DEER HAVEN is only 8 miles from Helen, GA, and Serenity Cellars is just a very short drive down the road. Serenity Cellars is a comfortable & cozy facility that features live music and wine tasting 7 days a week with vineyards on-premise.

Deer Haven is a cozy 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a master bedroom on the main floor with a bathroom accessible outside of the bedroom and two guest rooms upstairs with a shared bath. The stairs going up to the upstairs to the guest bedrooms and downstairs to the game room/laundry/hot tub are a little steep so please use caution and the handrail when going up and downstairs!

A full kitchen with a custom family-style wood dining table awaits you for hosting a great family dinner after a long day in town or on the trails. Gas grill on the main deck and charcoal grill by the fire pit are available please bring charcoal if you plan on using that grill.

Enjoy the hot tub in total privacy. Relax on the screened-in porch or by the fire pit. Smart TVs will give you all the options you need.

Play a game on the old school console game or foosball and try the board games the owner provided for our guests we also have upgraded to an arcade game and outdoor ping pong on the hot tub screened porch. You will not want to leave this cabin! Don't leave any of your family members behind, so bring your loved pets and enjoy a stay together, there is a flat spot out to the side of the cabin to walk your dog or across the street from the cabin there is another street to walk down to stretch their legs!

If you feel like getting out and doing something fun the Bavarian village of Helen is a short drive from the cabin to get to shops, restaurants, seasonal tubing, mountain coaster, axe throwing, escape rooms nad much much more!

Vineyards such as Serenity Cellars, Yonah Mountain Vineyards, Flyhawk Vineyards, Cenita are all a short drive as well from the property!

Nofo Brewery also is close by for those beer lovers, Live Music, and food trucks almost every weekend! Accommodations:

Fishing package available: Trout fishing in our private Blue Creek Trout pond stocked with Rainbow trout. Fishing Season: Spring March 1-June 15 and Fall October - November. Each package includes Access to the trout pond and blue creek area, catch and keep 10 trout max, no catch and release, and bring your own fishing equipment. Add the package at checkout or by calling the office.
Firewood is available for delivery. 3 bundles and starter (Delivered Monday - Friday Only)
Seasonally decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas Tree, right after Thanksgiving and taken down right after the New Year's holiday

We provide complimentary essential products to get you started for your stay, such as 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 trash bags, 2 laundry pods, 1 bath soap per bathroom, and 1 pack of coffee. Be sure to bring extra of these items and any other items you may need for your stay

We loved it!

It was cute little cabin tucked away. Everyday after hikes and the town we could go back to our corner of the world. We loved the cabin as much as we loved the town. It was packed with things to do. So much so my kids asked to go ā€˜homeā€™ whenever they could because honestly it was so well prepared.

The house is great! The covered porch with the tv, ping pong and hot tub was awesome. The small library and games made it so fun also! Only negative was the bathroom upstairs was very small!!! Would definitely stay again!

Lovely Mountain Retreat

This house had everything we needed to stay well-fed and entertained. I was able to make several meals for my family and never had an issue with not having the tools I wanted to do so. There were plenty of games, TVs, and other amenities to keep the young adults from getting bored. This was a very comfortable place to stay, and we all had a great time. The view from the back porch is beautiful, especially at sunrise!

Perfect Stay, Again!

I needed a place to relax and unwind, this property was just what I needed. It is tucked away on a tree lined street with a deck that wraps around so you get a Mountain View from all directions. The access to get inside was seamless. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there

Such a beauty!

Our family of 5 stayed right before the holidays! The cabin was so nice and cozy and decorated for Christmas. The kids loved the game room and we all loved the hot tub. We had some beautiful views in the morning from our back porch. Everything was easy and super clean. We cooked quite a bit and had everything we needed. Thanks for making our stay amazing!

Love the location

The location, living area and porch was wonderful for our group. The upstairs bathroom was disappointing. Upgrades are needed. The shower door would not stay closed and the space was too small. It could have used a better cleaning. The bedrooms, however, are spacious and very comfortable.

Deer Haven, So peaceful that a deer would live there.

My stay at deer haven was for enjoyable and relaxing. This cabin is the perfect getaway to be nestled into nature and have peaceful mornings on the patio, soaks in the hot tub with mood lighting, or enjoy a movie inside. Blue Creek Cabins makes sure you have all the info upfront, so you know exactly what you're getting. However, in the rare case that the info provided is not sufficient, they are quick to respond to answer any questions. No question in my mind of whether I would stay at one of their properties again. Fantastic hosts, and fantastic cabins.

Wonderful cabin and trip!

This is our second time in Deer Haven and our third time in a Blue Creek property. We had a wonderful trip and experience - Deer Haven is in a great location - close enough to all the things in Helen and other areas. We day-tripped to several other locations. The cabin had some updates and upgrades from our last time here. Our kids spent most of their time in the basement playing games. The cabin was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. We had no need to reach out to anyone during our stay as everything was just as we needed it to be. Thanks for a great experience!
