In one of the most beautiful seaside areas of Syracuse, inside a wonderful residence with large private parking, pine forest and direct access to the sea (free beach and cliff), a 90sqm design villa overlooking the splendid Gulf of Syracuse giving a magnificent view of Ortigia and Castello Maniace, furnished, equipped and equipped with all comforts (sky, air conditioning, projector, wi-fi free, outdoor barbecue). The structure consists of 2 double bedrooms, one of which with a whirlpool tub and sea view, large bathroom with shower with waterfall, large living room with double sofa bed, kitchenette and bay window on a 160sqm terrace overlooking the sea, of which 20sqm covered.

The host was welcoming and responded to all our queries quickly and helpfully. He also arranged for a supermarket delivery before we arrived as the nearest shop is some distance. The property itself was great with amazing views across to Etna and access to a small beach five minutes’ walk away. Overall an excellent stay.

Great place to enjoy Sicily!

This was a great place to stay for 3 weeks as a family to enjoy Siracusa and eastern Sicily. The view, the patio, the access to the beach were amazing. Our host was great and responsive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely stay!

Very relaxing stay in Tony's villa. He was very helpful with my questions. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the back. We discovered a really nice beach near the harbor and enjoyed that too.

This unit has a nice view over the water looking at Siracusa. The unit and the building itself however are very run down and not looked after. They both need a lot of TLC. It was easy to find the unit because it was the only building with a broken gate and garbage cans left outsideThe owner didn’t leave instructions for the internet and the modem was turned off when we arrived. We had cold water in the morning only to discover the water heater and washer were also turned off.It was obvious the owner just doesn’t care.

Peaceful place with beautiful view

Nice, spacious apartment with a beautiful view of the water and Siracusa across. Very responsive owner and caretaker. Enjoyed going to Ortigia, Noto, Taormina, and Ragusa, plus beaches to the south. Easy to navigate in any direction. The pizzeria one minute walk away was delightful.

Beautiful appartement with a very large terrasse and a incredible view on Syracuse. Direct access to the see and very quiet place. This is a great place to visit this beautiful region, and Syracuse is like magic (7 km)! Tony is really benevolent and helpful He advised us about great things to do in the region that are not in any guidebook. I strongly recommend this leasing. Thanks Tony for welcoming us so nicely in your beautiful apartment, we had a great time in Syracuse!

A modern oasis with a timeless view

Amazing house. Everything you need for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. The house was lovely, clean and spacious having exactly what you needed and everything worked perfectly. Air conditioning, wifi, tv with original language channels. A private cove for swimming connected to a sandy beach along with an outdoor terrace to die for. No need to leave the house unless you wanted to. Tony, the owner was an exceptional host and just a phone call away if we ever needed anything. We loved it so much we extended our stay. This is the place to stay if your travels take you near Syracuse.

Excellent stay

Tony, the owner, was incredibly easy to deal with and very prompt in all his responses. He and his team were so helpful on our arrival and we were met at the property and given a guided tour plus lots of basic essential info about the area. Had we needed them, I have no doubt they’d have been in hand at any stage of our stay. The partner is certainly quirky, but in a wonderful position, with gorgeous views across to Ortigia (old Siracusa) which is just 15 minutes drive away. You can walk to a tiny cove with soft white sand and blue water in a couple of minutes, although, sadly, it was too wet and windy most of the time to take advantage of the beach. There is another lovely beach less than 10 minutes walk away on a quiet road past pretty gardens. The area is incredibly quiet and peaceful and you are surrounded by the sound of birds and sea. A highly recommend this place.

Wonderful location but…….,,

This is a provisional review, subject to resolving a concern with the property owners.The property is located right on the water across the bay from Ortega. Wonderful views. It’s a large property with many units in it which we really didn’t understand when we booked it. The unit we were staying in was one of 10 or 12 individual units in the property. We were the only ones in the property while we were there.Great communication and coordination about getting access. Wonderful wide terraces. Beautiful views. Being on the water the property does need some maintenance but overall for the price is good value. This particular unit had a funky rock ‘n’ roll vibe, which was interesting. Not necessarily our style, but it was well set up and well provisioned with all the equipment you would need.The challenge we ran into was bedbugs in one of the bedrooms. We had a four night booking. By the second day, it was clear there was an issue with over 40 . By the third day, it was pretty horrendous. All contained to the one larger bedroom, but unfortunately, had a significant impact on the member of our group that was in that room.There was no way we could stay for the last night. We reached out to the local person. They expressed concern. But we’ve had a request for a refund in that they say they are considering, but it has not been resolved now nearly two weeks later. These things happen and property owners need to be prepared to deal with them appropriately when they do occur.

L’appartement est extrêmement bien situé et bien décoré. Il jouit d’une splendide vue sur la baie de Syracuse. Seul point négatif est le manque de vaisselle (verres, couverts..) et d’une batterie de casseroles sale et usée. Andrea est très accueillant et très réactif. Il est de bons conseils au point de vue centres d’intérêts, restaurants et magasins! Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour.Cependant il faut savoir que la terrasse manque un peu d’intimité.

Wenn du gern die tolle Aussicht auf die Bucht von Syrakus genießen willst, bist du bei Antonio genau richtig. Die riesige Terrasse mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten je nach Tageszeit bietet Komfort. Außerdem kann man direkt vom Haus zum Meer gelangen. Antonio ist sehr hilfsbereit und sofort zur Stelle, wenn man ihn braucht. Alles zu empfehlen.

Great apartment with fantastic view

Really nice property with a wonderful terrace overlooking the bay. Fantastic to be able to walk down the drive to the little beach. Really responsive host and easy check in and check out. Only criticism? The pinball machine didn’t work…

beautiful apartment with a great view

Het appartement, het uitzicht , waren fantastisch. Tony de gastheer is een voorbeeld voor vele verhuurders. Niets was hem teveel. Enig minpuntje was de weg naar het appartement, die hier en daar voor oponthoud zorgde, maar als je daarna bij het complex kwam, was je dit snel vergeten. In de buurt zijn diverse restaurants en ook op korte afstand kun je bij La Greca in de ochtend vers brood kopen. Tony bedankt voor je gastvrijheid.

:-) tolle wohnung, originell eingerichtet :-) tolle lage für uns als schwimmer mit direktem zugang zum meer :-) sensationelle sonnenuntergänge, die man vom balkon aus bewundern kann :-) tony ist ein super gastgeber :-( ein teil der terrasse hätte ein paar kleinere reparaturen nötig Fazit: wir hatten einen tollen urlaub!

Great Stay in a Fantastic Place

This place is simply great, full of confort and with a incredible terrace with a fantasctic view on the Syracusa Old Town "Ortigia". The location is perfect with direct access to a nice and very romantic sand beach. We spend incredible evenings on the terrace. Tony is very gentel and professional. He was able to manage my last second booking wihtout any problem. The flat was very clean. Unfortunately we planned only 2 nights in Syracuse, but of course, we will be back for a longer period in the near future. I strongly recommend this accommodation!! Thank you Tony!

The view! The view! The view!

You won't ever want to leave the spacious terrace of this great apartment with great WiFi and great A/C. Ortigia with its culture, shops, and restaurants is an easy 10-20 min. drive, depending on traffic, while a couple of almost walkable pizza and seafood joints line the beach in the direction there. We did not use the beach but did use the barbecue one night. Tony is quick as lightning to respond to queries and resolve issues. Highly recommended.
