We loved the cabin. This was our first trip as a family with a 11 month old and it was great. Trout fished the river the entire time. Had some good success with that. The host were great and helped out immediately if any problems come up. We’ve been here a few times already and plan on coming back many more times.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was beautiful and according to our dogs the grass was greener, softer and much more tasty than home! The cabin was clean and cozy and felt like home. Having the front porch and back porch was so nice the sound of the river in the back and the breeze thru the trees in the front. Beds were comfy. Make sure you step outside into the front yard to see the starts at night it was truly amazing. This was a personal problem for me but the rest of my party was fine. I recently had knee surgery and navigating the slope to the river was a bit difficult and I needed assistance. In the pictures it seemed to be less of a slope which was one reason I picked the cabin, for myself and our senior dog. We both managed. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Great place to stay for the family and the pets.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The river is right out the back door. The back porch has gates at each stairway, there is a baby gate for the stairs inside. The front yard is nice and big, our pets are welcomed and there is even a water bowl on the back porch for him. The home was clean and the host is so kind. I don't think I seen my son but for a breif moment, as he spent all his time fishing at the river. We definitely are looking forward to coming back!

Sobre o anfitrião

Anfitrião: Randy and Bridget Adams

Imagem do perfil do anfitrião
Hello we are Randy and Bridget Adams. We grew up right here in the mountains of western North Carolina. We enjoy hiking, fishing, tubing and going to the lake. We enjoy sharing all these adventures with our family and friends. We started our snowbird adventure here at this very cabin and we fell in love with it from the start. We now look forward to helping you make the same great memories with your friends and family!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

This cabin is the outdoor enthusiasts dream. After just a few steps off the back porch a person can be either casting a line into some of the best fishing in the area or relaxing while floating down the river on a tube. Easy travel to all area attractions. Whether your looking for a relaxing serene hideaway or a hardcore outdoor adventure this cabin is right in the middle of it all.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Sitting by the fire or having coffee on the front porch hoping to catch a glimpse of some of the native wildlife is just a couple of the things that made us fall in love with this cabin. Knowing this place had or was just around the corner to all the activities we enjoy while still being able to be in the middle of one the last natural undeveloped areas gives a person such a sense of relaxation and joy! The large yard and the flat road allow kids to play like it was when we grew up passing ball riding bikes and splashing in the creek looking for crawfish!
