Can't beat the view and location

Loved the patio space overlooking the most amazing view. Comfortable Villa close to the town of Dominical. Dave West was really great and very responsive to all our needs.

Amazing

We found the perfect get-a-way for my husband and I. Our favorite place was having coffee on the patio overlooking the ocean and listening to the birds every morning. Dave our host was super friendly and helpful to tell us places to eat or visit. We were close to the jungles, ocean and waterfalls. The house was exactly as described and in a quiet, gated area. We loved staying here!

Breathtaking view

You'll know you've made a good choice as soon as you open the door, trust me. The host have been very responsive and also provided us with tons of valuable information about what to do/see in the area.

Beautiful and relaxing ocean views

Beautiful views! We loved morning coffee on the patio watching the ocean, birds and the lizards! Surprise large iguana hung out with us one morning! Humidity levels were a bit of a surprise but that probably helped us kickback more. The yoga studio at the entrance to community was fabulous. Would recommend.

Just as described, plus super Super Host

Pictures and description are spot on. This place really has everything you need, plus it's an easy 5-min drive to Dominical. Dave the host provides a beyond-thorough list of activities in the area, perfect for those like me who aren't big on pre-planning the details. Not to mention some excellent restaurants I wouldn't have found without his recommendation (Ex. Crocodile Grill down a gravel road at Villas Rio Mar in Dominical).

Incredible View and Gorgeous Property

This property was truly something so special. Every detail of its design so thoughtful and the view: breathtaking! We stayed here at the end of Costa Rican adventure, and loved the ease and convenience of the location. Surfing at the beach five minutes, one of the nicest grocery stores we visited, amazing restaurants and the best wildlife viewing of our trip at the restaurants— monkeys & sunsets at La Parcela and a microbrews and a sloth! at Fuego, both great recommendations by Dave West. So grateful to have the chance to make unforgettable memories here, will dream of returning one day sooner rather than later!

Beautiful condo in Dominicalito. It was a great central place to stay to explore both Uvita and Manuel Antonio. The view is breathtaking. Loved the sunsets. We walked down to the beach a couple of nights for sunset and a nice walk. We love finding places that have a full kitchen, washer and dryer, space to enjoy, and a view. This ticked all our boxes! Dave was a wonderful host. Great communication. He sent a lot of very helpful information about the area, directions, restaurants, etc. There's a cafe steps from the condo gate entrance called Kunjani Cafe. To die for french toast with fresh fruit and coconut syrup - we had it two mornings in a row! We highly recommend.

Beautiful Place

The villas were lovely and the view breathtaking. Dave was fantastic. There was a sewage issue in this unit which caused dirty water to back up in showers and on the floor. Dave had it cleaned quickly and when it happened a second time he upgraded us at no charge to another villa. Overall we were happy and would definitely stay again.

Pristine getaway

This is my fourth and best trip to Costa Rica. Dominical is just greener and richer in animal life than I have experienced so far. The property has an amazing amount of walkable activities. Yoga/massage/spa at the entrance to the property, walkable beach access, and aspectacular restaurant on the beach.. The view and private pool ensures that you don't even need to go anywhere for a great day and sunset cocktail. We saw toucan and macaw from the back deck plus a wide variety of other tropical birds. Just gorgeous.

GREAT PLACE!

Dave was amazing! SOO accommodating, great communication and the place was gorgeous. The house was spotless, view was 5 star, and it had every amenity and necessity you’re could need to make the place feel like a home. I highly recommend this place to all types for your trip to Dominical!

One important note about this entire complex - not just this unit. If you are not at the very top of this complex, (17 is not at the top) you will clearly hear the semi-trucks during the day and especially at night - making it hard to enjoy the sounds of nature. The main highway is right below this area.

Tolle Blick, schönes Haus

Wir haben die 8 Tage im Haus Nr. 17 wirklich genossen. Der Blick ist einfach klasse und man kann sich gar nicht satt sehen. Nachdem uns Dave eine Gasflasche für den Grill besorgt hatte, konnten wir dann auch grillen. Der Grill ist zwar etwas "verbraucht", funktioniert aber. An Stromausfall und niedrigem Wasserdruck muss man sich in Costa Rica einfach etwas gewöhnen. Nachdem die Klimaanlage im Wohn-, Essbereich Wasser verloren hatte, kam direkt jemand ein sehr freundlicher Monteur zur Reparatur. Trotz der kleinen Mängel am Grill und Klimaanlage, können wir das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Relaxing Villa with Majestic Views

Great views from pretty much everywhere, nice indoor and outdoor spaces with your own grill and private pool. Great owner who is easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again. Note: I recommend 4x4 for this property and to explore this part of Costa Rica.

Beautiful home with the best view!

My husband, 14 y/o son and I stayed at this villa for five days, and loved every minute of it. It's convenient to the Dominicalito beach, and close to Dominical, with good restaurants, surfing lessons, and another good beach. Dave was very attentive. We had a problem with the air conditioner in one room, and were amazed that a repair person came out almost immediately to fix it. The recommendations in the villa's binder were spot-on, and we recommend: * Manuel Antonio, about an hour away * Sunset Surf for surfing lessons * Fuego Brew Co. * Phat Noodle * Reptilandia for snakes, turtles, lizards * Pozo Azul waterfall * The Jolly Roger for burgers and wings When we return to Costa Rica, we hope the villa is available again.

Nice home; very comfortable

Nice home; very comfortable; grill worked well; pool was fun; a/c could have been stronger in 1 bedroom - but was sufficient. Washer/Dryer did the job. A few additional condiments in the kitchen would be helpful to other guests (and a spare supply of toilet paper upon arrival). Would stay here again.

Breathtaking view!!

The Dominicalito Beach was great and so close! We went to the beach to swim and surf everyday. We found the patio was our families favorite space to spend most days and eat our meals. Then a dip or 2 in the pool to cool off. The view from the minute you enter the front door to every room is spectacular. Really ever detail of the villa was great. Also, you can see the ocean from every room! The view of Dominicalito never got old! Watching the surfers, fishing boats, paragliders, birds and the nice tropical breeze was wonderful. A toucan came right to the tree just off the patio one morning. My son and I saw a monkey right by villa on are way down to beach the second morning. A car with 4x4 is essential, the road is very steep and rough. It was a short walk down to the beach, but the uphill return would be very hot & difficult for most. The villa complex is built on a steep hill above the main coastal highway. There are great restaurants & very nice grocery store close by. Our favorite restaurant was Roca Verde because they had live music Friday nights. It was a lot of fun for the kids and us! Por Que No was also great for sunset sitting at the bar. Best dinner by far was Ylang Ylang in nearby Ojochal. Schedule an early AM nature hike at Hacienda Baru. We saw toucans, sloths, monkeys, wild pigs, lizards, and a variety of other birds. Also, the horse ride to the Nauyaca waterfall was amazing and a lot of fun!

It was great hosting Mike and his family for their visit to Dominical. As the manager of this property, one of the major benefits is being the concierge and making sure that our guests do not miss activities the area has to offer that are a good match for them. Not everyone wants to repel down a series of six waterfalls with the last one being 85 feet tall. With so many different tours and places of interest, each guest has so much to choose from and it becomes difficult to narrow it down to a few, including which places not to miss for dinner or breakfast. Mike and his family did not let any grass grow under their feet and managed to have a pretty full schedule. They were even able to sneak a few work hours in using the high speed cable internet which they said was a must before they secured the reservation. Another benefit is some of our guests spend a little of their vacation time with us when we invite them to the Secret Beach and they in turn invited Deb and I to join them for dinner at a local soda on their final night here. Meeting people from all over the world with such interesting backgrounds continues to be one of our favorite reasons for living in Costa Rica and “working” to make sure our guests have a great time. We hope they take advantage of our return guest discount we offer or anyone of their friends that mention their name. Hurry back Mike.
