We have terminex spray the house quarterly for pests. To say you left early because the house is not clean is not accurate. After your departure, we had to have the air conditioning repaired because you or your guests froze it by keeping it so low and that’s why it didn’t work well for your stay. There are no surprises in the payments as everything is listed online. All deposits take two weeks to be returned by the website. Feel blessed we didn’t keep it for having to fix the AC after you left.

Our cleaning crew noticed after your stay that the A/C was not working properly also. They informed me that previous to your arrival, it was workings properly, so something must have happened in between your arrival and the cleaning crew finishing thier work. Unfortunately, we were never informed of the problem, so we were not able to solve it during your stay. After your departure, the cleaning crew informed me that the A/C in the master and all of upstairs was not working correctly. Sometimes guests can set the thermostat a bit low and it freezes the system up. We considered this may have been the case during your stay and didn’t want to bother you with repair costs or assumptions on our end. We had the A/C repaired and the whole system serviced after your departure and everything is working correctly now. All parts of the house cool and heat very well. We do apologize for the inconvenience and wish we had known earlier so we could have had it fixed immediately and made your stay more comfortable. We do appreciate the feedback so we can do our best to make sure other guests do not experience the same problem. We’d definitely enjoy the opportunity to provide a more care free stay should you ever look to rent a property in Austin again. Thank you and take care. Kevin

Good morning, Hilary I am so pleased to hear you enjoyed the property. We strive to make sure our guests feel at home and comfortable. I also appreciate when guests inform me of problems like the shower head. I am rarely in Austin to view the property myself, so it is helpful when people like yourself inform me of something that needs to be repaired or done better. I will send my property manager over today to install a new shower head. Should you decide to visit Austin again, I assure you there will be a shower head with proper power and no leaks.
