Hanging Rock Cabin at Luna's Trail

This property is part of the 350 acre Luna's Trail Resort but maintains privacy and has a beautiful view of Hanging Rock. We offer offer meals at the nearby Lodge on weekends.
The Hanging Rock Cabin is named for the beautiful view of Hanging Rock visible from both inside and outside of the house. This is our newest cabin, completed in the fall of 2016. It provides a spacious central area with full kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It shares 300 acres with 2 other cabins available on VRBO as well. There is lake access, as well as access to ample hiking trails. Enjoy the relaxing peace of the farm, with access to farm animals when available. There is also a large crop of blueberries which provides ample fruit usually around July.

If the cabin is not rented the day prior, then check-in time is flexible. If the cabin is not rented the day after, then check-out time is also flexible.

There is also a wedding venue on the property (out of sight of the cabin), so you may inquire as to whether an event is going on during your stay.

Our restaurant is available Friday Lunch - Sunday Breakfast.

Big beautiful, clean cabin.

Very spacious with lots of bathrooms. Really huge yard, great for dogs. Not too far from hanging rock and Midsummer Brewery. Great front porch with great view loved it

Long weekend escape

This property was perfect for what my family of 6 adults was wanting. The house is very spacious and well equipped with a gorgeous view. The hosts left us sweet surprises and were so accommodating when we asked to stay longer. The takeout food from the restaurant on the property was delicious and so convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Hope we can go back soon!

Relaxing

Wonderfully quiet and relaxing. Beautiful view from a great porch. Cabin had everything needed. Food from the restaurant was quite good. Would definitely return.

Amazing weekend

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin. It was spacious and even with a power outage due to a continuous storm, our gracious host called to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely love to come back and highly recommend!!!

Sublime Escape in Pristine Surroundings

We escaped to this spectacular location with our three kids aged 9, 6 and 6. The cabin provided more than enough room for us including our dog! The kitchen was large and we had plenty of room to spread out and warm ourselves by the fireplace. We loved exploring the property and visiting with the cows and horses and the friendly farm dog Bo who waited on our porch to play with our dog each morning. Hiking the farm along the many trails was perfect. We enjoyed Hanging rock State Park and pilot Mountain State Park which are both within 20 minutes- an easy drive from the property. There are also many wineries nearby to explore. We were extremely comfortable at the property and the hosts were available and eager to help in any way! Hands down we will be back and I would not hesitate to recommend this awesome backdrop for any active family!

Amazing family getaway

This was the perfect getaway for our family. The cabin was spacious, clean, and well stocked. The surrounding area was incredible and the view from the cabin was amazing! It was our first time traveling with our puppy who loved exploring the open fields and farm animals. The location was very convenient to Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock. It was a great change in scenery and we look forward to going back!

Beautiful property!

The whole place was great, and this cabin was beautiful, clean, and easy to access. The pix don’t showcase the stained glass enough! It was really hot during our stay, so we only got out to a few of the trails on the property. Food from the restaurant was delicious, and incredibly convenient! (Especially considering that other stores and places to eat are all 15-30 minutes away.) The owners were exceptional. All-around a wonderful experience.

Relaxing Retreat

Just what we needed, a retreat from city life. Such a beautiful house and property. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck looking at the mountains and letting our dog run free. Went for a canoe ride on the pond and walk the trail along the creek. You never know what you will get reading a description and a few pictures but this one exceeded our expectations.

Awesome Getaway!

During this COVID 19 Pandemic - this weekend getaway provided an opportunity for Me and my family to reconnect. It was perfect in every way! Daniel the owner was more than accommodating during this tome and we are very appreciative for the time we got to spend together- highly recommend this location. You are away from the hustle and bustle of everyday living. A+

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and quiet

From the moment we pulled in and up to the house I knew we made a good choice. The grounds are beautiful and the home was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed seeing the animals and taking hikes on the trails. Daniel was extremely accommodating and helpful! We will most certainly be back and since there are two other homes on the property we will return with family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
