Tasteful accommodation on beautiful Brännö! Here you live peacefully, close to the sea and full of peace in a real archipelago idyll, with lots of opportunities for activities and outdoor life. The island is car-free with frequent ferry traffic to the entertainment city of Gothenburg. When you step off the ferry at Brännö, you are immediately welcomed by the island's calm warmth. At the same time there is a lively atmosphere with flat mopeds and bicycles passing by, and both islanders and visitors greet each other in a friendly manner. Here you really see each other, and the ferry is regarded by the residents as a social hub where many topics are discussed and conversations arise. Approximately 200 meters from the ferry stop is the apartment, which is directly adjacent to the home owner's residence. It is an impressive conversion of two sheds into a fantastic apartment which, despite its limited surface area, offers a lot of space and functionality. The apartment is located on the ground floor and has its own terrace with seating for outdoor lunches. Already in the hall, you are greeted by an immediate sense of design and pops of color, thanks to textile details and carefully selected works of art. In the living room there is a day bed and a flexible sofa bed that can easily be converted into four beds. This makes it possible to easily put away bedding in the morning and have access to the entire room during the day. A small staircase leads up to the kitchen and bathroom. The common thread of shape and color is repeated here as well, and there are plenty of storage options and what is needed to prepare good meals. The kitchen table can be easily folded out to provide more seating in no time. To save space, the bathroom is equipped with a flexible sliding door. There you will also find a shower and a washing machine for convenience. The apartment is an impressive conversion with well-planned and functional spaces. The consistent design and color scheme give a unified feel, and the modern furnishings and equipment create a comfortable and cozy environment. The apartment was built in 2023 and it gives an extra touch of luxury and comfort when everything is new! Brännö is a living archipelago island in the southern part of Gothenburg's archipelago with approximately 900 permanent residents. The island differs from the other islands in the archipelago thanks to the agriculture, piloting history, customs and shipping that have been the main source of livelihood. Song composer Lasse Dahlqvist has made the island famous through his songs. If you want to experience the classical dance at Brännö pier, walk to Husvik on the southwest side in approx. 10 minutes. From the mountain at the old pilot's lookout, at the island's highest point, you have a view from Vinga to the entrance to Gothenburg. The small houses and the narrow roads give the island a charming impression. Here on the island there is everything you need! Shop with post office, restaurant, bakery, cafe and church. There are also plenty of bathing spots. The closest is Grönavik. At Brännö Värdshus you can eat well and there is also a rustic and homely restaurant in the harbour. Via a narrow land connection, it is possible to walk over to fantastic Galterö. Here there is a rich birdlife and a lovely nature. If you want to learn more about Brännö's history, you shouldn't miss the small charming local museum in the middle of the island. Welcome to beautiful Brännö!
