We found the apartment just as advertised and explained in communication. We were met by cleaning person who showed us around. Our host was quick to respond to inquiries. Kitchen was fully equipped. Nice to have coffee every morning and a quick fix for snacks at night. Plenty of food shopping options nearby. We slept 5 adults/teens comfortably. Quick trip to Waterloo Station, Eye, Tate Modern!

Quick Trip to London

This flat was perfectly located in London, close to all major modes of transportation and major sights. We had a great view of the London Eye from the front door, which was beautiful at night! Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Location

One could not choose a better proximity to the sites and events we wanted to experience. Most within walking distance, plenty of choices for eats and drinks and comfortable accommodations.

Excellent apartment in Waterloo

Friends trip to London and could not have found a better location and apartment to stay at. Close to Waterloo train station. 5 minute walk to tons of restaurants and pubs. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Great family flat

Our family of 5 found this flat to be perfect for us. The host was easy to communicate with ahead of time and check in was easy. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. A short walk to the Waterloo station made it easy for us to get everywhere we needed to be.

Cute apartment - Great place to stay.

This location actually works very well to walk to the heart of London, which we did every day!! Nice to go back where it was a little quieter. Visit Gail's for awesome bakery, the Duke of Sussex is fun at night for a drink and go to the Imperial War Museum which is free!! The park next store is also a lot of fun and be sure and eat the chicken and rice/beans there.

The taylors

Was within walking distance toe everything the neighbours are kind of messy but quite nice. Excellent pubs in area the flat served it’s purpose but if you are looking for luxury go elsewhere.

Hi, I am sorry you didn’t feel the apartment was luxury, we certainly don’t advertise it to be that. Hence the reflection in the very good price for a 3 bedroom in central London. There is very little we can do about the neighbors… hopefully you can find something luxury in your price point next time!

NJ takes on London

Flat was perfect for what we needed (3 night stay) location was great to navigate through the city. Reception was warm and welcoming. Only suggestion is if your not use to “city life” a travel sound machine will help drown out unfamiliar noises. It was nice to have plenty of towels.

The flat is in Waterloo, very central and very close to many train and tube stations - Lambeth North, Waterloo, Waterloo East and Southwark. Easy to walk to many places south of the river and you get a nice view of the London Eye. The flat is up 3 flight of stairs with no lift. The flat itself is decent, enough for 4 adults and 2 children but there is only 1 separate toilet room and 1 shower although this shower is very large. The place could do with a bit of improvements e.g. fixing minor broken items and repainting or replacing the carpet but overall was a great stay. We wanted a flat so we could stay together and have the full flat to use rather than confined in hotel rooms. The kitchen is very well-equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, washing powder, washing up liquid, coffee, tea, sugar, cutlery, plates, hob, oven and fridge freezer. The living room is not huge but was fine for the family. They had a 3 seater sofa and 2 chairs at the side with a dining table with 4 chairs and smart TV. The bedrooms had double beds and plenty of room but not many facilities for storage of belongings. The luggage rack was a nice touch though. Overall, the stay was great, location was brilliant. The children had a great time. Neighbourhood was very accessible and had plenty of options for restaurants and shops. Communication with the host was clear and prompt. The rooms were tidy but could do with a bit more cleaning.

Spacious & Great Location

The apartment was spacious which worked well for our group. We did run into an issue on which there was no power in the bedrooms... We reached out to the property manager and was told this was due to an issue with the previous guest, we were hoping it was fixed during our stay... Initially scheduling was an issue, but it ultimately did not get fixed at all during our stay. Outside of that I would recommend.

Great getaway - flat met all of our needs.

We stayed the beginning of June. We would leave in the morning and not get back until late, so it really was for sleeping and getting ready in the morning. We found the flat to be comfortable and we were able to walk to so many locations. It is a 3 bedroom and my sons liked not sharing a room. The bathroom is separated with a toilet in one room and a shower and sink in a separate room. There are no outlets in the bathroom, but there is a large mirror and many outlets in the living room so using hair dryer, etc was easy. It is near an ambulance bay so one night we did hear some street noise as we kept windows open. It felt safe and was a good value for the cost. The location was so convenient. The manager was friendly and responsive.

Wonderful apartment in Waterloo

This flat is in a great location - 5 minutes to walk to Waterloo station and from there we could go anywhere easily! “Lower marsh/ southbank is right outside the door. Hannah was very helpful/very responsive during the booking and lead up to our stay. Nichola met us at check in and was absolutely amazing. We had a little problem finding the flat because google maps brought us to the wrong property but we figured it out. The mattresses should be replaced . And the toilet fill rate should be addressed ( takes a veeeerrry long time). Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time. The flat was clean and there was enough room for the 4 of us to be very comfortable! It was surprising quiet. You can view the london eye from the window! I would 100% recommend- unless anyone in your party has trouble walking up stairs - it is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Happy travels!

Good location, messy building

The apartment is in a good location that is walking distance to the train station and Imperial War Museum. Some decent restaurants in the neighborhood but nothing I would highly recommend returning to eat. Now, the building is probably built in the 1950’s and looks that way. It has the appearance of tenement apartments. The unit is on the fourth floor so don’t bring heavy suitcases as there is no elevator. The neighbors were quiet but quite messy as you can see in the pictures. Laundry hanging outside doors and personal items visible from front doors. Cigarette butts in a container outside the front door. The interior was clean and acceptable for being old. My bed was comfortable but my son said he felt the springs on his mattress. The toilet is an older style and will take about 5-10 minutes for the tank to refill so don’t everyone get up at the same time. Now, a very big issue we had for four days was NO Wi-Fi as the unit host promised to get it fixed but never did. In today’s world Wi-Fi is a necessity, and this was an extreme inconvenience. We had to pay extra through our own provider to get any outside communication. Would submit pictures but not seeing where I can do this. I do not recommend this vrbo for the price we paid

We offered you a dongle for the wifi free of charge for your stay hot you declined this. We are sorry for the technical issues in the area but that is not our fault as you can imagine we didn’t want it to happen. It was out of our control. Also the neighbours laundry is also not something we can control. I am sorry it wasn’t to your liking - but when you are inside the flat it’s lovely! And I can see all of your comments are about outside the flat - So we are glad everything was comfortable for your stay! We do say in the listing there is no elevator. We hope this can help others to make a more balanced choice :)

Appartement trois chambres, idéal si on voyage avec des adolescents. Ménage fait en milieu de séjour, c'est un plus très appréciable. Parfaitement situé : Bus, métro et gare de Waterloo en moins de cinq minutes, Big Ben en moins de vingt minutes à pied.

Es war die Ausstattung.Die Küche war dreckig.Zwar wurde uns immer zeitnah weitergeholfen (Licht im WC defekt und Heizung im Wohnzimmer funktionierte nicht).Aber bei dem Preis haben wir etwas anderes erwartet.

I am not sure where this has come from since you told me you had an “excellent stay “ so this has come completely out of the blue - we are ALWAYS on hand to help with anything guests need. And you mentioned nothing about anything being unclean and we had the light fixed (bulb changed and heater fixed) as soon as you mentioned this. Within 2 hours of arriving. Sometimes these things happen and we are sorry for this but it’s only normal!!! If you felt you needed some additional equipment, we could have tried to help. You have been very harsh and unkind to us and that will catch up with you. Such a shame you could not be an honest person with us. Best of luck with your life!

Short-Trip London

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und es war alles vorhanden. Die Schlüsselübergabe war perfekt organisiert. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt und man ist überall sehr schnell. London-Eye ist aus der Küche und Schlafzimmer zu sehen ! Es sollten aber die Matratzen ausgetauscht werden, diese sind schon sehr durchgelegen und man merkt die Springfedern. Würde jederzeit wieder buchen !

Oh goodness! When we spoke you said everything was great - it’s very hard to help make your day better or to change something (if we can!) if we don’t know what’s happened. I have no idea why you have given just 3 stars?? Please don’t do this again to hosts - please allow them to help you during your stay to make it the best possible experience! We do want you to have a good stay! What a shame… I do wish I could have known at the time. Little I can do now :(
