My wife and I spent five days at this lovely house. There were two bedrooms to choose from. Plenty of space to hang clothes and a shelf for smaller items, the air con in the bedroom worked very well. The kitchen has the basic items you need but another couple of mugs would be useful when the dishwasher was on. We both loved the small pool very refreshing at 9pm. My wife enjoyed the local cats and a very friendly dog greeted us each evening. Overall a very pleasant stay which I really recommend to any couple looking for a peaceful place to retire to each evening. We visited many local villages, the gorge to the south was fantastic. Bit quirky but the war museum was interesting. The local be olive oil manufacturer was also very friendly and helped with tastings etc.

Beautiful villa in the middle of the countryside. Had everything we needed for our stay, short drive to nearby village for food etc. 30 min drive to nearby coast. Host was great, easy to contact for any queries. We really loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Crete!

An amazing property in the hills of crete with stunning views. The owner was fantastic even when we locked ourselves out of the villa and helped us even though she was at her sisters wedding. Great English as well.

It’s a splendid villa that exceeded our expectations. It’s away from the crowds so after being around tourists all day it’s a welcome reprieve to retire with beautiful views to enjoy. The pool is wonderful touch given how warm the island is. The host is very welcoming and helpful and the villa is complete with everything one would need.

Amazing mountain views, ideal for family photo album.Very short distance to local village to get any essentials. The most welcoming and accommodating hosts, very friendly and helpful. Hi, we stayed at this beautiful villa for 8 days. The house was well equipped, the property clean and tidy. The whole compound is situated in a tiny village about 20min from the coast by car. The owner was great. Very helpful, kind and quick and easy to reach via messenger. Great support and service. Thank you. We had a great time.

A stunning villa tucked away in the mountains. If you are a couple and want total peace and relaxation this is the place to indulge yourself. The stars at night are incredible as there is zero light pollution. The house is spotless and the kitchen is so well stocked. The owner left us some food upon arrival which was so kind. There is a coal BBQ area to enjoy in the garden. The pool is such a welcome and necessary accessory. Beaches are 20+ minutes drive away and as others have said it is only accessible by car. The owner Chrysa was incredible. We had a problem with our flights and a short planned power cut and Chrysa was available to answer any questions immediately. We are so thankful to her. We will be back.

Wir hatten wunderschöne 10 Tage in der Villa Vicilla. Ruhe, Sonne, Abkühlung im Pool und absolute Privatsphäre! Das einzige, was man aus der näheren Umgebung wahrnimmt, sind ein krähender Hahn und das Glockenbimmeln wenn die Ziegen von A nach B getrieben werden. Das Haus bzw. das komplette Grundstück sind in sehr gutem Zustand und schön eingerichtet.

We spent 11 wonderful days at this villa in Crete, and everything was absolutely perfect. The welcome was exceptional. Since I had mentioned that we would be arriving late and probably would not have eaten, our host had kindly prepared some food for us, as well as eggs and other items for breakfast the next morning. This thoughtful gesture allowed us to start our stay peacefully without having to go grocery shopping first thing in the morning. Our host was incredibly attentive. She regularly checked in on us, shared great tips and recommendations, and did everything she could to make sure we had the best possible stay. The house is beautiful, very comfortable to live in, and perfectly maintained. The swimming pool is also fantastic. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the linen smelled lovely. The location was ideal for us, close to beautiful places and lovely beaches, while still allowing us to enjoy the peace and quiet of the villa. We truly have nothing negative to say. It was an excellent stay in a beautiful, clean, and comfortable house, with a wonderful and caring host. We highly recommend this villa!

Es waren wundervolle Tage. Wir waren zu dritt zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind. Das Haus hat alles was benötigt wird und die Terrasse und der Pool sind ein Traum. Beim Abkühlen in die Berge schauen, morgens mit einem wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang aufstehen, traumhaft. Wer Ruhe und Erholung und vor allem Privatsphäre sucht, der ist hier absolut richtig. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen. Wer wirkliche Ruhe, einen schönen Ausblick und Entspannung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Abseits des Touristen troubles. Aber das wollten wir auch. Einfach herrlich. Die Unterkunft ist super ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Die Betten sind super bequem. Der Pool ist echt sehr viel Wert. Die Sonne zeigt den ganzen Tag auf die Terrasse, da ist Abkühlung wirklich wunderbar. Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft wählen. Vielen lieben Dank.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa war einfach traumhaft – in Wirklichkeit ist sie sogar noch schöner als auf den Fotos und hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Die Lage ist perfekt: sehr ruhig und erholsam, sodass man wunderbar abschalten kann, aber trotzdem ist man in kurzer Zeit am Strand oder bei tollen Restaurants. Das Haus war makellos sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet – wirklich alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden. Besonders begeistert hat uns die atemberaubende Aussicht, die jeden Morgen und Abend zu etwas Besonderem gemacht hat. Es ist der ideale Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und gleichzeitig die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und haben uns sogar traditionelles Essen bereitgestellt. Die Tage dort waren super. Eine super ruhige Umgebung - genau das Richtige, wenn man mal nicht von lauter Touristen umgeben sein möchte. Man ist trotzdem innerhalb von 15/20 Minuten bei einem Strand/Supermarkt/etc. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und hatte alles, was man brauchte. Die Ausstattung in der Küche war super. Das hab ich schon anders erlebt. Wenn wir nochmal auf Kreta in der Nähe sind, kommen wir gerne wieder. Kleiner Geheimtipp: die Sonnenuntergänge über den Dächern. ☺️

Das Haus liegt sehr schön im Hinterland, man hat eine tolle Aussicht und es ist eine ländliche, ruhige Umgebung. Es ist hübsch eingerichtet und man hat alles, was man braucht. Lediglich die Kochutensilien sind sehr basic, wenn man nicht vorhat viel zu kochen aber ausreichend. Wir haben unsere Woche dort sehr genossen und unsere Gastgeberin war sehr aufmerksam, zwei Mal haben wir sogar etwas zu essen bekommen - danke dafür! Wir würden das Haus allerdings nur für ein Paar oder eine kleine Familie empfehlen: es gibt ein zweites Bett, welches sich aber im Wohnzimmer/Durchgangszimmer befindet. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen!

Das Haus und die Gegend entsprach genau dem was wir gesucht haben. Kleines Häuschen mit allem was man benötigt. Kleiner, sehr sauberer Pool für die morgendlichen und abendlichen Erfrischungen. Das gesamte Objekt war in einem sehr guten und sauberen Zustand. Die Gegend absolut ruhig und schön abgelegen aber mit Auto problemlos zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr um unser Wohlergehen besorgt und bei Fragen meist per WhatsApp, wurde umgehend reagiert. Wir hatten im Oktober 2024 zwei wunderschöne Wochen hier verbracht und den Westen bis Heraklion täglich erkundet. Jeder Zeit wieder!

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Erholung ist hier gewiss. Allerdings benötigt man hier ein Auto da es sehr abgelegen liegt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, umfangreich eingerichtet und die Vermieter sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir waren jetzt hier zum 3. Mal. Gerne und bestimmt wieder.
