Only 75 minutes from the twin cities. The cabin is spacious with ample interior & exterior spaces. Summertime guest will LOVE the oversized, 24'x16' dock platform, large patio area, screened gazebo for bug-free summer evenings. The spring fed lake is clean and weed free swimming area .

Indoor spaces offer vaulted ceiling, loft with 2 BR, BA, and sitting area. Main level offers 2 BR, BA, living room, dining room, kitchen, pantry, fireplace. Pool table & sauna in lower level.

**ABSOLUTELY NO PETS** Owners have pet allergies.

The entire interior was recently renovated & updated in 2017.

Beautiful and spacious

We loved our weekend stay. Lots of windows to let the sun shine through. The view of the lake was spectacular and the lake access was extremely easy for us to ice fish. The home is very open, spacious, and clean. We used the sauna for two days straight and it really felt nice to relax in there. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could think of. Everyone was also fasticinated by the history of the home as well and how it has stayed with the family for generations. Ryan was super helpful and called me to help with our check in. Thank you for letting us stay for the weekend Ryan.

Big Fish Lake, Cold Spring Mn

This beautiful home provided our family with a memorable vacation summer. The views of the lake from the gazebo and massive deck are stunning. Bedroom and LR views to the lake equally as perfect. The kitchen is fully furnished with every cooking pot and utinsel a cook could need. We even found the perfect need, a crock pot. Seasonings are stocked with everything including rosemary! The kids loved the pool table in the basement and pool table is kid friendly. Big docks we all enjoyed fishing off the dock every night and fish were biting for the kids. Water is so clear kids could see the fish. Swimming diving platform provided afternoon entertainment. Plenty of refrigerator space for all beverages and food. Our only regret is that we don’t own this home as we would move and never leave. Looks like a winter retreat for cross country skiing on the lake. Our favorite thing, the screened in gazebo with round card playing table and lights at night. Cold Spring a few miles away, easy in and out for groceries. Horseback riding a nine iron away...I could go on..we recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for perfect vacation. The owners are helpful and completely available for any questions needing answering. We thank them so much for their hospitality. John and Ann Carder, Phoenix, AZ

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin and property were incredibly clean and communication with the owners was great. We spent most of our time on the dock- swimming was perfect for the kids (ages 7, 8 & 10). The water is very clear and the diving dock kept them very busy. We spent one day in town at the park & splash pad with a stop at the bakery. We hope to stay here again next summer! Thank you!

Simply wonderful!

A perfect summer vacation! This property comes with everything you need to have a relaxing trip. My father who is often hard to please kept referring to it as heaven, as did the rest of us. We can't wait to come back! Thank you so much for sharing this gem!

Family vacation

The location was perfect for our family and the house was just the right amount of space. It was very comfortable and had so much to offer! Highlights included a picnic lunch on the dock, watching the loon family on the lake, and playing pool in the basement. The kids decided the screened-in gazebo was their “clubhouse” and many official-looking meetings were held. The sunset views were breathtaking and were a great way to wind down after a day on the water.

Wonderful time, great location and setup for our family

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Big Fish Lake. The cabin was nicely renovated. The dock was INCREDIBLE. We spend most of our time and there was plenty of room for the whole family to be out there at the same time. The patio area was great for evening fires or as another location to hang out. The kids enjoyed the screened in gazebo where they could play cards or board games without worrying about the bugs. There was plenty of parking and space for everyone. We look forward to coming back next summer. For anyone reading this and considering this cabin, you definitely want to check out the Cold Spring Bakery, it's wonderful but you either need to get in there early or better yet, order the day before to ensure you get what you want.
