Getaway at Ben & Lucy's Retreat. This spacious family friendly farmhouse hosts 4 queen bedrooms and 3 full baths. Plenty of space to hang out with family and friends inside and out. Inside there are 2 sitting areas, living room, and large kitchen with seating. There is ample room outside to grill out, play corn-hole or share stories around the fire-pit. Easy access from Rt.2 and 80/90 turnpike. Head over to The Jet Express 4 miles away and visit Put in Bay for the day. Visit Cedar Point 17 miles away. Port Clinton and surrounding areas have many tourist activities whether you want to fish, swim at East Harbor State Park, view the Marblehead Lighthouse, tour the wineries, eat at local restaurants or shop.

Central Location

We've stayed here multiple times and the location is perfect for our fishing needs. It is located between Port Clinton and Wild Wings Marina, which just happens to work out for us.

We stayed here with 2 other couples and the space was perfect. Everyone got their own bedroom & bathroom. The location was convenient to get to & from our fishing charter. They even provided a deep fryer when we asked about one. The only drawback is that there wasn't a washer or dryer. Would have been nice to throw our fishing clothes in the washer. We would stay here again.

Annual Lake Erie Get yogether

So much room! We were 3 seniors, 3 30 somethings and my sweet 7 year old grandson. We went boating. The house is close to Midway, Catawba and PT Clinton. We had a cookout, and boated to and from the July 4th fireworks. The extra fridge in the garage made things very easy.

Quaint Home Centrally Located

Had seven guests, tons of space! Nice quiet setting with easy access to Jet Express, Cedar Point and everything in between. The owners obviously take great pride in their property. Well maintained, nice decor, modern features and easy to follow instructions for check in/check out. Will definitely stay again.

The very best of the best.

A wonderfully clean, spacious, and homey stay. The owner and the lady who did the daily cleaning were so helpful and kind. They even provided some great farm-fresh cantaloupe for us. We hope to stay here again in two years when we return for the next reunion.

Comfy and quiet

Clean and spacious. Country setting. Not walking distance to attractions , restaurants, etc. but an easy drive to most. Rooms and bathrooms were great! 2- car garage was a plus. Definitely would stay again.

Great Place for a Large Group!

This house was fantastic to stay at while we were fishing Lake Erie. The location was close to town, as well as, close to the marina that we fished out of. The home is very large, with four nice bedrooms and a full size kitchen! As fishermen, we would have liked to have a chest freezer in the garage to freeze our fish, but other than that, this place was great! We will definitely be staying here again!!

Excellent internet access. Very clean. Fire pit and grill a plus! Stayed a week and kids didnā€™t want to leave. Washer/dryer access is my wifeā€™s request.

Fabulous spacious country home

Fabulous farmhouse-like home with all the amenities. All bedrooms are organized and spacious. Kitchen is amazing-all the amenities and lots of space. Front porch is so comfortable and enjoyable all day long. Grill works great. Comfortable living room and additional sitting room. Lots of space for a large or small group. We'll be going back!

Annual Cabin/Cottage Get Away Trip

The house was clean and had plenty of space for our group. It has a large garage so that you can hang out in there in case of rain or to get out of the sun. Nice firepit in the back and an area to sit out in the back yard that is secluded also. What isn't mentioned is that there is a house directly next to it that you kind of share a driveway with, but the homeowner didn't bother us in anyway. It just surprised us because the description says secluded. It is on a main road so lots of cars going past. Other than that, we had our privacy. We really enjoyed it, and the amenities were great. Close to a lot of outdoor venues and places to visit. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Just Right

Our small group of friends make an annual weekend trip to the Sandusky/aport Clinton area. The property was perfect for us to lounge and visit and prep/ eat meals. There is a grocery store withing 15minutes and the jet express ferry is also within 10 min. There were several restaurants nearby with gluten free options and a variety of choices. Marcy was amazingly helpful. We had a great time and would consider booking again. We had 4 adults and one teen in our party.

Great location

This was a lovely property!- good outdoor space and lovely home with plenty of space for my family (5). The only downside is the road has some traffic noise starting at 4-5a although it only bothered me, the rest of my family didn't notice. I used ear plugs and that helped me as a light sleeper who was staying in the front upstairs bedroom. On the positive of being near the main road, is that it was an easy 15 mins or so to downtown Port Clinton and just little longer to other nearby towns. The owner was very responsive and helpful overall and we would definitely stay again and have recommended it to others. Good deal with cost as well
