Enjoy the Guadalupe River in your own backyard on this acre and a half, 2 story home with a beautiful 1300 sq. ft. wrap around porch to sit, relax, and watch the tubers float by! No waiting in line with the private river access just steps outside of your backdoor! This home is located right before the 3rd crossing on River Road. Interested in fishing? This is the perfect place for you! The Guadalupe River at the 3rd crossing is stocked with trout starting December 1st! The current record from the property is 27 trout in 3 hours. Don't miss your chance to try and beat the record! Spacious kitchen with dining table for 6 and 4 additional seats at the breakfast bar. Comfortable living room with a Smart TV and a futon that sleeps 2. Large master bedroom with a queen size bed, Smart TV and beautiful views of the river with direct porch access. Master bedroom has a private bathroom. Upstairs loft great for kids to play games, watch movies on the Smart TV, and relax! The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, Smart TV and river views. The third bedroom, also with river views, has 2 twin beds. Guest bath is convenient to both the upstairs bedrooms and the loft. High quality linens are provided for all beds and bathrooms.

There are wonderful tube rentals, shuttle services, and entertainment up and down River Road! The closest tube rental to the home is Rocky Beach which is only .8 miles away. The best fishing in the area! Just a short drive to Gruene and downtown New Braunfels, which both offer several restaurants, entertainment, and numerous activities. Gruene Hall is the oldest dance hall in Texas and a famous landmark. Gruene also offers great shopping, restaurants and wine tasting. Close to the San Marcos outlet malls, Schlitterbahn and Canyon Lake. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. This home has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. You can park 4 vehicles at this property. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

Great location! River is awesome. Gotta go into Gruene at least once, but most important, gotta just sit in the river as much as possible. God Bless Gruene Hall and the Guadalupe River!

Lovely property, well-maintained in an ideal location. The river was just steps away from the beautiful porch and the property is minutes away from horseshoe float and Gruene activities. Excellent communication with property management during check in and check out process. Our family had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Weekend Getaway

Beautiful home and view with direct access to the river. Quiet and peaceful. It was a short drive into Gruene and New Braunfels. There was ease in communication with the property management company. I could not be more pleased with the visit!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is clean, itā€™s a great location, and it is remote with great scenery. Biggest issue that we had was that the coffee pots were all broken, there was a Keurig provided, but it wasnā€™t very clean. The condenser for the HVAC system is extremely loud and can be heard in the master bedroom. The master bed needs some serious maintenance. Itā€™s on a very cheap metal frame that cracks and squeaks for even the slightest movement. We did not have a good resting stay because of this. The last night we ended up staying in the living room on the futon, which wasnā€™t very comfortable. Also, the igniter was broken on the propane grill. The lack of a charcoal barbecue pit or any type of fire pit also really sucks. It wouldā€™ve been really nice to be able to make some sā€™mores or have a crackling fire at night, but we knew this coming in and we still accepted the property. And the biggest issue for me personally was the constant text and emails by the property management company. Receiving emails asking us to stay longer to pay more, and sending check out information two days ahead of time and then again the following day was a little much. This was our family second time with this house and First time, there was a small fire pit near the river, which made the stay a lot nicer. We will reconsider and probably not stay at this property again or with this management company with the amount of text and emails they sent.

Quite and Amazing River front property

This house toward the end of River Road. Very secluded and private with a very nice waterfront River front area perfect to enjoy the day in the Guadalupe River!! Really relaxing experience.

We set up a canopy with water chairs to hang out in the water. The grandkids had so much fun floating down a bit and walked back up. We were able to also do an hour and half float down to the house. I would highly recommend this house. The only issue we had was the 2 twin beds upstairs were not very comfortable.

We saw osprey fishing and lots of anglers wading in the water all day, catching small trout - all catch and release of course! Missing a few things that would have made it spectacular - no condiments - no sugar/salt/pepper. No real blankets - only the duvets that were supposed to be used as comforters. Clearly these are not washed or dry cleaned between guests! If these small things were fixed, it would be an ideal getaway
