The power supply to the house is not sufficient & the appliances are very old. The power kept tripping, several times daily which was very frustrating. We needed to use the air conditioning as it was extremely hot during our stay. We eventually figured out how to mitigate this as each time it turned the fridge off which needs to be reset manually each time. The fridge laboured & hummed constantly & struggled to chill food which meant we had to throw out fresh produce which was very inconvenient. Marianna did come with a small fridge to replace this but it had no freezer so we had to keep both appliances in an already cramped kitchen! Shortly before before our check out time we received a message from Marianna instructing us to take any rubbish that had not been collected during our stay to a local recycling center. This was the first time we had received any instruction regarding rubbish & recycling. There had been no mention of this on check in, the house rules or on any communication relating to our booking. We had found a rubbish collection schedule in the kitchen a few days after our arrival and had taken it upon ourselves put out any rubbish or recycling on those days. As we had already loaded our luggage in our car we had no room or time to do this which we explained to Marianna. We got a nasty message after we left in response which included an accusation that we had broken one of the beach chairs, which we had already reaplced.
