Stroll along the restored Kalahuipua’a Fishponds, and connect with the spiritual center of Mauna Lani’s past. We all loved our stay here. The house is well equipped with everything we needed including all the beach related items. There is a beautiful pool right behind the house with a nice hot tub (that i appreciated after long days of exploring). Karen and Steve thankyou for your promptness to all our questions and being so helpful. We really appreciated all the restaurant recommendations you provided. We have been celebrating our daughter’s 16th birthday across the islands and i couldn’t have picked a better place on the Big Island. Mahalo.

The location is perfect and enjoyed access to private beach which is 3 minute drive away. Pool was beautiful. The condo was clean, spacious and had everything we needed including chairs/umbrella for the beach. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

We had a wonderful vacation on the Big Island and can't wait to go back! Steve and Karen were very responsive, gave excellent recommendations, and the condo was fully stocked for the beach, relaxing, and cooking. The pool is steps away and beautiful. The private beach is a hidden gem with calm waters that are perfect for snorkeling. We will miss our morning walks to see the sunrise and swimming in the ocean every day. Cannot recommend enough!

Beautiful! Perfect for Families.

This place is the perfect spot for a family with 2 children. The perfect amount of space and right next to the pool and fitness area. The neighborhood was close to everything we needed. It was a short drive to shopping, restaurants, groceries, beach, and golf. It is also close to Waimea and Waikaloa Village for more great food options. Specifically, Waimea for top restaurants and farmers markets. This is a great place. Don’t miss this opportunity.

Great vacation!

The condo is great. We loved the swimming pool, very close to the condo and the 2 beaches nearby. Steve was super friendly and helpful! We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay! I definitely recommend the place.

The best spot!

We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent location - just across the lawn to the pool, which made for quick and easy trips to the hot tub. The private beach club access is fantastic. The condo is cute, clean, and comfortable. Everything you will need. Including beach toys, chairs and snorkeling equipment. My family and I had a blast.

Perfect Family Unit!

We just finished a wonderful stay at Steve and Karen’s place. The photos do not do justice for how lovely the place is! The kitchen was well equipped and the beds really comfortable. We loved the location of the unit as it backs onto the garden and pool area. A wonderful place to spend a family holiday. Only suggestion is a coffee grinder so we could have enjoyed freshly ground island coffee. :)

Close to pool which was great.

The property was ok...needs a lot of renovation....painting,new carpets etc. The lighting in the bathrooms should be changed..it was dark. There was no move in checklist and we had been in touch many times...needed new ater filer in fridge and bbq had a leak. we were there for 3 months and it was like we were snowbirds.. oh well...no place like home.

Great condo with amazing pool and beach club

This was our second stay at this condo, our first being in 2017, and this visit was just as great as the first. The condo itself was well equipped, from kitchen supplies to lots of beach gear (coolers, chairs, snorkel gear, etc.). The condo was clean and comfortable. The pool area is lovely for a quiet afternoon, and never seemed busy. Access to the beach club is great, easy parking, great restaurant, and perfect for a morning walk around the fish ponds. Our family really enjoyed staying here and we hope to visit again soon!

Clean and comfortable condo in great location

The condo was perfect for my week stay North of Kona. It was very clean and my bed was comfortable. Neighbors were nice, property and pool was nice and close to beaches, shopping and restaurants. Had a lot of extras like box fan, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, beach towels, etc. Some of the electrical outlets didn’t work, but I didn’t have a problem with having enough light and use of kitchen equipment overall. Costs extra if you want to sleep in AC so I decided not to run the AC much, and it ended up being fine. I did get hot sometimes but the ceiling fans took care of cooling the rooms down. Overall I was happy with this condo and would return!

Stay in Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at this location. Steve and Karen were very helpful and available in case anything came up. We loved being so close to the pool, which was great for kids but not noisy at all. Having access to the beach club was also a highlight. The condo was stocked with anything we might need. We hope to stay again in future trips.

Another stay in paradise

Family of 4 stayed for a week. Great location close to pool. House very clean. Kitchen well stocked. Beach club was an excellent benefit we used almost daily. Would return.

Great place

All was great with unit and furnishings. Warmest pool in the area which was welcomed-we brought rain to the desert. Beach equipment was used daily. Overall a great place to stay.

Nicely equipped condo

I was impressed with the kitchen. Have stayed at other golf villas with less in the way of glasses, cookware etc. Had all we needed and appreciated the beach items in the closet. The location is very nice. Perfect place to stay for a few days.

Amazing hosts

Great property in a great location but what made the difference here is Steve and Karen. They’re highly communicative with guests before and during the stay. Their local guide is great and they even were giving us a “heads up” about local events pre and during our stay. They really care about their guests. We’ll be back for sure.

Wonderful Place

We enjoyed our stay. Steve was easy to communicate with. He gave us good tips of the area. The condo has everything you need for the beach.: chairs, snorkel gear, towels, coolers, sand toys. The private beach access is fabulous. You do have to drive a few minutes to get there. The condo is clean and beds comfortable. We would defiantly stay here again.

We had rented this unit for the previous 3 years and are excited to carry on the tradition renting it out as the new owners. We have stayed at different islands and different places, and the Golf Villas was clearly the best!

Walk from our Lanai to the pool in 1 minute! Lots of extras available in the condo including but not limited to excellent kitchen & BBQ cooking tools & utensils, cleaning supplies, paper supplies, all soaps, beach chairs & towels, hair dryer, etc.
Includes access to the Private Owner's Beach Club with parking, restrooms, showers, and lounge chairs. Also, advance tee times are available at the North and South Mauna Lani golf courses.
