steps had to be negotiated with luggage before reaching it.There were several areas needing improvement. Basic supplies were insufficient: not enough toilet paper, no paper towels, and no washing-machine detergent. Towels would have needed to be washed during the stay, and clothes had to be dried on a rack that had a broken metal piece. The TV was nonfunctional. The master-bedroom safe could not be opened. A broken piece from the master-bath shower rack was left on the floor. The hall door knob sticks out and we repeatedly bumped our arms on it. The upstairs neighbor also made loud banging noises early in the morning.Management was rarely responsive. The rental process also required signing a lengthy lease and uploading a photo of ID.The apartment has many positives, but better maintenance, supplies, and communication would significantly improve the stay.
