We had a fantastic week’s stay and would definitely recommend. We were lucky with some amazing weather, which meant we could enjoy the relaxed setting and lovely pool area. We swam in the pool every day and ate every meal outside. There is space in the garden to see the fish pond (fenced off), play table tennis and kick a football around, but the pool was the main draw.Inside, rooms are big and comfortable. Had the weather not been ideal we may have found it a little cramped for the whole family indoors, especially for eating, although we did all sit and watch a movie together in the living room (tv with Netflix).None of the following is a negative, but thought it might be helpful to clarify some things from the listing:1. The pool isn’t shared with the owners. They are next door but the pool/garden are separate and gated off. Liz would pop by and sort the pool filters and feed the fish around 1730 each day (kids “helped”) but it’s definitely private. Liz would also enter at the end of the garden, so not intrusive at all.2. Layout. 1 double bedroom upstairs (decent AC) with an open staircase to the living room. Downstairs rooms are in a line: living room, kitchen, hall to shower room, bunk bedroom, double bedroom. No AC downstairs.3. There are external doors from the bunk bedroom and from the kitchen.4. Nearest supermarket/fuel is 6 min drive. Closest Boulangerie 6 min drive. This place is properly rural, nothing walkable besides farmland and countryside.
