NEW IN 2024 A NEW Living Room added overlooking the ocean and connecting the kitchen and dining areas. Also NEW SCREENED IN PORCH AND LARGER OPEN DECKS OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN. THE LARGE AND PRIVATE MASTER BEDROOM overlooking the ocean walks out into the screened in room. Charming oceanside cottage with screened-in porch and deck overlooking the water. Beautiful views of the water and pine studded islands. Watch eagles, osprey, seals, porpoises, and whales from the property. Less than a mile from the Head Harbour Lighthouse, the most photographed lighthouse in New Brunswick. Walk to beautiful Head Harbour to see the fishing boats or catch a whale watching tour. 3 bedrooms- 1 with full size bed, 1 with bunk beds, plus a sleeping loft and a new Master Bedroom with queen size bed. Linens provided; washer and dryer. STARFISH COTTAGE SITS OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN WITH UNIMAGINABLE VIEWS AND SUNSETS

Fellow travelers, look no further... this is the place! The place to get away from it all, and to find the peace and glory of God's creation embracing you from first light to glowing sunset. From the cottage you can walk to a working fishing harbor, a deserted beach with shells and sea glass, and to one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. Or, you can just sit on one of the expansive porches and wait for the whales, eagles and porpoises to float by to greet you! Our family of four spread out through this pretty cottage and enjoyed plenty of space… One teenager claimed the loft for sleeping the whole time, and the adults enjoyed the quite roomy master bedroom where we woke up to gorgeous morning light over the islands. Loved visiting with Dennis who is attentive and fun to talk to. Loved being off the grid, and we think you will, too!

Margaret and I were so thankful to host their family who were all very polite! We highly recommend them and her family to other hosts! They left the cottage in perfect condition and treated it as if it were there own! Cleaner was impressed also at what good shape they left the Starfish Cottage by the Sea! Our stay was fantastic! The cottage was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and beautiful with stunning water views—we saw seals and porpoises almost every day right from the property, and even spotted a whale on our final morning!The yard was great for our family: the kids loved the swings and hammock, and there was plenty of open space for us to toss a football around. Evenings were spent around the fire pit or relaxing in the screened-in deck. During the day, we enjoyed local highlights like the lighthouse, Roosevelt Campobello International Park, and scenic forest trails. Plus, the selection of indoor games kept us entertained.Note for larger groups: There is only one bathroom, so plan accordingly, but it worked fine for us.The Starfish Cottage made our trip to the island truly special—a wonderful place to stay!

Our stay at Starfish Cottage was magical- we couldn’t believe how perfect it was for our family! The view and yard were incredible, and loved all the little details the hosts put into the cottage.

Very nice, clean and amazing views! The master is beautiful, with a little electric fireplace and amazing views. Pet friendly, or two little chihuahuas had a great time here too!

We loved having Patti and her family at the oceanfront Starfish Cottage! We highly recommend her to other hosts as she treated the cottage as if it were her own and left the cottage in great shape!

A pleasant place to stay on Campobello Island

Lovely views from the cottage of the ocean and the sunset. We enjoyed seeing the lobster boat come close to the shore each morning, and having our breakfast in the screened porch. We enjoyed our stay.

This property was as magical as Campobello Island itself. The cottage is designed to look and feel as if you are on a ship. Looking out the grand windows to the water below it’s easy to imagine you are indeed floating at sea. We look forward to returning to this place for more exploring and hiking on the island and relaxing at Starfish, our comfy, cozy home away fr home

Family Reunion

Starfish cottage is an amazing place to stay while visiting Campobello Island. It has everything you need and more along with a view that just can’t be beat! Highly recommend this beautiful cottage!!!!

The view was just incredible. We saw whales, seals and porpoises every day.

We were very pleased with all aspects of the property. Dennis greeted us shortly after we arrived.

Tracey was a great guest! She enjoyed all that the Starfish has to offer! She left the cottage in great condition and we highly recommend her to other cottage and accomodation owners.

Adorable Cottage Overlooking the Ocean

Absolutely adorable cottage in great location. 10 min drive to most things. Didnt have to leave the backyard to see whales, seals, and Eagles! Super clean, cozy, and homey feel.

Arrived to s beautifully kept and clean cottage. The views were spectacular, the beds were extremely comfortable. The cottage was well appointed with everything that one could need.Dennis dropped by to say hello and make sure we were happy. He responded to messages promptly and was very kind.We celebrated our 30th anniversary here and absolutely fell in love with the area. Highly recommend the Starfish Cottage and Dennis.

Beautiful cottage

After a wonderful stay at the Starfish Cottage a few years ago, I came back with my mom for a second visit. The cottage is perfect and well-maintained -- the views from the main bedroom, kitchen, and deck can't be beat. We were greeted on our first morning by a bald eagle in the backyard and thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Looking forward to coming back again.

A Beautiful Location

Starfish cottage was a perfect jumping off point for many enjoyable hikes in Campobello park. The park trails are well maintained and well marked. We also found the shop keepers friendly and helpful. Just wish the weather could have been nicer so we could have enjoyed the beautiful screened porch!

The oceanfront Starfish Cottage is a fantastic spot to enjoy the ocean views, breezes, wildlife and convenience of its location which is only one mile from the famous Head Harbour Lighthouse and the Head Harbour Wharf. We are so glad George and his wife enjoyed the cottage and the wonderful Island of Campobello and highly recommend them to other hosts!

Picturesque

What a wonderful stay! The cottage was a beautiful place to stay. My Mom and I enjoyed waving to all the boats going by and just relaxing on the deck. The beauty from the deck makes it hard to go see the rest of the island! Seeing whales, dolphins, seals and bald eagles everyday of our visit put this over the top! The sunsets were amazing too! Can not wait to go back!!

Fun girls trip

Perfect!!! The cottage was more than we could have imagined. The view was spectacular, and we saw whales from the back yard. There was something for everyone from ages 10 to 60. I would encourage anyone to book their stay at the starfish cottage.

Peaceful quiet paradise

Lovely stay in a quaint and tastefully decorated cottage with everything needed for a relaxing visit. The master bedroom views are fabulous and sunsets are indescribable. I may have lucked out with such sunny and warm weather in later September as that was perfect also. Plenty to do in terms of relaxing, reading, exploring nearby particularly Roosevelt Campobello International Park which I visited three times. Fun Trip!

Beautiful Starfish Cottage

Beautiful property, very comfortable cottage plus great communication with our host. Very accommodating. The whale watch boat was down, but the whales came--two sightings- from the backyard deck along with seals, osprey, eagles and loons. We walked the mile to Harbor Head Lighthouse. Restoring stay.

We loved hosting Pamela! She was a great guest and we highly recommend her to other hosts. It looks like Pam meant to put 5 stars but accidently put one star in the rating but the written part says it all!! Hope you can return!

Inter generation family get together

Location location location for tranquility, serenity and solitude. The property is a gem with a million dollar view. We enjoyed some outings but for the most part we occupied ourselves relaxing on the deck and screened in porch: games , puzzles and watching for the elusive whale. The weather was excellent, between 18 and 23 degrees, a little rain but mostly sun. Wish we had time to stay longer!

Margaret and I are from Evansville, Indiana and in 1988 with a 1 and 3 year old we went looking for a summer home to enjoy with our family and hopefully for future generations. We purchased the Sea Urchin Cottage and bought the private abutting cottages over the years and summer of 2024 will be our 36th year of renting and enjoying our family which now includes 8 grandchildren newborn to 12! The SUNSETS ARE SPECTACULAR FROM THE STARFISH COTTAGE! A very nice place for children with its large and flat yard! The views of the Whales, boats and wildlife is great at the Starfish Cottage!
