HOME HIGHLIGHTS:

- You will have a total of 3 RFID access cards (1 card per every two people) for access to the private beaches in Seaside. - Sandpiper Linen Program Participant: All linen, bedding and bath, are the highest quality.

OPTIONAL ADD-ONS:
- There is an additional cost to use the 3 pools and fitness center in Seaside.The cost for this cottage is $84/day. Please alert us after booking should you wish to add the "Seaside Amenity Passes" to your reservation.
-Vacation Cancellation Protection- Allows cancellation for any reason up to 48 hours in advance of stay and guarantees 50% of all monies refunded ($125 fee applies at booking)

This 3 bedroom/ 3.5 bath cottage includes a King master bedroom on the main level with a renovated private bathroom. Upstairs there is another oversized KING master with a private bathroom. The second floor is also home to a dual twin bedroom. There are 2 private baths; one off each master bedroom and one hallway bathroom on the second floor for the twin bedroom.
The main level boasts a spacious updated kitchen that opens up to a large dining area, fun-filled family room, and entertainment for movie nights or a family game night!
Whether you're thinking about going coastal, or just going to the cottage has it all!

Going Coastal is what Seaside is all about! Centrally located steps to Ruskin Place and the Seaside Town Square.

We loved our stay in “Going Coastal” It was very spacious and well organized with everything needed and well appointed for beach house. House was close to beach, pool and restaurants/ shopping which made it easy and enjoyable It was our grandson, Liam’s first beach trip and it was a huge hit Thank you for such gracious hospitality and accommodations

Going Coastal Delivers

We did a week vacation with our family to enjoy Seaside area. The house was very comfortable and the location is great. We would recommend this place to families wanting to get a way!

Mom and 4 Daughters

We enjoyed staying at "Going Coastal". We like the open floor plan with plenty of space. Also each bedroom had its own full bathroom. Plus there was a half bath on the main floor. The location was fantastic as it was walking / biking distance from the seashore. Would highly recommend staying there!

The perfect place

Prime proximity ! We loved this house. So comfortable, clean and nicely appointed . Literally steps from Seaside shopping and the beach . East Ruskin beach access was stunning . Tough to leave this lovely place.

Overall the house was pretty nice! Awesome location!! Kitchen was stocked with plenty of plates, utensils, pots/pans, etc. The only complaint we had was that the bathroom floors weren’t too clean. However, we would stay there again if we return to Seaside.

Great Family Vacation!

Our family trip was incredible! This property is right NEXT to the seaside circle. Literally a 1 min walk/30 second bike ride to the circle. A short 5 min walk to the beach and easy gate access to the beautiful beach. The house was super clean and perfect. The only bummer was the checkin time was 4pm and check out was 10am with no wiggle room. This made it hard to coordinate flights. Be prepared to buy toys for kids, wagon, floats, beach towels, bath supplies, trash bags, etc. But this can all be found at Publix or Walmart. Great trip all around!!

Cute house

Pros: property is in a great location if you want to walk to everything. Comfy beds. Cute, quaint, bikes work great. We found a closet with everything you want for beach days in the back patio (day 3) it would be helpful if this information was written down in instructions. Cons: there was ALOT of construction going on around us. A lot of men working morning through sundown. The master bedroom is lit up all night because of semi sheer curtains and an outside street light. We had a very large roach in kitchen. The floors have not been mopped. Zero spices in kitchen. No storage containers for leftover food. Top shelf of refrigerator too small and tipped over. Kitchen pretty outdated and just enough to cook small meals.

Great bones, needs some updates

There is much about Going Coastal to recommend it, but unfortunately it left us a bit disappointed. On the positive side, the layout of the house - 3 bedrooms, each with their own bath, plus a main-floor half bath - is wonderful. The location also cannot be beat. Two blocks to the main square, and a 5-minute walk to the beach. If these elements are your main concerns, then Going Coastal is perfect, and you should not hesitate to book it. Unfortunately for us the cons would prevent us from booking again. With 2 small kids, we cooked at the house quite a bit, and while the structure of the kitchen is lovely, it still really needs some updates. The stove seemed quite old and in need of replacement (the interior light literally fell out in the middle of cooking), and the cookware is really sparse (for example, we had to buy our own cutting board). We also were disappointed to realize that the door to the twin bedroom is a makeshift air return for the HVAC system, so the noise travels quite easily through the door, and so we had to be quiet while our kids were asleep in order to avoid waking them. Finally, the ceiling inside had several spots of mildew. To Sandpiper’s credit, they took that seriously and sent someone out to clean it right away, but as a family with allergies, it left us feeling a bit nervous about the air quality in the house. So, a lot of reasons to really love Going Coastal, but for us, we’ll look to find a different house for our next visit.

Great Location for downtown

The house was exactly as listed. It was the perfect size for my family of five to spread out and it was well appointed. The linens were brand new and there was ample supple. The televisions in every bedroom is a great addition! We loved the ease with which we could get to town square-less than a minute. It was a little more tedious getting to the beach because we would walk all the way around to avoid the chaos of town square. There are so many people that come to seaside during the day and it makes for a lot of dodgeball with cars and people. We loved how the beaches weren’t crowded on the E. Ruskin side of the beach. However we didn’t like how over 70% of the cabana mans umbrella/chair set ups were empty and they were booked for the entire week and we couldn’t rent from them. Luckily, there are small pockets on the beach where bring your own people can set up and we were able to find space since they beaches weren’t crowded. All in all a great escape and the house is updated and centrally located. I would definitely recommend it.

Close to everything!

What I love most about this property is how close it is to all things Seaside… just a few steps from the restaurants and shops, a short walk to the beach, and the pools/sport courts. The location is perfection! The house itself is very spacious and has more than enough bathrooms which is great. I would absolutely stay here again!

Summer Getaway in Seaside

One of the last properties available by the time we booked turned out to be ideal for our group of 6. Great location near restaurants and shops and less than 5 minutes to the beach. Nice, clean beach house.
