Superb Location

Cobblers Cottage was perfect for two people, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and quiet. The location of the cottage is excellent with a five minute walk to the beach and a two minute walk to the town. Sidmouth is a lovely little town with lots of shops.

Short stay in Sidmouth

Enjoyable stay despite the weather. Property well kept and well presented. A little on the small size to be picky. Had a dog with us, with the benefit of hindsight would have preferred a property with a garden and A little larger. Location excellent. Info prior to arrival very good.

We would have given a 5 star rating were it not for the broken toilet seat and floor tile in the bathroom. The owner got back to us very quickly to apologise. She was aware of the tile but not the seat. The handyman came the following morning, and the day after that to replace a light bulb in the kitchen. Had the big cushions (pictured) been on the sofa and cotton bedding available we might have found it more comfortable, and would in our view warrant the luxary label.

Hi Simone, Thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry that there had been a broken toilet seat and an issue with the tile, however we are pleased that this was able to be fixed and also have the kitchen lightbulb changed. We will also advise the Owner regarding the bedding and the big cushions. Thank you for letting us know! We do hope to welcome you back to stay with us again for a more comfortable stay! Good location

the cottage is very small (even smaller than we had expected eg the shower is very narrow) but is in a very good location near the centre of town. It was disappointing that no tea or coffee, or anything else like this, was provided. There is a Nespresso machine but no pods (except in a locked plastic container in the cupboard!) and we weren't able to find any in the local shops.
