Past bobbing boats and flowering wisteria, the lakeside path known as ‘La Passarella’ leads to the elegant Victorian-era promenade. Here a lovely lakeside Lido promises a delightful day of relaxation, whilst a picturesque hillside trail leads to the medieval ‘Castello di Vezio’ attraction. A car and passenger ferry service offers easy access to Bellagio, Cadenabbia and Menaggio, whilst a train station from Varenna also offers a frequent Lecco-Milan service.
