The property was as described in the reviews and posting - it’s about halfway between Queens Park Station and Kilburn Park Station. It was very convenient for our family of 2 parents and 2 teens: not fancy, but it was clean, quiet, comfortable, and competitively priced.

Mida and Tony provided a wonderful and convenient place to stay that was really close to the city and provided great amenities both in the Apt itself and within the Neighborhood… lots of good options around the booking- but also super accessible to the City and provided for a great first experience in London

great place

the place is on a quiet street, but pubs, bakeries and the train are around the corner. it is a bit far from cental london by cab because of the turns and traffic, but some of us walked to and from every london destination every day - it was perfect for our family of 5 adults

Nice place, close to 3 Underground stations

Enjoyed the stay and it was used as a hub to catch the Underground into downtown London. Beds were comfortable and place was clean. Couches (futons) could stand updating as they are quite lumpy and uncomfortable. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Wonderful space from which to explore London

This flat provided a great space for us to relax in between touring many of the sights around London. It was convenient to the Tube, had all the necessities for dining in when we wanted to, was bright and airy, and it had the extra bonus of a washer/dryer we could use. The host was responsive and helpful, and we would highly recommend this flat to anyone looking for a great place to stay in London!

First trip to London

We spent a wonderful week at this flat. It made our first visit to London, very comfortable and convenient. There was a small issue with one of the showers, but the property manager was on top of it right away and kindly offered and processed a credit for the inconvenience.

Central and nice flat

Spaceous apartment, easy accessible, short metro distance from London centre, well equipped kitchen (though somewhat worn-out frying pans). 3 nice bedrooms and 2 baths with showers and a separate wc. Host easy to contact and service-minded.

great location

Some parts of the flat were a bit dusty and the 2 futons in the living room must be the most uncomfortable in the world. But the flat was well equipped, we just needed a few groceries to set us up for the week. Very good base for a short break, would consider using again.

Not exactly what we expected

Property is outdated, all rooms very tiny and everything is old and not well maintained. Very uncomfortable sofas in the living room, ok beds. Hard to control temperature in the apartment, some rooms stayed very cold. It is located about 8 min walking to metro/underground. Usually it took us 30-40 min to all major attractions.

We ended up moving out after 3 nights.

Tony was very easy to communicate and allowed us to leave early with a refund (sadly we were charged for the day we moved out because we left an hour and a half after check out). The reasons for moving out were: stained lumpy couches. You are sitting on springs. Beds are broken held up by boxes and a board. Stained really disgusting mattresses. The pictures and the price makes the place look on the higher end. Sadly it’s not. Not sure where he was getting the reviews from.

Thank you for your feedback. To clarify, you were not charged for checking out late. The charges applied were only for the nights you stayed. Additionally we accommodated both an early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost. As soon as we were made aware of the bed issue, we promptly replaced it. Previous guests had not reported any problems, and we regret that this affected your stay. In a gesture of goodwill, we offered a full refund for the unused night, despite the financial loss at our end. Potentially comfortable flat in quiet neighborhood

The neighborhood was as described. It is in the process of gentrification and many apartments have been updated. The updates in this apartment were not recent and were done in an inferior way. The exterior of this terraced flat is in need of a bit of paint and some greenery! Our apartment was located on the ground floor, but has been divided into three separate flats. It is not as roomy as described. There is not room for 8 people to sit at the table, and the sitting room/kitchenette occupies a cramped space. The living area's two sofas are small and in need of replacement. The sleeper sofa is not usable, even for young children! (Our 9 year old grandsons slept on the sofas, which were the size of American loveseats.) The flat was extremely uncomfortable during the day since we experienced a heatwave and the windows were fixed to open only about 30 centimeters in the living room/kitchen. Additionally, we had to work to release the middle window which was stuck with paint! The bedrooms had fixed windows that were also made to open only partially, so air circulation was a problem. The toilet room (toilet and sink) was built under a stairway, so it required tall users to bend down to avoid bumping their heads. The shower bath had a leak from the shower pan, so water seeped onto the floor; we had to mop it up after each use. The refrigerator was adequate for our needs, but there was no ice in the freezer. The stove was quite good after we figured out how to use it, but there were no directions! The distances to stores, restaurants and the Tube were much further than described; nothing was as close as indicated in the advertisement. We experienced difficulty with the washer/dryer, and were forced to use our phones to find directions. Our clothes needed to by hung to dry completely, and the dryer rack was broken (pieces of it are missing!). Although we appreciated having a flat that could accommodate our group, we were surprised to find the problems noted above since so many of the VRBO reviews were positive. The apartment has potential, but is in need of some "TLC" and repairs.

Naturally I am very disappointed with this review. The flat has 3 rooms, it is not split into 3 flats. The property is advertised to sleep 7, not 8 people. There are 2 UK double beds sleeping 4, 2 single beds sleeping 2 people and a UK double sofabed that we advertise as sleeping 1. Most people who travel to London (UK) appreciate that the appliances and apartments are smaller in London than the average American home. The heatwave in London was very unusual. For safety and security reason, the opening of the windows are restricted to a height of 30-40cm. We have guests with small children staying at the flat. Furthermore, guests in the past have left the windows fully open which is not only a security risk, but also causes damage to the property when it rains. The washer/dryer does work, it's possible the guests overloaded the dryer. The cooker has an 'on' button and then you simply increase the temperature. Had the guests contacted us, we could have resolved these issues.

Kilburn Air B&B

This ground floor 3 bedroom flat suited our adult family of 4 with it's separate toilet, bathroom with bath with shower over and basin and toilet and then another separate shower room. There are 2 internal narrow steep stairs leading to 2 of the bedrooms. Beds were very soft but comfortable. 2 of the bedrooms were very small. Close to metro and bus service and places to eat. Street parking difficult.

Queens Park area

The apartment was ideal for our needs. Very good having a separate bathroom and shower room. Externally, some rubbish had been left on the ground and possibly disturbed by a animal - it made the entrance look neglected.

Had an enjoyable stay.Jad met us and was very informative.The flat had everything we..needed.

Great stay.Flat very clean with everything we needed.Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.Only negative the shower over bath was very slippery.A bath mat would be a great help. Easy walk to underground and good connections for all major sights.Would recommend.

We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Plus we loved the location. There are many great restaurants and shopping around the flat. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back.
