Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (2ft 6in) Beds

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. LPG central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair. Welcome pack. . Front garden with sitting-out area, terrace and garden furniture. 5-acre grounds with (shared with owner). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are steps in the grounds.. Situated on the owners’ smallholding within 5-acre grounds, this lodge is located directly on the River Ayr Walk. This is a sea-to-source walk through the stunningly beautiful Ayrshire countryside and ideal for nature lovers, walkers and cyclists. Ayrshire is home to the Ayrshire Coastal Path, a 100-mile long coastal walk with one of the finest panoramic coastlines in the British Isles. Crowned with a superb backdrop of the ever-changing profile of the mountains of Arran across the Firth of Clyde, this coastline is steeped in history and teeming with wildlife, including red squirrels, deer, otters and seals, and is a haven for bird watchers.

Inland there are gardens and castles to visit, riding, racing and a choice of golf courses, with the world famous Turnberry close to hand. Culzean Castle (owned by the National Trust for Scotland) is spectacular and is Ayrshire’s most popular tourist attraction.

Ayrshire is the heart of ‘Burns’ Country’, steeped in tradition and history - you can visit Burns’ Cottage, The Burns’ Memorial Museum and the Brig o’ Doon (the bridge from the famous poem Tam o’ Shanter). Day trips to Ireland can be taken from Cairnryan, whilst a short drive leads to Ayr, a traditional seaside town. Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily reached for a day out. Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh are perfect for a day out, as is Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, with ferry links to the islands of Arran, Bute and Cumbrae all within easy reach. Tranquility lodge is the perfect get away from it all holiday and Andy & Sadie are the perfect hosts who can't do enough for you perfect if you have dogs who have the freedom to roam the 5 acres the lodge is fully equipped for all your needs plenty of walks and only minutes in the car if you want to shop, eat out or visit the many attractions the lodge is situated at the start of the AYR RIVER WAY WALK if you fancy the 44 mile trek its difficult to describe how good the lodge is other than tranquil I will go back we loved it and so did the dogs.

Fantastic little gem nice and out the way from the madness of the world fam loved it hosts where there when needed for anything at all Ayr town centre only 10mins away in car therefore not too far away for all amenities. Will definitely go back 🍀

Absolutely fab wee break so cosy and homely just what we needed Sadie and Andy are so nice like meeting old friends The welcome pack was amazing best ever …the horses were an added bonus was sorry to leave but will defo be back ❤️

Had a nice relaxing time.

Had a nice relaxing time. The hosts were excellent and were happy to go above and beyond for us to be comfortable and happy.The lodge had everything we needed and was cosy and warm. Fresh towels whenever required. Everything was clean and tidy.Our dog loved the place and had free reign to go anywhere on the grounds. She fell in love with Sadie and Andy as they was so good to her. The horses were amazing and we gave them apples and carrots.Brilliant chill out.Hope to visit again next year
