Stay at 'The Manse' in Historic St. Andrews

The Manse has been newly renovated with an attention to detail. We offer spacious rooms and modern amenities in a historically designated Edwardian classical century home, located just a two minute walk from renowned Water Street shopping, on the bay, and the pier where you can take a whale watching tour, and afterwards pick up a freshly steamed lobster for dinner, or you can fish for dinner yourself off the pier.

Every day the tides can vary as much as 28 feet - it's a truly amazing sight. Locals and tourists alike flock to the pier each night to see the most beautiful sunsets.

If a sandy beach is your preference, you are just a short walk from Katy's Cove. Between openings of the lock every moon phase, the water in Katy's Cove heats up far in excess of the frigid adjacent Passamaquoddy Bay, for an enjoyable swimming experience (bring your kayak or SUP if you like).
Golfers will enjoy the renowned St. Andrew's golf course (owned by the Algonquin Hotel), within a short walk of the Manse.

Another wonderful stay!

This was our third stay at the Manse and it was wonderful, as usual. Property has everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. The location is so convenient to everything we wanted to do and see.

Perfect for us!

The Manse was perfect for us in so many ways....location, layout, amenities, to name a few. We spent a week in St. Andrew's with family prior to our daughter's wedding and enjoyed the town and The Manse tremendously. Would highly recommend it!!!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time at this property! Plenty of room inside with a great porch and yard. It's easily within walking distance of downtown and the water - lots to do and see! We had four adults and three children in our group (7 and under) and it was a great fit for us. Wi-fi was a bit spotty and we had some issues with the television, but luckily we were there to disconnect so it wasn't a big deal at all. We would love to stay there again and hope to do so!

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us, and thank you for your feedback about the WiFi. It's a big house with thick plaster walls, and I have also noticed some difficulty in certain parts of the house, so today I installed another WiFi signal repeater/booster. As for the TV, I wish there was a way to reduce the number of remotes, but with the cable, android box (Kodi/Amazon Prime Video/YouTube...), blu-ray/DVD player, exterior security cameras, and HDMI switch, perhaps the only solution is a second set of detailed step-by-step instructions - I'm working on it now. Wonderful!

Another great stay! The house is beautiful and has everything necessary. The location can’t be beat - easy walk to town, Katy’s Cove, a playground, etc. The host was responsive throughout the process. We can’t wait to return!

We Loved The Manse!

Easy last minute booking for a work from away experience. My friend & I enjoyed the very large space where we each worked from our own separate living area with fires daily, lots of space for yoga, a bonfire out back, deer watching, playing the keyboard at the rental (nice surprise), soaking tub, SUP’d at very nearby spots, enjoyed the town’s cute shops & coffee shops, restaurants, massages at Algonquin, beach walks…everything was so close…a beautiful town any time of year & hope to return to this beautiful rental…so hard to leave! Thanks for sharing your lovely space!

Beautiful home in Beautiful St. Andrew's

We had an absolutely wonderful week staying in this impeccable historic home. Large, beautiful and comfortable, we did not lack for anything! St Andrew's is a quaint and welcoming town and we walked down to the wharf at least once or twice a day to see the high and low tides. A truly wonderful experience!

This well situated home was ideal for our two week stay. It was well equipped, clean and very comfortable for our party of 6 adults. I would definitely rent this property again.

Beautiful accommodations

We were 7 seniors (family). We found the house met all of our needs. The kitchen was very well equipped and we loved our dinners in the charming dining room.

Beautiful property- Easy walk to town or to the swimming beach

We had 5 adults and 4 kids at the home. It was very comfortable. Very well renovated with great updated conveniences. Easy walk to all the attraction!

Beautiful House in a Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed a ten-day stay at The Manse in late June/early July of 2018. The property is wonderful. Five bedrooms and three baths allowed plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen had everything we needed. Flat-screen TV in living room was great. Our six-year old enjoyed exploring/playing in the yard. We had almost nightly visits from deer. Used the gas grill to cook dinner several nights. Great porch for sitting and relaxing. Location was perfect for a visit to St. Andrews. Very close to Katy's Cove for swimming (less than 5 mins. in car) and beautiful Kingsbrae Garden (two minutes away by car). A great children's playground is just a few blocks away and all the shops and restaurants in the town can be accessed with a 10 minute walk or a two-minute drive. The owners were great to deal with and sent a very informative and reliable guide to the area prior to arrival, which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to St. Andrews.

We absolutely loved this beautifully renovated and well appointed historical property.

Everything about this property was perfect for a group of eight adults. We kept commenting that we will never be able to find such a perfect set up for our group again. It had everything that we wanted and so much more. Thank you!
