Gorda Vista is located on a mountainside, surrounded by lushly forested jungle, overlooking Dominicalito Beach. At an altitude of 564ft above sea level it receives pleasant cooling breezes from both ocean and mountains.

It has been designed as the ideal vacation property making the most of it’s beautiful location and an outdoor living concept. It is perfect for a couple on a honeymoon, a romantic getaway or a family on an adventure vacation.

It is over 5 acres of completely private and secure paradise. You have the entire property to yourself, only having to share with the wildlife. Howler and white faced monkeys stop by regularly to eat from the surrounding trees. Toucans, hawks, hummingbirds, song birds, doves and butterflies are always nearby. To access our jungle villa there is a grand, electrically operated entrance gate within a 10 ft (3m) high security/privacy fence.

The 45-foot infinity edge lap pool has a wider area adjacent to the house which has a raised table and two tiled sunken chairs for you to relax in while sipping cocktails and watching the sun set into the ocean.

Gorda Vista was built and furnished to the highest specifications. The entire ground floor has been cleverly designed to integrate the pool, deck, rancho, covered terrace, kitchen and lounge into one outdoor living space. It can be easily changed into separate outdoor and indoor spaces by simply closing the large glass doors that are on two sides of the lounge wall.
The master bedroom has a large balcony with 2 deck chairs and a table to enjoy the best sunrise coffee you have ever experienced as you listen to the jungle “wake”. It also has 2 standing only balconies offering mountain and ocean views. It has air conditioning, kingsize bed, a large ensuite bathroom with a sandstone shower for two, his and hers sinks, separate toilet room and a ceiling fan. The second bedroom can be used for children or a couple as it has two single beds that can be placed together to make one kingsize bed. It has air conditioning, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom and 2 standing only balconies with ocean views. There is also a comfortable twin-size day-bed on the terrace for those afternoon naps.
The location of our property will make your vacation easy. Stores, restaurants and amenities are only a few minutes drive away. The beach is safe for swimming and beginner surfing. There are a great variety of nearby tours, activities and adventures for all ages and levels of excitement. We will be happy to discuss all your options when you arrive.
