Barn b is a newly completed holiday home. It's located in a tranquil setting in the Suffolk countryside and although private, forms part of a much larger agricultural minimalist eco conversion.

This Scandinavian designed escape for four is the ideal bolthole for a small family, one or two couples or a small group of friends looking to rest and relax in luxury. Alton Water is just at the end of the no-through lane and has over 400 acres of parkland to explore, including the 8 mile cycle or walking track. For those who enjoy sports, there are plenty of activities to try, including mountain biking, sailing and paddle boarding (all can be hired via Alton Water). A little further afield is Pin Mill, situated on the banks of the River Orwell and boasts a great pub overlooking the water. The Dedham Vale AONB is just a short drive away and hosts some of the prettiest villages with lovely walks, independent shops and eateries to peruse. Closer to home is the Suffolk Foodhall where you can pick up some delicious local produce to indulge in.

Barn b is a haven of sustainable living, designed with a deep respect for the environment and a commitment to preserving the natural beauty that surrounds it. The two bedroom and two bathroom sanctuary offers a perfect blend of sustainability and modern comfort. There is an open-plan living space with Danish sofas and a simple designed dining area for enjoying meals together. The kitchen is a sleek and functional space that is fully equipped for all your culinary needs. The 8m wide expanse of glass in the living space seamlessly connect the indoor and outdoor spaces allowing an abundance of light to flow inside. For home entertainment, there is a Samsung Frame smart TV in the living space.

The bedrooms are designed to provide a quiet space, perfect for a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the area. They feature minimalist design with Scandi-inspired aesthetics, characterized by clean lines, neutral tones, and natural materials. Perfectly positioned windows with automated blinds in each room allow for plenty of natural light to fill the space.

Additionally, there is an electric vehicle charger available if required.

There is currently no garden whilst we wait for seeding to take.
For stays from early 2024 onwards there will be outside space to enjoy. In the meantime, it is a wonderful base to explore the local area and beyond if an immediate garden is not essential to you.
