Welcome to The Patches!

The Patches is a beautifully renovated cottage set in the heart of the Shropshire countryside.

- The large outside patio area with hot tub with south facing with views towards Pontesford Hill and

The Stiperstones. Enjoy the sun all day in our beautiful spacious garden

We allow dogs at the Patches at a charge of £50 per booking maximum of two dogs.

- We have three spacious yet tranquil bedrooms sleeping up to 7 guests and one of the king size rooms is conveniently located on the ground floor

- The stand out feature for The Patches is its original charm and its transformation from a tumbled down semi detached farm and miners cottages to the beautiful place you see today.

- Guests of The Patches and Stoney Moat will receive membership access to Rowton Castle country club and gym with swimming pool to entertain the children! Guests need to take a membership guest pass to the club and the club will charge a small fee 7.00 GBP per adult per day.

- If you fancy staying in - Cooked meals and fine dinning can be arranged for delivery from Oak Apple catering Shop

-We are equipped with all the necessary amenities including smart TVs with Netflix, Free WiFi and all linen and towels are included and our cottages are cleaned to the highest possible standard ensuring your safety and comfort during your stay.

We have a wonderful stay at The Patches, the cottage is private, quiet, secluded, bliss!

The interiors and exteriors are done to a high standard. The facilities were great including a hot tub. We spent many evenings eating outside and it was very peaceful and quiet. We will be returning.

Birthday Celebrations with Friends in a Cosy Cottage

I booked The Patches to celebrate my birthday over a few days. Bless with beautiful autumn days this was the perfect place to stay. Fabulous views, complete solitude but not too far from shops and the pub. Very stylishly designed & extremely helpful staff.

We had a wonderful time at The Patches. Absolutely beautiful house!

Everything was thought of at the house, things like towelling robes for everyone to use with the hot tub and lots of outdoor furniture. Lots of space inside and out and everything was spotlessly clean. Gorgeous, comfy, cosy house in a beautiful location. We all loved our stay!

This house is beautiful! The facilities and amenities are great! The location is gorgeous! We would definitely go back! And the property manager, Diana, is very helpful and lovely! Everything you could need has thought of and provided. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful house!

Absoloutely loved this house, lovely views and great space! Log fire that you can use, under floor heating, great beds and robes for everyone to use with the hot tub! Perfect! Little sheep are the only neighbours! Nice little pub up the road too that you can drive too which had great food!

beautiful house - perfect layout, loved the big utility room to keep all outdoorsy stuff then big open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. Both showers had rain drencher options which were amazing! stunning peaceful location yet still close to a main road for going out to do stuff/get supplies. The hosts are lovely and sent all info we needed beforehand.
