Property Was Wonderful

We really enjoyed our visit. Property was as advertised. The only issue was that AC did no cool very well but we opened windows which worked.

Beautiful historic home by the Louvre

Wonderful week in Paris over Christmas! Beautiful home with excellent amenities! Would definitely recommend this home! Only suggestion would be to provide more than 1 set of keys to the home. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home!

Spectacular Paris Flat in A+ Location

We were delighted to find this flat was as phenomenal as advertised. The communication with management was great, check-in process easy, the flat itself was stunning, clean and well appointed. We were delighted by the location, which was both nestled in a quiet courtyard, yet steps from restaurants, shopping and the museums. Certainly a property we would rent again next time we are in Paris.

Paris family trip.

Getting the keys was somewhat of a hassle. The clerk at the hotel desk who gave us the keys was quite rude to us. Internet did not work throughout our entire stay.

Classy Apartment in a Super Location

The location was perfect. In an attractive square close to the Louvres, several brasseries and bars. As a group of women it was perfect. The apartment was not as big as it looked and two bedrooms were incredibly small and one had no windows! However the main 2 were beautiful. No rooms were en suite so it was a case of sharing but it all worked. The kitchen area is tiny so we didn’t do much cooking! Check in needed focus so pay attention to the information sent! Linen all fresh and clean. Bathrooms new and spotless.

Nice apartment that is well placed

We enjoyed staying a few days in this apartment. I needs improvements: 1) We need more than one key to this apartment. Putting the key in the lockbox every time is painful and stressful. 2) we needed instructions in writing for the air conditioning. Hard to use. It works once you get it going. This can be solved with a live person check in to explain everything and get 4 key sets.

Trip of a lifetime!

This apartment easily accommodated our family of 9 and was large enough for us to host Thanksgiving dinner for 12! The neighborhood is beautiful and classically Parisian. Walking around was a breeze as everything was so close (the Louvre is across the street!). The unit itself is luxurious without being too fancy and fragile. The kitchen was well equipped. The towels were soft and plentiful. There was little to no street noise and the building is very quiet. There is a cafe right out the door. I cannot wait to go back and I highly recommend this apartment for families. I almost hesitate to give it such a shining review because I would like to keep this a secret for just myself! I found the property managers instantly responsive and helpful in finding resources such as drivers and a chef.

Summery

The apartment was spacious and clean however the description of 6 Br and 5baths was deceptive. There was only 1 complete bathroom. There were separate rooms with different facilities. Two bedrooms were cool the others were very very hot. The fans provided were inadequate. The extra cleaning staff we paid extra was excellent. The location was wonderful. The one thing that was disappointing was that when we arrived there was no one there to greet us and explain the systems in the apartment. We have rented many villas in the past and this was not the case. Richard Libretti. We have had manny manny trips to Italy and might be planning a trip to Positano next summer and a side trip to Capri. We know the area well my family came from a nearby tiwn

Excellent séjour à paris | Excellent stay in Paris!

This unit is a complete show stopper and centrally located in the 1st. A short walk from everything with plenty of dining and shopping districts around. I’ve been to Paris before in other districts and this is by far the most exciting stay, high traffic from tourist but still has a local feel around the way. For it’s price point, they don’t necessarily skip a beat, however, in reviewing you can certainly spend this amount on traditional accommodations (h0t3l) that will greet you and treat you like a star guest upon arrival. Instead, the first hour upon arrival was spent on a lengthy scavenger hunt to get the keys, to open a lockbox that didn’t open until 4pm even though they said we could bag drop at 2pm. Searching for keys in the driving rain was a doozy to say the least. It’s worth nothing, I speak some French and without activitely translating with our driver we would not have been successful in that hour. Once we finally got our prize from the hunt, my group of seven brought in all of luggage to utter dismay. The extremely small elevator was down with no signs of being serviced. This is where I would say, if you’re going to spend this amount why not book somewhere that will help you upon arrival, and throughout your stay. Fresh towels, and toiletries would be nice throughout the stay as well. All in all, the unit and area are excellent, just small bits to note when really thinking about booking.

Review of Merveil and their property near the Louvre

My family and I recently stayed at one of Merveil's properties in Paris. The apartment was in a great location, very close to the Louvre and Palais Royal. Also, right near where they film the office scenes in Emily in Paris. The apartment was very well appointed but there were a few things that prevented me from giving this a four or five star rating. 1. Communication with the property manager was very difficult. 2. Two days before I was supposed to leave for our trip, Merveil sent me a message saying they had decided to cancel my reservation because they thought I was bringing a group of young people to stay. This was after sending all of the IDs of my family and being asked to do so multiple times. I was able to convince them to not cancel my reservation but it was stressful to say the least. 3. Luckily we had someone meet us at the property when we checked in, if we hadn't finding the key to get into the apartment building and the apartment itself would have been a fiasco. 4. Finally, I understand we were staying in a historic building but we had mice in the apartment. One was spotted in the kitchen and then they kept all of us up at night because they were chewing in the walls. Because we were staying between Christmas and New year's day, they could not send a technician to deal with the problem permanently (they did send a person over to put a couple of traps out ). I believe they will remedy this problem now but for my trip and spending the amount of money I did, I was not happy. On a good note my family all said how much they enjoyed the apartment and our time in Paris; it was just stressful for me.

Fantastic

We come to Paris often. Usually the whole family. We stumbled upon this gem and we couldn’t be happier. These people made sure everything was perfect by the time we arrived. The apartment is superb. Enough space, beautiful place. We were 8 people, 5 adults and 3 kids. Excellent location, access and communication. The management team was on point with every need we had, all the time. Everything was squeaky clean, new and in working condition. We had people showering 3 at a time, and the hot water not even blinked!. Fully equipped with all the stuff you need, kitchen and bath. There’s even a great bistro downstairs, supermarkets 2 or 3 minutes walking, Louvre a stone throw away. And, to top it off, the square is the location of one of our favorite shows, and we got to witness some scenes from the new season. We’ll be back.
