Nice house, good location

The house (especially the exterior) is really nice; infinity pool and terraces/ porch. Interior offers everything you need. Although the badroom needs some renovation, lots of water leaking from the shower and causing fungus. Same goes for the dishwasher. The house is located in a very quiet villa area with beautiful views on the surrounding mountains. Would recommend to rent a car to be able to reach the seaside and villages easily.

The perfect location for us

We have just stayed at Villa Can Jaume La Font and really loved it there. For us the location was perfect, rural but only a 15 minute level walk into town. The villa was very clean, well equipped and the owner had provided a very generous welcome hamper which was really nice of them. Eroski & Lidl supermarkets are very close by. We walked back from town every night and although the road is not lit, we felt very safe. Great base for exploring if you have a hire car. Breakfast in the morning on the terrace listening to nothing but the sound of the birds singing was heaven. It would be nice to have had some TV channels in English. We would love to return in the future.

Thank you for leaving your review we're delighted you enjoyed it. There are about 6 to 8 English channels mostly news like BBC world service, although it's possible to get more through the WiFi if you have an ipad or laptop.

The villa was very comfortable, with the air con on heat.Everything is very convenient. Plenty of parking.Tidy garden with lemon and olive trees & fantastic views in all directions. Birds of prey above.On a quiet lane, but close to the main road, with easy access to Pollenca town and Port Pollenca etc., and supermarkets. Pleasant walk along a lane to access the old town via the Roman bridge.Colin, the Rep is easily contactable and very helpful.We even met the owner on the lane a couple of times, and he was very friendly.We’ve been before, and hoped to book again for May; but of course it was booked!We will be back.

Nettes Haus in ruhiger Lage, nah genug an Supermarkt und Pollença. Pool sehr schön sowie das Grundstück gepflegtes Zitronen- und Olivenbäume im Garten und gute Ausstattung des Hauses.

Tolle Lage

Ruhig und dennoch dicht genug an der Stadt Pollenca gelegen, um dort zu Fuß das Leben auf dem wunderbaren Marktplatz zu genießen. Von der großen Terasse und dem sauberem Pool aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick ins Gebirge. Wir wurden mit einem netten Willkommenspaket begrüßt und bei zwei Beanstandungen von unserer Seite aus, hat die Hausverwaltung sofort reagiert. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.

Amazing, beautiful villa nestled in the mountainside

This is a fantastic villa and we will definitely be returning. It is surrounded by the Majorcan mountains and has lush green shrubbery around the villa. So relaxing to watch the sun set behind the mountains as you sit around the pool with a beer. Great pool, good size for a family of four, it's actually an infinity pool which you can't see from photos. We played table tennis and cooked giant king prawns and steak on the barbecue. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and all really clean. Beautiful Pollenca town centre is a short 15 minute walk where we would fed the local donkey on the walk there. The villa is on a quiet road with a few other villas around it. There's two showers and WC's. Villa is lovely and clean and is owned by James, a really great guy who lives along the road. He left a brilliant welcome pack with everything we needed to cook dinner that night and alcohol. If you're a family of two, three or four and looking for a beautiful villa surrounded by beauty then book this place.

An oasis of tranquillity

Lovely villa , traditional build and set in a quiet location with private pool and garden. Well equipped kitchen. . Perfect for a couple or small family. As only one bathroom. Walking distance to the old town of Pollenca. Great market on Sundays. Short driving to beaches and supermarkets.

Lovely House

Lovely house in a great spot on the outskirts of Pollenca, charming owner and very clean, tidy and well maintained . Had almost everything we needed , a few more UK tv channels would have been great for my youngest daughter but wasn't a big problem. We walked into Pollenca most days and it is a very easy flat walk and takes about 20 minutes which was great. Booking with Vida Villas was straight forward and they were very helpful and knowledgable about the area. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Sehr schönes Haus mit ansprechender Aussenanlage

Wir fanden ein sehr schönes Domizil vor, welches leider einige Defizite ausweist. Schimmel an den Fliesen der Badewane, undichte Toilette, schmutzige Tischdecke (hätte man besser weg gelassen), auf das Sofa haben wir uns nur mit aufgelegtem Handtuch gesetzt, im Bad hingen Spinnweben ca 20cm lang von den Deckenbalken, der Chrom Handtuchheizkörper war matt, weil er vermutlich seit Monaten nicht gereinigt wurde. Die Fenster machten den Eindruck, dass Sie mit dem Lappen geputzt wurden, mit dem vorher der Boden gewischt wurde. Wenn die Sonne rein schien, konnte man tatsächlich fast nicht nach draussen sehen. Auch wenn die genannten Sachverhalte nicht schön waren, hatten wir eine schöne Zeit im Háus.

Wir ermutigen die Leute immer, sich mit uns in Verbindung zu setzen, wenn es etwas gibt, mit dem sie nicht zufrieden sind, und wir können es sehr oft positiv machen und es korrigieren, was ich ganz sicher bin, dass wir es getan hätten, wenn Sie mit uns darüber Kontakt aufgenommen hätten. Leider haben Sie nichts erwähnt, während Sie hier waren, was wäre vorzuziehen, um negatives Feedback zu schreiben und wir haben keine Gelegenheit, es zu korrigieren.

Schönes Haus in idyllischer Lage

Gut eingerichtetes, gepflegtes Haus. Sehr gute Betten. Leider kein Mückenschutz an den Fenstern. Schöner Pool in großem Garten. Sensationell die Zitronenbäume. Die Küche leider gänzlich ohne Salz/Gewürze o.a. bestückt. Wenn man sehr spät ankommt, ist das problematisch. Wifi vorhanden, aber nur sehr sporadisch. Die Abtrennung an der Badewanne müsste neu abgedichtet werden.

Thanks for your review, just a note that the bathtub has now been replaced by a walk in shower. We are not allowed to leave opened food products including spices and salt due to health and safety issues. If you are arriving late we recommend that your order a welcome pack so that you have provisions when you arrive otherwise I am afraid you will not find any food products in the property. Glad you enjoyed it.

Pleasant and comfortable

Our only criticism would be that the table tennis table was past it's best! The villa was very well presented, spotlessly clean, and surprisingly well equipped - it even had a tea-pot! The welcome pack was probably the best and most comprehensive I've seen ! The villa is in a quiet sub-urban setting backing onto the hills. 5 mins drive to supermarkets and a 30 min walk to Pollenca centre and restaurants, across the Ponta Roma, that is pleasant enough (you might want a torch for the return journey at night). Owner was friendly. We used the small pool (late October) but the sea was warmer. Pollenca is a good base if you want to have good access to the coast without being in a coastal resort.

Nirvana

We booked this villa because it promised solitude, a VERY private pool and luxury. It did what it said on the tin. The furniture around the pool was very comfortable and perfect for working on the suntan. We don't normally go back to the same place twice but this time we may make an exception.

Fantastic villa and location!

Beautiful villa with an infinity pool. Terraces to dine on with beautiful views of pool and mountains . Within easy walk of old town of Pollença for amazing variety of restaurants. Really a perfect location and a well maintained villa with beautiful plants not to mention fresh figs from the tree for breakfast! Perfect!
